Ixilin

Damn, shes a lycan!
He cast the spell he had prepared under his breath, it sent a shickwave outward from his core with enough force to rattle cars twenty meters away. The shockwave may bot have been enough so he also created an illusion inside the lycan's mind. He made her believe that she was in front of that orphanage with the red door and green shutters, he found the image in her mind and used it against her.

-Fae roared out as the shockwave hit her and she was thrown slightly off of him. She sudenlly began to feel around her as she saw the orphanage. She knew this was his doing. She wasn't able to see, so how could she see this. She was fortunate enough to hear and smell him. She growled and listened carefully, mostly listening for his gun. She did not want to be shot, specially with a Silver Nitrate bullet. She put herself low to the ground, her ears perked forward and she constantly sniffed about her, tapping a claw on the ground.-

"You're illusion's wont work when I can't see."

-She growled softly, running a clawed paw over her empty eye sockets.-

She was quite right in her statement, but the illusion had put her off guard long enough for Ixilin to get out "The Nine Gates of the Shadow", his most dangerous weapon. He knew the lycan would dodge his bullets as soon as he fired. This particular one seemed to have an accute sense of hearing and smell, probably due to the lack of eyes.
He began chanting an incantation quickly, knowing she would be up on her feet and lunging for his throat any second.
He whispered the last word of the incantation, and suddenly the ground leapt up at the lycan's feet, tendrils of flame attempting to wind round her body and hold her still while he might put a bullet in her brain.

-Fae roared out and snapped at the tendrils. She leaped to her right and clung onto the brick wall, growling down to the hunter. She snapped at the tendrils, but some got around her neck and paws, trying to bring her to the ground. She fell the ground and clawed at them, moving here and there, not staying in the same place at all. She continued to snap at the flames, the ones already on her scorching her skin and getting to her skin. She sudenlly got close to him and bite straight for his leg, trying to bite his leg, hoping to hit skin and definitally bone.-

Ixilin was deep in concentration, preparing another attack with his book when he felt teeth gouge into his lower calf, luckily the last flame tendril, as the spell was dying down, had grabbed the lycan's ankle, and yanked her hard enough to keep her from snapping her jaws shut completely around his leg. The gashes were quite deep though. The sudden interruption in his concentration caused a random wave of pure magic to be released from his mind, slamming into a car and flipping it into the nearby building.

He couldn't quite stand on the bad leg, he quickly pulled out the Glock with the nitrate bullets, balancing his spellbook in his left hand and holding the Glock in his right. He squeezed off two rounds, his ammo dropping from twelve to ten. He had to restart his concentration on his next spell. He worked twice as fast as before, the last word on the tip of his tongue.

-She howled out as the gun fired off. Once bounced off the ground as she jolted her head back and one hit her in the left paw. She howled out in the pain of it. It had shattered in one of the small bones in her hand. She felt the liquid nitrate pulse through her arm. She began to feel weak and whimpered, but she still bared her fangs at the hunter. She stood completely still now as if she had given up, but she hadn't. She was determined to get loose.-

Ixilin's flame tendril spell was beginning to wear off, the flames receding back into the earth. He finished the final incantation of the new spell as soon as the final tendril released the lycan. On the last work of the incantation silver pikes similar to the ones used by Vlad the Impaler shot three or four feet out of the ground in varying radii from Ixilin. They would slow the lycans approach and allow him to get a few more shots off with his gun. His leg was now bleeding profusely, the pavement stained with a small puddle forming.

-Fae leaped back, though sloppily since she had a terribly wounded leg. The liquid nitrate was slowly going through her parts of her body, making her weaker and weaker. She snarled and snapped her jaws. She then dug her sharper teeth into the wound in her paw, pulling out the bits of metal from the bullet. Though she kept a close ear on the hunter. The wound was healing very slowly because of the nitrate, but it didn't hurt as much now to walk on it. Though she still limped slightly and wasn't as quick. She snarled as she hung her head low, circling around him.-

Ixilin was beginning to feel dizzy, the silver pikes were fading. THe loss of blood was starting to wear on him. He lifted the gun and pointed it at the lycan, firing once, dropping the gun from the recoil. He used his last strength to cast two simple spells. One would heal his leg and allow him to live, the other would harden the air around him making a wall of invisible material between him and danger. The wall boxed him in on all sides, keeping him safe. Knowing his life was not in danger, he allowed his exhaustion to catch up with him, passing out and landing heavily on the pavement, the Nine Gates lying open to the last spell he cast. His gun rattled away from him and stopped against the barrier. He fell into blackness.

((Good battle, you RP well. I must leave unfortunately though. You win this time.))

Kaji looked to either side as he walked to the subway enterance of the Chapterhouse. He wondered if he was still in the system, after the time he was gone, he would be suprised if he was still in there. He walked up to the enterance and placed his hand on the scanner that flipped out from the worn stone wall. He placed his hand on the scanner and a green line ran up and down the screen. A quiet voice said, "Access Denied. Please leave." Kaji sighed as he walked about 20 feet away from it and pulled out his cellphone that the Shadow hunters had and called Tokeru's comminucator. "Come on tokeru, please pick up."

