Judging seems to be coming in late. Ah well, can't be helped. But as for this "uncivilized" talk: it really can depend on the society as well as the individual's reaction to said society. The downside is, when you have a music genre with a few actually decent songs completely marred over by an image of being "unrefined" because a majority of said genre's songs are repetitive as hell and mimic the same themes.
There's a few songs I like a lot that're considered rap [well, one's a little bit of a cross-genre, but still.] Nothing's wrong with the genre itself; fact, I couldn't give a damn about the ones that degrade people. Why?
A fool can preach to you that the sky & ground is on fire - all you need to do is not let his convictions define your own. My issue is, songs that repeat themselves way too damned much. You see it in nearly every genre of music, but especially a few songs people consider to be rap - you'll hear the same damn line said literally 20+ times in a row before they get to the actual damn song, and then it's half over. Not to mention, you rarely hear the beat in the background ever actually change for a majority of "popular" rap songs.
Exceptions win though.

I find it rather amusing that your getting all bent out of shape over something as trivial as other peoples opinions. It harks back to that image posted by Vintrict a few pages ago I think. What was started by you merely because you disagreed has turned into a verbal battle via internet full of false accusations and unintelligent volleys for what appears to be nothing more than a need for attention. Honestly I see no other purpose for you to continue in your attempt to cow another being via words whom you cannot physically dominate due to the nature of your interaction.
This being the case I would like to agree with Vintrict and say that this childishness would be better off ceased. A verbal war cannot be won and therefore your wasting time and energy on a worthless cause. It would be better to just let the sleeping dog lay and cease the conflict before you exacerbate the situation further. So to make a long story short, please calm down or cease the conflict.
