☠ Axis nodded to the Fruit Tart when he commented on how someone might have heard him bashing down a door. Sure, he was right, but that was why he had listened to the area before making those drastic decisions. But all in all, he was happy with his find. He found something that looked like a deadly weapon, some spare parts, and some food. But the whole part of the food being in a can made it almost hard to get to. When he looked down the hall, he noticed there was a lot of door, meaning there was a lot of rooms and apartment, but Axis and Edward wouldn't have time to go through all these apartments, loot them all, and carry it all. They had to keep in mind all the loot that gain they would have to carry on their backs, not to mention some weapons they may find. It was a long trek over to the housing district, and soon they would have to find out where they would go from there. 'First off, I need to find a place that can be defended easily, one way in, has enough space to live in, have a storage space, some sort of furniture, solid structure. Wow, this might take a lot more thought than I first though.' He thought.
As he continued to think about the possible place to stay, he looked over to Edward. "So, once we get there, we should take a trip down the block and look through the houses for more possible loot to get us to the point where we find a place to live temperately. Once we're there, we can always come back and get more supplies. Unless there is some sort of community that we could join until we can figure out how to get back to our own dimension. Er, world? Any objections?" Axis asked as he looked over to the housing district. They walked along the sidewalk, having no idea what anything was there. Sure they could recognize the houses, and some thing inside, but cars and bikes, or anything of that nature, they were completely clueless. Once they were able to accurately tell they were in the housing district, Axis turned to Edward.
"I'll take the houses on this side, and you take the houses on that side. Whatever you do, stay low, and stay as quiet as possible. We still don't know who or what is out there, so all we can do now is try to stay alive. If you find anything useful, grab it. If you're backpack gets too heavy, make a stash somewhere in the house, we can come back for it later." Axis told Edward before turning and going into the house labeled 586 on it. He was on the even side of the housing district, while Edward would be on the odd numbered houses. The first house's front door was lock, so Axis had to go around back. Once he got inside, he realized that looting might be a bit difficult. Sure, they had lots of stuff in there, but it was ether broken and left behind, or someone must have already gone through it. He sighed softly, and got to work looting it. Maybe now was a good time to try and figure out how to use his new weapon.
He pulled the back pack off his shoulder and began to pull out the gun. He looked at it oddly, and then pressed on a little button on the side of it, and out came one of those odd looking black things with the tiny copper things in it. So it was ammo for this thing. He then began to play with the top of it, and after a couple of minutes, discovered that it can be pulled backwards. Then, another one of those copper things popped out. So this gun was loaded the entire time. Axis put the copper thing back into the little chamber, pushed it back forward, and then put the ammo back into the handle thing. He was ready. He tucked the gun away into his side pocket of his bag, then reached around, strapping it in.
Once he was finished with fiddling around with this new weapon, he began to search the house top to bottom, looking for anything useful.

Edward was satisfied with what he had found as well. He found knives, a bat, bottles, a can, and an opener. The opener would make things so much easier, considering most of the food they would find in a place like this, most likely, would have to be canned. He wasn't too keen on having to set up a base. He would have rathered they get out of this place a soon as possible. He had a destiny as a brilliant ninja to achieve. But, he realized they hadn't the slightest clue as to where to go or what to do as of yet. Regardless, he followed Axis down the sidewalk, glancing to the young man as he looked back. He listened to the plan fully and thought about it. Given what he had just thought about, he couldn't very well disagree. "Alright, but it's unlikely we'll find anybody within the city. The food and water supplies here would be rather limited, and those things, I'm guessing, would most likely be densest in such a previously populated area." He brought his attention out to the houses, nodding at Axis' suggestion. "Alright, but it feels like you're trying to get rid of me already." He said almost jokingly, sticking his tongue out lightly. Edward would head towards the nearest house on his side. It was 587. He would move towards the door, testing the lock and door, but of course, finding it boarded up. He began to look around, smirking as he saw a broken window along the side. He carefully climbed in through, gasping lightly at the scent. The place stunk of blood. He held a hand towards his pocket just in case. With that, he began searching the room, it was the kitchen, a perfect place to start. As he looked around he found a very old trail of blood leading from one room to another. For now he searched the kitchen as quitely as he could looking for something, while keeping his ears alert for anything moving. (2x) 14801 cp Spendable cp: 4273 Words: 339 reserved cp:59

☠ Axis was looking around the house and began to wonder around it, venturing up the stairs, looking around, finding nothing but scattered clothes, nothing but junk. But then he went into the attic. In all other logic, the attic seems like one of the worst places to hind. Like in horror movies, the chick getting chased always goes into the attic, but never thinks of running out into the wilderness, or down the street to get help, and yet, she always end up coming out of the whole situation completely fine. The logic was always a bit screwed up, but it was worth it. As Axis shook his head, why would he think of that as a time like this? He chuckled to himself, then turned and began to climb up the stairs leading to the dark attic.