Liora accepted the earplugs without further complaint, shrugging off Tokeru's comment about her race. She'd suspected that he had known, anyway. As always, she suspected that it was her gold-hued eyes that had given her away. At least now she would no longer be incapacitated by those wretched sonic devices; she had to hand it to the hunter: if she were to be an enemy lycan, such equipment would certainly hinder her in a fight. Fortunately for her, she'd eschewed the 'dark side' months ago. Heck, she'd avoided it from the very beginning! A subtle, ironic smile edged across her face as she inserted the plugs into her ears. She was expecting a little distortion from the plugs, but, to her surprise, Liora heard Tokeru's and Feather's words as clearly as she would have without the plugs. Splendid. She could still rely on her sharp hearing despite the plugs. Though she absolutely abhored what she was, Liora had to admit that her race was not exempt from benefits.

"The warehouse, eh? I know we're supposed to go about this 'peacefully', but,in the event of a conflict, let's try to avoid running away this time, mien connaissances."

Her ironic smile gave way to her traditional charming grin, and Liora flashed a wink at her acquaintances. She was still rather sore about their little 'flight' previously, but Liora was smart enough to let such things go. Her grudges were reserved for her enemies alone. Though, Liora could not help but think that the previous event had been a sorry waste of ammo. By the expression on both Tokeru's and Feather's faces, she suspected that she would be paid in full by their little jaunt at the warehouse.

"I second Feather's suggestion; we've tarried too long."

Her eyes gleamed with an expression not unlike Tokeru's, but it had a more sane appearance. Her thirst was for the thrill which came from battles and danger; Liora was a bona fide adrenaline addict, and she'd found that the greatest rush came from being in close proximity with death. By being close to death, one was able to drink the finest from the cup of life, or so Liora reasoned. As one of her favorite poets had once said, "The cup of life is for him that drinks, and not for him that sips".

Tokeru watched Li. He saw her expression and noted that it mirrored his own. He began to wonder what had happened to another one. A woman not unlike the one standing in front of him. A lycan. She shared the same enthusiasm for battle that Li did, and yet she had died oh so easily. Without even a fight. Every time he remembered that moment, he grew somber.

Without letting his exalted expression drop from his face. He made up his mind, to never let another lycan hurt him that way. He shut out all emotions he would ever possibly have for the lycan woman. And turned.

"I never run away from battle that i have been challenged to, remember that." He said, a dark tone in his voice. Suddenly, Tokeru lost his balance and stumbled against a wall.

How dare you even try to disobey me. You are my pawn, and as such you will listen to what I Say

Tokeru brought his hand to his head and whispered under his breath. "You are dead. You can't hurt me anymore. I have your weapon and ring to prove it. You will leave me alone or i will destroy your keepsakes, even if they are useful"

((This'll probably my last post untill late tonight. I give someone permission to use him as an NPC, but no fighting with him. And also please try to keep him in context. He's arrogant, partially insane, and extremely cocky. And he has the right to be, seeing as he killed one of the most powerfull demons that ever walked the earth. Along with thousands of other lycans and vampires.))

((To Ixilin--> Thank you, and same to you. 3nodding I greatly injoyed it. whee Tschuess. Hope to see you soon.))

-Fae whimpered slightly as he shot off a round and she dodged it as quick as she could with her already wounded paw. She watched him collapse, his leg healed and a barrier around him. She growled lightly, knowing that it was no use to try and get past the barrier. She turned and leaped up onto a wall as best as she could. She crawled up onto the roof and disappeared. She came up to Andrea's door, at least she hoped, and scratched along the wall hoping to find the right brick. She couldn't find it and whimpered again, hoping that one of them inside would hear her. She was afraid of being found. She was in no shape to fight. She had to try and get out as much of the liquid nitrate out as fast as she could. She was getting weaker and weaker by the second, thankfully though it was only on bullet and in the paw too. She turned her head around, listening as best as she could, hoping not to be seen by vampire or hunter, or even a demon.-

The sleek black outline of a 68 altered Corvette rode through the streets. Krii'Ouse behind the whell, his lover on his right, and the wind in his hair, he stopped at a red light. 'So, where do you want to eat?' he asked her, kissing her at the red light.

Skiaska was enjoying the wind riding through her black hair when they stopped. She smiled when he kissed her, and she answered hsi question vaguely. "Italian?"

Krii'Ouse smiled. 'Okay, sounds like a deal.' he said, remembering a good Italian place. He turned right, and drove down the street, finding the place. 'Luigi Castiglioni owns this place. I know him pretty well.'

He parked the Krii'Vette, and started to get out. Heading to Ski's door, he put his hand out, letting her grab on.
