Mitzi had just gotten herself under control again when the horsewoman preceded to pat Chryses on the head, just like a cranky scareling. She didn't burst into another full fit of giggles again, but she did have to stifle some snickers. She had just managed to get them back down enough that she could talk when Shaheen suddenly simply strode off without them. What happened to finding the horseman she was looking for? It was enough of a distraction that the Reaper forgot what she'd been about to say - an apology of sorts for Shaheen, explaining that the horsewoman clearly didn't understand Halloween still. Of course, the demon didn't give her a chance. Clearly without a second thought, he just up and ditched her. The ghoul's sympathy for him disappeared in a flash, and she felt anger rising as he left. How... how dare he?! Why the little... It was just as well Salbei came by just then, tapping her shoulder, distracting her, and thereby reminding her that she'd come here to have fun. And if she wasn't about to let her mother get in the way of that, no little so-and-so of a demon was going to either. So she followed, joining in the dance right beside Shaheen, who she noticed had been caught on her way back. Well, the two of them could have fun together, without their dates. So there.

Spookie crumbs didn't bother the djinn . She just chuckled and brushed them off before giving Jove an encouraging nudge towards where all the other court were gathering to be crowned. She hadn't been there in time to vote, but that was okay. The majority of people that had won were those she probably would have favored anyways, so all in all she was happy with the five that had been chosen. As the dancing began again Yaya lingered where Jove had left her by the refreshment table, the painted toes of one bare foot tapping along with music as she watched Lizzy and Invictus waltzing. There was a moment of regret that her dear nergal wasn't there with her so they could join in, but the moment passed as the music shifted and she she had to bring a hand up quickly to stifle the laughter that bubbled out of her when Lizzy and Junko started bouncing around. Jack, they were goofy ghouls. Had she been in a better mood, the water djinn would have likely joined in. Instead she waited by the plate of spookies for Jove to return, helping herself to one, along with a cup full of punch.

"YAY PERSON I HAVE NOT MET BEFORE!" She cheered at Enzo, and his... Uh, rats and roaches, glad that he was joining in, even if he didn't look like he was enjoying it as much as she did. When a horseman brought several more people over, her smile grew, "YAY PEOPLE!"
She was very excited. In fact, she was so excited that Muka's... Creepy dance move did not bother her as much as before. She might also had Caramelldansen'ed all the way to a few students she knew, dragging them to the dance floor, where the music was blasting, and people were dancing. It was all very lively, which might explain the grin on her face; it was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves... They needed this break!
"Try it~" She giggled, getting into position, hands beside her ears as she bounced up and down on the stop,

It must have been fate that turned the song into one Junko knew well. She and Tomoko had often danced to thing song in tomokos room durin sleepovers. She knew exactly how do it. Junko was practically a professional.

Anna made a face something like this:
O________________o
She stared at the other students, then sort of... put her hands up behind her head and twitched them vaguely. With a look of terror on her face.

"Yes you are~!" Salbei chimed back to Sheridan, grinning away. Shaheen was given an encouraging nod, and his grin only drew as more people joined in. "Because everyone is doing it!" Everyone, with the exception of Shaheen and Mitzi because whoever took the picture had to go and would be sure to get them in later. Outside of the obvious exception of the very much NOT dancing Sheridan, of course.
But he should.

Riley let out a small sound when Eris responded, and nodded as she accepted the answer. She supposed the term protege was a joke she did not get, then. She accepted that information readily, but her back straightened reflexively when she felt a finger curling one of her tentacles up. She understood Eris' intentions perfectly, and let them sink in for consideration.
You are an intriguing delight, my lady. Riley murmured, pulling away slowly as the song ended, and something quite different began. I would be honored to get to know you better.
The song itself, and the bouncing ghouls that stormed the dance floor, caught Riley's attention for a moment. Never one to pass up a colloquial opportunity, she watched them for a moment, and her arms rose up very slowly to hold them at her head. The mimicry of their movements was imprecise, and slow.
But it was the attempt that mattered.
What is this dance..? She asked - as if Eris would know.