Once he peered inside, he noticed a light switch. But what he saw made him flinch. There was a woman, dressed in red, hanging from one of the wooden beams that crossed the room, with a noose around her neck, old, dried blood was staining the floor beneath her. The smell of old blood went up into Axis's nose, and he flinched. He scrunched up his nose in disgust, then examined her more. There was multiple bite marks, and some flesh seemed to be torn away. Even with the flesh being torn away, he could clearly see that she had been hanging for a long time. She was nearly a skeleton. 'Holy ********> Axis thought as he looked at this woman. He slowly crept forward, and looked down beneath her rotting flesh. There sat a piece of paper, which he leaned down and picked it up. He began to try and read it, but kept flipping the page around, trying to make sense of the language these people spoke. The letter read...
"Dear My Beloved Sandra,
I'm sorry I wasn't able to keep our promise. I'm sorry these zombies have ruined our family just as we finally were able to be at piece with each other. I sit here, in my attic, writing my final words. Whatever those...things were followed me into the house, and I escaped into the attic. Good thing those...things down know how to pull a thread. What a bunch of idiots. My flesh is torn, my blood flows, and I know I too will become like those things screeching at me from below soon. But I refuse to do that. Only now, in death, do I realize that if I was finally given a choice, and I choose to be free. I choose to die at my own hands, rather than something that's not even human anymore. Tell our family I love them, give them my best of wishes in this new, cruel world. People will no long be the humans they once where. They will become savages, cruel, merciless, and unforgiving. This is the world you live in now. I'm just glad, out of all our family, I'm the only one able to escape this hell, abandon this thing we once called Society, and finally spread my wings and take to the sky. My only regret, was I never told Dakota just how much I love him. I can only hope he survives. And with this noose around my neck, I wish you all the best. When you're lost in the darkness, look for the light. Believe in the Fireflies.
~Lizzy."
The note read. Axis raised an eyebrow, surely someone could read it. But after all, he couldn't, so he left it where it was. But then something caught his eyes. It looked like the metal thing he found before. He smiled, and walked over to them. There was three, and a little black bag next to them. He picked up one, as it looked to be able to fit in his hand. Bingo, he found three more guns! Two of which were hand held, and one was a long gun. He was able to attach one of the long guns to his back pack, then put the other two in his backpack. He found the Shorty gun, the EI Diablo, and a Shotgun. He had found two reloads for the Shorty, two and half reloads for the EI Diablo, and two reloads for the Shotgun. This was great. He smiled to himself, and then went on to the next house.
He walked down the stairs of the attic, and out of a window on the main floor. He crept around the side of the house, and towards the back door. But unlike the first house, both doors was lock. Axis cursed to himself, before walking up to the main floor window. It was already smashed, so getting in was easy. Just like before, he pushed his back against the door frame, and then listened. Soon enough, he hear nothing.

Edward Chitan, True Metal
Edward checked around the kitchen, finding nothing of use, or that wasn't redudent to what he had already found. He stepped in deeper, listening carefully and sticking through the shadows. He would make his way from room to room, finding nothing of interest, until he came to the main bedroom. He slowly opened the door and stepped in. He saw two humanoid figures, but no movement. Both were laying on the ground, clearly dead, it seemed. He stepped into the room, moving to the window and pulling the curtains away. There was a man and a woman on the ground, each in a decrepit and visible damaged state. They were both on their backs. The man lay near the bed, with a series of small holes in his chest, as if torn though by several small spears. And in the wall where he would have stood, there were also several holes, at similar positions to those in the man's body. In his hand, limply, was an oddly Japanese weapon, a Kusarigama. It was a weapon he was familiar with. Most people from this dimesion, though, unknown to him. would find it out of place. It was a small scythe and handle, connected by chain to a large metal weight, meant to behave as a close to mid-range weapon and act as both a cutting and blunt weapon, as well as a significant defensive weapon. The chain, closest to the weighted end, lay in his hand. Near the door of the room was the woman, carrying a revolver in her hand. It was something, Edward didn't recognize, though. It looked almost similar to that object Axis had found. The scythe of the chain-weapon was embedded in the woman's throat. Edward would slowly step towards them, looking them over inquisitively. He pulled his backpack in front of him and opened it, setting it on the floor. He moved to the man, gripping his weapon and pulling it from his limp grasp, before carrying the weighted end to the woman and pulling the scythe from her. He folded the weapon up as neatly as he could and set it in his pack. He moved back to the woman, picking up the revolver, opening it and examining it. It held a trigger not unlike that of a crossbow. And it had a rotating chamber and some kind of striker. Inside the chamber were six holes, three of which contained small cylingrical cartridges. These were of course bullets, not that Edward would know. He knew he would had to test this thing out, himself, but judging from the state of the man behind him, this object must have packed a punch. There was no sign, after all, of another weapon that did this to the man on her person, and the holes were small enough to be caused by the cartridges if they could be launched somehow. Frankly, Edward didn't see how the tiny striker could launch the cartridges to its target all by itself. There must have been something to it. He searched the woman, finding some more bullets on her person, for a total of 12 rounds. Setting it and the bullets in his pack, he lifted it up, finding it just a bit heavier. He would quickly make his way to the exit, before moving to the house next door. (2x) 15917 cp Spendable cp: 5389 Words: 558 reserved cp:59

☠ Axis was wondering, looking and scouting. The walls were a light tan color, as the rooms were oddly round. The house overall was round. As he continued through the house, he soon learned that some wealthy family had once lived here. The furniture that was still hanging about was big, luxurious, and obviously expensive. Way too rich for Axis's blood. But that didn't stop him from looting the house. The plants inside the house was withering and dying away, made him cringe from the smell of compost. But little did he know, this place was packed full of stuff. As always, he looked through every room. Starting with the kitchen.
