Patrol quickly closed the door behind Zy. "You're daughter was calling you." He told him as he watch the family.
Zy didn't respond, he only held Shaon and Janan in his arms. He was afraid that the worst had happened. He was so glad to see them.

shaon only kept her head in his arms, she was tired. Zy's anger had driven her strenght away. Janan licked him frantically, then went back to shaon.

Patrol smiled and went outside the room. He figured that the family should have some privacy, plus he felt weird being in the room.
Zy calmed down once he had them in his arms and he knew that they were safe, he didn;t realize how dependent he became of his and Janans connection, but he didn't understand why it was severed.

Shaon whimpered softly, turning her head and licking Zy's face before resting her head on his neck, she brought her arms around and hugged him, whinning.
Janan, who had previosuly been latched onto Shaon's arm licked her mother's necka dn then went back to nuzzling Zy.

soon Jerick and the others were finished with the assault. They only lost three men, several wounded, including Jerick and Zy, and managed to kill off every enemy."Burn the bodies and collect the weapons" He told the other as he walked inside the house.
Patrol nodded at Jerick as he entered. "Zuriel lost his connection to Janan, He can no longer sense her and she can no longer communicate to him. Looks like the prophecy will be fulfilled." He told his cousin in a sorrow tone
"I'm sorry Zuriel." Jerick closed his eyes. it pained him to know what will happen, but it would be for the best. Part of the prophecy told of the father losing his ability to sense his daughter thoughts and feelings. Jerick hated hid the entire story to Zy and Shaon, but nothing would stop him from fulfilling the prophecy.

Zy held them close,it felt goo to hold them. He didn't know what had happened, but he was happy now.

Shaon licked Janan's head as she let out a soft sigh. Janan squealed at the tongue but rubbed on both of her parents.

Jerick knocked on the door and opened it without waiting a response. "We only have a few days until their reinforcements arrive." He told them.

Shaon let her head fall on Zy's should. Janan squaeled softly, pulling at her mother's ear as she tried to get her to lift her head. She rubbed agaisnt her father and then went back to pulling on Shaon's ear and arm.

Zy looked up at Jerick. I hate running away, The whole reason I wanted a farm was so that-
"You and your family would be safe?" Jerick interrupted Zy. "Look, I'm sorry things are working out this way. but we can't change the past. I suggest you start backing." He told them before walking out of the room.

Janan squealed at Zy, biting at her father with her jgums and tiny teeth, trying to get his attention.

Zy looked down at his daughter and smiled, she looked so cute. He pet her and scratched her behind the ears.

Janan hissed at her, ears back as her fur rose. she didn;t know how to show him something was wrong so she snarled at him, whimmpering as she nuzzled Shaon.