Sheridan gave a soft 'hmph' and stubbornly kept his arms crossed. I don't want to and you can't make me! Even if everyone else was doing it. ..... Fine, but he was NOT putting his hands up like that! He'd flick his tail back and forth to the rhythm. Satisfied?

The look Anna had reminded her of the look Emily had given her that one time. Thus Lizzy made sure to be encouraging, "YAY ANNA! You're doing great!" Trying was a great first step. Can't get anywhere without that first step!
Since she seemed to be doing well on her own - for now - Lizzy went to grab more people she knew, happily dragging them to the dance floor. However, on the way back, she tripped over someone, almost falling, but somehow managing to keep her balance despite her puffy dress; if she had fallen down, she imagined it would be... Difficult trying to get up again.
Looking at the person she had tripped over, the ghoul frowned, "Gene?" The ghost looked like she had passed out for some unknown reason, so she did her the favor of pulling her off the floor - so she wouldn't be stepped on, or be a tripping hazard again - and shaking her, glad that she wasn't too heavy, "Gene? Wake up!"

"I got this!" Mot called, sliding toward Gene like he was sliding into home base. He pulled out a flask from his coat. Inside, was emergency coffee beans. He waved the open flask in front of her face. "This is clearly a caffeine emergency."

When Aymet went all to pieces, Thackery just stared. Well, it certainly hadn't been his fault. He briefly wished that he had brought the entire punch bowl over to the dracolich, but it was too late for that now, he supposed. At the sight of something that looked like another shiny ball, he instinctively perked up and moved to get it--and luckily, Amrita beat him to it. Playing catch with the thing that he now realized was the phylactery would probably not have been the best idea, especially when Aymet was in bits and pieces all over the floor. "Yes! I can help!" he chimed, kneeling on the floor to fish some of the smaller bones out of their hiding places. Pesky bones. They never seemed to stay where you wanted them to. Story of his fluffy life. With his arms full and no more bones to be sniffed out in the immediate vicinity, he carefully placed them on the designated cape. It was kind of sad to see him all clumped together like that, not saying awesome things anymore. His ears drooped. "I'm sorry all of the bad dancing made you want to die, but I hope you feel better soon," he offered solemnly, frowning.

"... Why do you have coffee beans in your suit?"
A pause.
"Do you have tea leaves too?"
See what I did there?

Enzo was not quite sold on this dance. Maybe it was a regional thing. This sort of nonsense never made it to his home streets, that was for sure. But it seemed to be catching, and very popular with the ghouls. Hum. Scanning the dance floor, he spotted a set of writhing tentacles, and immediately frowned. Wasn't that the bird that ran the fitness club? He was pretty sure he had seen her turn to stone on that last so-called field trip. The dame beside her wasn't that bad a looker either. Pretty fine, in fact. He tried to get the Dansen a bit jazzier in movement, twisting his feet to shimmy over to the pair of older ghouls as he tugged his fedora down suavely. "Hey." He snapped his fingers at Riley, peeking out from under the brim, and continued to Dansen. "You're that dead-Dora, right? Sources told me that whole Fitness Club thing was your bag, but seein' as how you aint dead no more, it's still on, right?" Important, burning questions. "Wanted to talk to you about boxing. By everyone's gum beatin', you had more'n cement-shoes holding you down, I was heartbroken, Pidge." He wasn't, really.

The princess had been crowned yet Desu knew she was destined for some greatness on her own. There were other princesses as well. Everyone was a princess in her eyes. She would crown them all. All the princesses. Table flipping was forgotten as she found a new purpose off of her scattered mind. Crown the princesses. Crowning Danny with a red band of glitter and stars she skipped over to one other pretty princess in black and green. A tiny tiara of green pulled from her kimono, she set it on Jack's head before going to Remi, putting a crown on his head. Princess making, Desu-chan was on her new mission.