Once he ventured deeper into the kitchen, he smiled once he saw the pantry was completely intact. And by that, it looks like nobody had touched it in ages. Axis walked over, and opened the door, to discover the pantry was over flowing with canned food. Not only that, but there was a long, yellow thing in a small package, labeled 'Twinkies' but Axis couldn't read it. He just took it because it was yellow and squishy. He also took two cans of beans. He couldn't take all of it, or else his backpack would get heavy and he would be less effective, and would get tired rather easily. But ether way, he had 5 cans of stuff now. Once he found he was finished with whatever it was he wanted, he moved onto the next room, the living room.
Nothing in particular grabbed is attention, except a small little piece of paper. It was labeled with number, three simple digits. He had a feeling this was of great importance, so he stuffed them into his pocket, and began to descend deeper into the house.
He then went into the master bedroom, and soon he saw something that did catch his attention. There was a leather piece of something sitting on top of the bed. It was some sort of leathery strap that attached to his waist. The curious blue eyes boy walked over to it, and grabbed it. He looked it up and down, and soon realized, he could wear it. He placed it around his waist, but there was a holder of some kind on his hip. It was strange to him, and he couldn't figure out whether something needed to go into that holder, or there was something missing. But after looking at it long enough, he realized that the weapon he found before could fit inside that little thing. So he did the next best thing. He took out the pistol gun, and shoved it into the holster. It fit nicely on his hip, and would be very effective if he needed to pull it out rather quickly. He smiled, then nodded, swinging his bag onto his back. Once he was ready, he went deeper into the house.
Now, he stood in the attic, looking over all these crates and whatnot, only to find there was nothing of use up there. All there was, was empty crates. He gave a sigh, then was about to turn away, when something shined out of the corner of his eye. 'What the hell was that?' He asked himself when he turned towards it. It was black, like the night, and had some sort of dial on the front door. It was a safe! Axis cautiously walked towards it, and then keeled down in front of it to get a better view. Sure enough, it was a safe. But the dial was a little off. It was rusted, and was clearly under some stress. Taking a look at the number, he began to wonder what these meant. It took him a while, but sure enough, he place two and two together. He pulled out that little piece of paper out of his pocket, and began to follow the numbers he had saw on them. After many attempts, he managed to open the safe. Inside, was one hundred spare part! 'Holy s**t, I hit the mother load.' Axis smiled again, proud of his find. He grinned, then turned and grabbed the bag out of his backpack, then placed the spare parts inside. He wondered why he was collecting those, but he just knew they would be useful for something.
He didn't dwell on those kinds of matters, instead, he pulled his backpack over his shoulder, and began his way over to the next house. Once he did, he broke the backdoor on accident, and then walked into the kitchen. He bent down behind the little island in the middle of the kitchen, and began to listen. He needed to find some sort of melee weapon, and hopefully sometime soon.

Edward Chitan, True Metal
Edward approached the door, lightly gripping the handle. He smiled lightly, finding the door was unlocked. He slowly pulled it open and coughed lightly as a wave of dust hit him. He waved his hand lightly to clear it and stepped through. he grabbed one of his knives and began to cut through the spiderwebs. Just like the other places he had been to, this area looked rather filthy. He began once again in the kitchen, and, naturally, found it deserted. Not a single scrap of food could be found. Aside from that, there were no useful utensils. Not even a spoon could be found. He sighed at the pointlessness. He moved on into the other parts of the house. He passed the living room and turned his gaze to a strange painting on the wall. It displayed a wasteland, set with a melted clock hanging off a dead tree. This world, whatever it was, was truly strange. He turned, shaking his head, and glanced to the TV, which was much larger then the screen most people used. Then again, there wasn't nearly that much demand for TV. People were mostly busy going about their work and lives and rarely took the time or had an interest in just sitting down. Seeing nothing interesting around him, he headed to the stairs and carefully made his way up. He kept his ears sharp and listened, but again, there was still no sign of anything threatening or even non-threatening. Not that he assumed there would be anyone here, given the lack of resources. He reached the top of the stairs there and would move straight down the hallway. He opened the door the main bedroom and entered. The place looked rather empty, like the rest of the house. He looked in and behind the cabinets and even under the bed. However, there seemed nothing to be found. He opened the closet then, finding a shoebox hidden at the edge, under several open ones. He opened this as well, was surprised, as he found a picture. It was of three people. He could only assume they were a couple and their daughter who had lived in this place. Set below it, were 6 rounds. They looked just like the bullets he had found with the revolver. He could only assume they went to the same object. He was correct, of course. He gathered them up, placing them in his pocket, and decided to put the photo in his backpack. From there he began to look through more of the house. He would ultimately find nothing else, and eventually just gave up and moved on. He went downstairs and headed to the door. He frowned, rather bored as he opened it, and left it open behind him. He headed straight to the next house, hoping to find something more interesting. (2x)

☠ Axis looked around the house, it was very modern looking compared to the other house he looted. It was a drastic change from the expensive house, to the middle class family owned house. The furniture was nice, but not as luxurious as the other house. But, that didn't matter to him, all he needed was find food, weapons, spare parts, ammo, maybe clothes and such. Axis gave a small sigh, then looked into the kitchen. So far, these houses has been forgiving to him, and letting him loot them with hardly any trouble. That was a good thing, but he also wondered when their luck ran out. He gave a small sigh, then turned to look into the kitchen.
The kitchen was nice, but the tile floor was a little troubling. The tiles made his foot steps seem twice more louder, which could alert some creatures to his position, which is not something he wanted. He gave a frown, then snuck over to the pantry, opened it and hopes for the best. There was sitting two cans of chicken noodle soup. From the illustration, he could pick up the fact that it was some sort of soup, which he knew would come in use. But, he also knew the nights would be cold, so he began to look throughout the house, for some sort of small blanket.
Once he was in the master bedroom, he took a look inside one of the drawers, and found something of equal importance. Sure enough, he found ammo, the one thing he wasn't sure about. But whether or not he liked, he picked it up and placed it into his bag. He smiled, he now had 3 reloads for the Shorty, 3 reloads for the El Diablo, 3 reloads for the Shotgun, and 2 cans of chicken noodle soup. He grinned. So far, they were getting good at this looting business. But, he was still looking for something.
After scouting the whole area of any sort of food or weapons, he came to the bathroom. Whoever was in the bathroom last made a large mess. There was broken glass on the floor, the window smashed, the shower curtains had been ripped off, there was blood almost everywhere. The cupboards were all open, and stuff was spread all across the floor. But that's not what caught his attention. It was the long piece of wood, bent back with a string that caught his attention. He smirked to himself, what a lucky find. He walked over it, stepping over the blood, and grabbed it. He looked at it, tested the string, then nodded. He attached it to his backpack so he can draw it quickly.
And that's not all. He also saw 6 arrows laying on the ground. He smiled, then grabbed those two, placing them in his backpack, but making sure they poked out so he could draw them quickly. But he still didn't find what he was looking for. Glancing on the counter, he noticed 25 more spares, took them and then placed them with the others. Now he carried 150 spare parts, most of them screws and small little blades. Maybe they could be of some use. He grinned to himself, then turned and walked away.
After one more sweep through the house, he walked over to see a small blanket hanging on the back of one of the doors. Bingo, he found it. Once h unhooked her, he folded it neatly, then placed it in his bag, he would need this.

Edward moved to the next house. As he approached the front door, he would find it ajar. At the very least he wouldn't have to open it himself He entered it without caution, having not seen any of those things for awhile now, and having not had any real altercations in doors. He was under the impression that these creatures wouldn't be able to navigate themselves inside. He would enter the building and begin searching around. He moved into the living room, opening up a cabinet. He would start ruffling through the old books and other objects. Meanwhile a clicker, one of four within, would hear the sounds. It would be drawn to the noise, trying to navigate its way to potential prey. Edward stopped in his tracks as he heard the signature click. He turned slowly, with wide eyes, as the creature drew near, echo-locating to get in close. Edward tried to remain slow and as still as he could, reaching for a weapon in his pocket. However, the creature noticed him and gave a shriek. Others could be heard drawing near, following the sound. Edward turned and rushed towards the door quickly. The clicker would chase after him, soon joined by the others. Edward fly passed the open door, closing it behind him. The creatures would shriek, slamming against the door. In moments, it began to crack. Edward backed away slowly, grabbing the strange metal device and raising it so the barrel was pointing towards the door. There were six cartriges embedded in the chambers. He waited with heavy breathe, hints of fear on his face as he waited on the creatures. He felt so powerless without his ninja abilities. It was irritating, to say the least. This was what it was like, truly, to feel vulnerable. A hole was suddenly smashed through the center of the door, large enough for a creature's face to be visible as it clicked and screeched at him. Edward took a deep breathe, aimed, and pulled the trigger. The hammer of the gun struck the cartridge in the chamber and a small explosion went off. The gun kicked back from it, nearly knocking Edward off his feet in surprise. But before him, he saw, there was now a hole in the face of the creature, and it soon slumped against the door and slid down. The door was beginning to give as the other three creatures clawed and slammed against the wooden barrier. (2x)
Hidden Fragment- Bursting, Passed Over, Aqua Field Kawari continued to cry out, a shrill warbling shriek that was sustained far longer than any living being could manage. Her form continued to thrash and rage, arms spasming and lashing out with abandon. Her feet, too, and even her head. She was fighting like someone possessed. For all intents and purposes, that was precisely what she was. She was possessed by a spirit of anger. Her berserk state was an ultimate failsafe, one that would protect her when everything else had failed. When she couldn't afford the luxury of worrying about such inconsequential matters as innocent bystanders or even her own condition. If she lived, she could be repaired. Everything else was unimportant. So she had surrendered completely to the frenzy. Up until this point, she had never been in the berserk state for such a long period of time. It wasn't safe. Disregarding entire sections of her coding, the extremely abbreviated coding that guided her actions now boasted no protections, no measures to stop herself from doing more damage to herself than her opponent. As such, the odd changes that had begun manifesting on her slender frame were by no means intentional. At least, not intentional by any shred of her normal programming. The logarithms that had shaped the berserk state, however, thought they were wonderfully effective. The changes were painful, but her screaming could have been just as much due to rage at being restrained. All the same, seeing artificial muscle fibers bunch and split under the skin of her arms and legs was disconcerting, to say the least. Even more drastic were the changes that occurred to her back and face. Several spots on her back bulged rhythmically. After a few moments, the synthetic skin would rupture, allowing a sextet of glowing control rods to jut out. It was unlikely that they were actually control rods, that was just what they looked like. A dark red liquid slowly ran down her back and onto the ground, staining her dress with a handful of scarlet flowers. At the same time, her screaming had continued unabated. Her jaw opened wider, the skin of her cheeks soon ripping unevenly so her jaw could open even wider. Sharp spikes of metal jutted from suddenly bloody gums, haphazard fangs that transformed her mouth into something savage and bestial. It was these changes that she was bringing to bear against the monstrosity holding her down. At least until it let her go. She instantly moved to rush it once more, but was intercepted by GeininX. To be precise, a copy of GeininX. But she had no way of knowing that. Nor did it matter. She instantly changed her focus to it, to weathering the storm of its punches and kicks. She made no move to defend herself; instead she attacked with utter ferocity. Her reactions were fast, as fast as ever. But they were sloppy, unskilled. Not any less lethal, though. And for each punch or kick that GeininX seemed to throw at her, she would reply with a strike of her own. Normally, attacking with such ferocity was likely to overcome any single opponent. But she was far from normal at the moment. She was instinct. So whenever a Gomora got between her and GeininX, she would switch her focus to it, attacking it with her all. Even if it was one of the Gomora that were immune to standard attacks. She only returned to attacking GeininX when he attacked her, and diverted her attention back to himself. With so many foes, it seemed possible for her to simply be overwhelmed. But she wouldn’t stop fighting because of something as unimportant as logic. She would only stop when she was finally rendered unable to continue. Noze had frozen when she saw GeininX raise his hand. Was he going to signal for his protector to attack her? She sighed with relief when it seemed to be the opposite. It seemed he hadn't surrendered to the same battle lust that had swallowed up Kawari. Maybe there was hope yet. "Do you think you can stop her?" She didn't say whether she meant simply stopping her, or actually finishing her off. She wasn't sure she wanted to know which one GeininX would think she meant. She had no idea that Kawari had such a savage side to her. She had seemed perfectly logical, coldly efficient, when she first met her. That was why she had made the offer, a soldier who wouldn’t go out of control was a valuable weapon. But now... Now she wasn't sure if Kawari could even return to how she had been before. Edward Chitan, True Metal
Edward would quickly back away, acting to get some distance. He was stunned by the shear power in this weapon, but had little time to think about it as the creatures broke through. He would quickly pull back as they gained on him, trying to get a good aim. Then, suddenly, there was a loud bang, as two of the clickers had been splattered by Axis' gun. This was significantly larger then their previous ones. Edward didn't have time to admire the handiwork, as the last clicker reached him, knocking him to the ground as it moved in to bite him. He strugged as it clawed at him. Edward punched it, which only momentarily stunned it before it continued the attack. The air from it reeked of blood and decay. He could see fully now, the disgusting face, covered in some strange yellow and orange filth. The eyes were all but invisible below it all. In it's shrieking, clicking and snapping mouth were rows of jagged, yellow teeth. Edward desperately raised the gun into the creature's mouth. The creature slobbered over it as it bit at him. His a heavy breathe, he pulled the trigger. The bullet left a great hole out the back of the creature's neck and head. It slumped and Edward pushed it off. He was left there, breathing heavily, blood and gore all around him. He turned his gaze to Axis, frowning as he slowly moved to his feet. He had a few scratches on him, but he wasn't majorly wounded. He looked over their guns, wondering now to Axis, despite the near-death experience, "What they hell are these things?" He stepped towards Axis now, shaking his head. "Perhaps its best we stick together for now. Who knows what we'll find as we keep moving through this place."(2x)
And who do you think you are Running around leaving scars Collecting your jar of hearts And tearing love apart,
You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul So don't come back for me. Who do you think you are?
And it took so long just to feel alright Remember how to put back the light in my eyes I wish I had missed the first time that we kissed Cause you broke all your promises
You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul So don't come back for me. Who do you think you are?
☠ Axis looked over to Edward when he said something to him, but now was not the time for conversation, not with a bunch of clickers on the way. Axis frowned, the reached down, grabbed Edward by the shoulder, and lifted him up. He sighed slightly, then looked around. There was another house, away from this one. He almost literally threw Edward in the direction of the next house.
"Go into that house, and wait for me in the attic." He ordered while turning back to the oncoming clickers. Axis glared at them, before lifting up his shot gun. There was one more ready bullet, and Axis aimed it, and shot, taking down two more clickers. Axis sighed, then placed his gun back onto his back pack. He ran into the house Edward had be detected in, and looked for something he could throw. Once he located a brick, he aimed, then threw it through a window. Once the clickers heard that, they moved to go after it.
At that moment, Axis was free to finally get to the next house over. He climbed up onto the roof, and climbed through a window, and into the attic Edward was waiting for him. He sighed, and looked down to Edward.
"Well, Fruit Tart. You blew it." He said while crossing his arms. But, something red caught his attention. It was a little notebook. It seems like something was written inside. Axis sat down next to the box it was on, and began to read through it.
'It was a very nice night. One where the stars shone brightly, the moon was full, the wind blew only slightly, the forest sang, as there was no traffic at all on the freeway. All except one. One lonely car was driving up the long, black highway of Route 401 on a very long Saturday. But inside the vehicle was a different story. The pair of teen were laughing away, singing the songs they heard on the radio, simply telling each other jokes and stories. The passenger was too young to drive, but the driver was just a little bit over her age, just old enough to drive without an adult. The driver was obeying the rules, keeping within the lines, staying on her side of the road. All the while her friend was laughing at a statement she had just said.
"Oh, Betty. I swear, one of these days you will kill me from making me laugh so much." The passenger said.
"Well, I guess it's only appropriate that I dress as a clone for your funeral." Betty said. She smiled at herself, feeling rather light, happy. Like she always did when she was with her best friend, Raven. The windows of the front seats were opened all the way, letting the wind rush past their faces. The scent of pine was wafting up into their nostrils, while their hair whipped across their faces. Just as Betty turned the car around the bend, someone appeared into their headlights.
"Betty! Watch it!" Raven screamed as Betty's foot lashed out, kicking the brake pedal with all her might, while turning the circular wheel to the left. The car jerked, as both woman lurched forward, but then slammed back into their seats with the car jerked forward. Both girl screamed, while Betty tried to gain control over the metal beast again. The steering wheel locked, preventing the raven-haired girl from turned right to avoid the cement dividers between the traffic. The headlight of the car slammed into the cement, causing the car to spiral out of control. The car kept spinning. Once. Twice. Three time. Till finally, it flipped over just as many times before rolling into the ditch. Both woman were screaming the entire time. The windshield cracked and broke, glass scattering over the girls, cutting them nearly to shreds. The metal of the car broke loose, getting one of the girls in the side, and holding her up against the door of the car. Once the car finished spinning out, the car ended up on it's side, propped up against a rather thick tree. The only thing Betty can remember was laying on glass, feeling this warm liquid leak onto her face, and the soothing light of fire dancing across her darkening vision.
Chapter 2
Raven woke up with a jerk. But instantly closed her eyes as the world around her was much too bright. There was lights on, the whole room was white, almost like the very sun was in her face. There was a loud noise right next to her, almost like a constant beeping. As the lightly brown brunette took in the area around her, she soon realized this was not where she had fallen asleep the previous night.
Everyone was laughing, joking, messing around with each other. But everyone was having a good time. The air smelt of freshly cooked ravioli, and marinara sauce to go with. Forks scratching across plates could be heard amongst the snickering and giggles, as well as the group of friends expressing their enjoyment over their evening meal. There was over fifteen people present at the dinner, so some sat in the living room, judging and criticizing the commercials they saw on TV. The two best friends had been in the dining room, discussing a trip their group of friends would take to the fair. It was opening weekend after all.
"Why don't we all pitch in our own fairs, and the ones that are willing to help pay for those of us that don't have that much money to spend can help out too. I, for one, am willing to help you any of you. But be prepared to be my servant for a day!" Betty joked while the rest of her friends laughed along with her. They all agreed, nodding and eating the pasta prepared. They all would meet at the fair, and have the best days of their lives.
Raven smiled at her memory. Her friends were there for her, to hold her hand, to beat up anyone who looked at her wrong. She was in a moment of bliss. But then, it hit her.
"Betty...?" Raven called out into the flaming inferno. The car was completely totaled, held up on it's side. Raven hung from her seat belt, while Betty was seen laying on her side, with half of door frame speared through her torso. Blood was everywhere, but that wasn't the worst of it. A large chunk of Betty's flesh was hanging off the metal spear. And to make matters worst, it was on fire. The gas and oil that leaked from the car was mixing with Betty's blood. Even if she was able to somehow get up and limp away, the oil and fire would follow. Raven's chocolate brown eyes locked onto Betty's near black ones, before Betty smiled to her.
"Do you remember where we're suppose to meet our friends at for the fair?" Betty asked in the most innocent and angelic voice. She reached a lightly tan hand up towards Raven to give her a high five, as Raven reached out a tan hand to grab hers, but it soon fell back to the ground. Her eyes slowly closed shut, almost like she fell into a deep sleep. Raven struggled from the seat belt holding her against her will. She screamed, she cried, she tried to helplessly reach out to her friend, but in her mad thrash, she too had blacked out.
Raven gasped as she frantically began to rip cords from her arm. She took all the wires off her, while nurses began to flood into the room, order Raven to get back onto the pure white bed. The room and furniture was too white for her liking. Raven pushed the nurses out of the way, and frantically hobbled out of the room and into the hall. Her legs hurt, her arms hurt, every where in the body she could feel pain. But her goal was to get to her friend. And she wouldn't stop until she was within her sight. As soon as Raven got down the end of the hall, she was cornered by two doctors, and one security guard. They too told Raven the risks of walking around after she just woke up, but she shook her head, tears streaming from her eyes.
"Betty! Take me to her!" She screamed in their faces, her face molded into one of complete despair and desperation. The doctors soon obeyed her wishes, and led her to the Critical Condition Ward. Raven wasted little time getting to the end of the hall, and into the room to the left. As soon as she got into room, she wished she didn't. There was her best friend, hooked up to so many wires and tubes, that it looked like they were about to surgery on her. There was one large tube going down her throat, along with three small ones, two I.Vs were connected to her arm, while many things connected to the rest of her body. Raven's tears fell even harder, as she desperately rushed to her friend's side. She cried out her name, she tried to awaken her, jolting her body, asking Betty to open her eyes. After a couple moments, her eye lids did shift, and soon they opened.
"Oh...Raven..." Betty said in a very weak voice. "...You haven't... answered my question." Betty said with a smile. Raven cried, and leaned her head down, placing her forehead on her shoulder. Relief washed over Raven, as she was glad to hear Betty's sweet voice. Once she stopped sniffling and hiccuping, Raven looked up to Betty's face.
"The front gate. We're to meet them at the front gate. But screw our friends for a couple of minutes. Let's talk about us. Remember the time with the wish chip?" She asked while recalling that memorable moment.
The two of them were just barely the age of 6 and 7. They sat, side by side, on the carpet of Raven's bedroom floor. There, they ate in silence, munching on some Lay's salt and vinegar chip. Betty laid down, with a banana in her hand. Raven sat so close to her elder friend that their thighs were touching. It was a comfortable silence, as nether of them had anything to talk about. They room was lit with the morning sunshine, while the tree scraped against the window in the breeze. Raven was excited when she got to the last chip, and not only that, but it was folded over in on itself. A wish chip! Raven held it out for her friend beside her to see, and held it high enough for it to be within her eye sigh.
"Look, Betty! The last wish chip!" She exclaimed. Betty suddenly sat up to her friend's request, but instantly regretted the choice and soon fell back down onto the carpet holding her left eye. When the raven-haired girl sat up, she had gotten Raven's wish chip to her eye. Betty moaned in pain from the debris from the salt and vinegar chips went directly into her eye. All the while Raven was sitting there, sniffling from the broken wish chip sitting in her friend's lap.
"My wish chip!"
Raven was once again lost in the memory of her own life. But as she zoned out, smiling at the memory of the two of them, she was pulled back to reality when Betty spoke to her in a barely audible voice.
"Remember, Raven. 4:30... at the main...gate..." Betty whispered as the constant beeping of the machine became a dull whine. Raven's eyes went big once she saw the look on her friend's eyes. There was tears slightly streaming from them, as they stared off into the empty void. The dark brown eyes that had once flourished with so much life, with so much happiness and wonder were dull, colorless, lost. Raven hiccuped again, then sniffled, and finally let out an ear splitting scream. One so loud, both doctors and nurses from almost every direction rushed to the room. Betty's life was lost, she was dead, and finally colder than ice. Raven screamed and cried, her eyes turning red, her throat becoming raw. The nurses tried to calm her down, but her endless sadness with never see soothed.
Chapter 3
It's been a while, hasn't it? I haven't written in you for a long time, and it's about time I did. So much as change, I've changed so much, everyone has. After... her death, nothing has ever been the same. I've never truly figured out how much we all needed her till she was finally gone. I've grown so much in the last four years. I have a boyfriend, I have a good paying job, I'm in school. I have all the things she should have. I've grown lost, but yet, I somehow know where I am. But... I need to remember it. At least... just one more time.
It was a nice night, and we both were riding in her great black Mercedes car she had gotten recently. She knew how to drive, I didn't. But hey, at least one of us knew what we were doing. It was dark, but hey, there was only us out here, so we were fine, right? I continued to joke with her, mess around, goof off, we just did what he always did when we were together. No harm in that. Wrong! I had been telling her about about this guy I had seen, and had even gotten a picture of him. I showed it to her, and she had made a comment on how he looked like the Incredible Hulk. Of course, me being me, I laughed. And just as we got about that one bend in the road, a man had jumped out in front of us. Apparently he wanted to die, because it was clear he jumped. I could see him leap from the side of the road right in front of us. I screamed at Betty to stop, but then the car chose now to suddenly lock up on us, trying to keep us safe. But the ******** air bags didn't deploy like they were suppose to. First, we spun out, then we began to flip. All I remember was screaming and screaming, then finally coming to a stop. I remember the smell of gas and rubber burning so well, almost like I standing right there again. I remember seeing her face, as she laid there and bled to death. I remember her asking me about our fair trip, and them falling asleep. What the hell? I don't remember much from there ether. But once I woke up in the Hospital, I remembered everything. The locals that pulled out out of the car, the man we killed by rolling over top of him, everything. But I'll never forget that way she looked at me when she told me to go to the front gate and wait. I'll never forget. It's engraved on my mind. I just couldn't ever forget her. Not her. Not ever.
So, it's time for me to move on with my life. I have to move on. Betty isn't with us anymore, we have to start picking up our own weight. It's time to me to make the right decisions, and make her proud.'
Axis raised an eyebrow, what a sad story. He placed the little book down on the crate next to him, then looked at the little Fruit Tart.
"We're going to have to wait here while those things leave the area. It's a bit too dangerous to go out there."

Edward got up with a sigh, with Axis' help. He cursed under his breathe as he was thrown. He turned and. The sounds of other clickers approaching the area was clear in the air. He quickly pulled himself together, got to his feet, and began to run. He headed straight towards the house that Axis threw him towards. He would look back, seeing as Axis would shoot at the clickers with the shotgun, before using a rock to distract them. Edward would get inside and head straight into the attic. He would sit down, looking it over as he waited for Axis to arrive. The young man would enter a minute or so later. He hadn't expected him to climb in through the window, but he supposed that worked. Edward glared at Axis with his statement. "Shut the hell up, dipstick!" Soon enough Axis had promptly found an old notebook, that looked like someone's journal. Edward leaned back, looking himself over. There were a few scratches on his arms, but nothing too dangerous. Once Axis stopped reading and gave his plan, Edward gave a sigh, frowning. "That sounds incredibly boring." He said allowed, almost as a whine. Seeing there was not much else to do, he took out the gun and looked at it. He examined the structure and tried to figure how it was working exactly. Two rounds had been fired, and the gun still smelled a little like black powder. He opened up the chambers and looked into them. The ends of two of them had been pressed in, and on the others side, the tips of the bullets were missing. So that was what had happened. The cartridges contain black powder or something like that. The little hammer thing here hits the middle part of the cartridge, pushing it in, and causing whatever is inside to go off, perhaps through an internal spark or some other kind of chemical reaction. This sets off the explosive, and the front part here is attached to the rest of the cartridge, but will detach when triggered. The explosion will send the tip flying from it. But, given the amount of speed it held and the damage it did, there must be something else. He looked to the barrel, thinking it over. There was a small amount of smoke and gas released from the gun moments after I had fired it, even as it had jerked in my hand. Perhaps, the barrel helps propel it by keeping the gases inside trapped as they push the tip out, applying more and more force to it until it leaves the barrel completely. He ran this idea through his head before putting it away. Maybe coming here had been worth it. If he could replicate this effect in the ninja world and maybe combine it with ninjutsu, he could produce some very powerful weapons. As well as the power behind it, the bullet had moved so fast, Edward couldn't see it in the slightest. He would have to see about accuracy, but that seemed doable. He stood up and began to explore the attic, looking around for maybe something useful. He opened some boxes, and found an old, long since abandoned photo album. He perked up and opened it. He would take a seat again, and start to flip through it. Among was a girl, her family, and another girl who didn't seem related to her. They were friends perhaps. There was an interesting picture of the girls sitting in one of those metal carts. There was a key inserted into an opening the dash board, and there were several dials, buttons, and lights on it. The windows were partially down, indicating the ability to move them. It had been hinted at by there nature, but this seemed to confirm these strange objects were used as a form of transport. Who could tell how they worked exactly. He could guess some sort of electricity or fuel. Maybe it had an engine similar to those used by steam-boats. He was aware of them due to their existence in the ninja world, unlike cars. There were so many questions to ask, including how things became this way. But most important in Edward's mind, was how would they return. How would they get back to their world, to their home, to their life.(2x)
Indeed the chance of the spear striking so true where slim to none, but it was right there sticking to a marble pillar still. Aside that there were now the six 'Eudora' that needed to be dealt with. The image of the woman stepped to the side as the rock was cast at her. "Now. Now. Ku-chan. You should know that isn't how you play this game." All six would say in unison while waggling a finger at the young looking angel. All six of the Eudora step in a bit closer before speaking in unison once more, "Though I will forgive you, seeing as I transgressed in our game of tag." Each of the images of the Spartan woman smile down to the childlike girl. It was her own fault for trying to tackle such a simple game with the violence of the ninja, and if possible, Eudora would choose to endear herself to this divine spirit though tactic and wit. Honestly a more Athenian way of thinking over her usual Spartan one.

Oasis walked along the side of the volcano, looking over into the area of which was lava. She smiled to herself, this would make the most loveliest incinerators there ever was. Maybe she could throw people she didn't like into them. With a small laugh, she turned and walked around the entrance of the volcano again. She wasn't here to take over the volcano. Oh no, she wasn't here for only the volcano. She was here for the Federation. Apparently there was some Hyuuga woman in power over the federation once the Joker went missing, and resigned from his chair over it. Oasis was bored, and she wanted some sort of fun. 'Maybe this can bring some light into my life. Hopefully she finds me soon' Oasis thought at she looked over the smaller villages that made up the federation. Soon enough, she might be the new ruler over them.
"Listen up! I'm here to take over, and anyone who dares to appose me will be thrown into this volcano!" Oasis shouted over the federation, then sat back and waited for the Hyuuga to get here and die.
