Asmodai continued to walk around the city. A few punk teenagers made fun of him, imitating Bruce Lee or somethin'. Well let them make fun. He just kept walking. Of course later on the same kids tried to mug him after following him. They were all unconscious in the alley they "dragged him" to. He went willingly, if only to not be seen taking them out. The rest of the walk was pretty dull after though. Peaceful really.

Neko ran through the streets of New York City, racing back to the Hordes. As the animalian Elder ran, she was speaking with the Oni in her mind.
Why didn't you shadow jump?
Didn't think of it, really. Besides, you're going to be leaving soon. If I get too dependent on your powers...well, that'll be bad news for me.
The oni was silent after that, and Neko was as well. She had to get back to the Hordes, but she didn't dare shadow jump now. Too many people about in the streets.
So intent on her running, Neko didn't even notice a person in front of her until she had run right smack dab into them. Backing up to run around them, she looked up to apologize, and instead stopped cold. The hair was different, but it was him.
"A-asmodai?"

He looked up at her, he had been staring down at the ground while he walked. "Hello Catrina." He pulled his scarf down a bit, showing a small smile, his usual show of happiness. Though everything else was different, he still had the same eyes, albeit older looking eyes perhaps.

All thought of where she had been going and had been doing rushed out of her mind, which was now in shock at seeing her fiance again so changed. "What happened?" She asked, curious, but also at the same time joyous beyond anything. The Elder threw her arms around him and kissed him, long and sweet.

Ixilin was walking the streets, alone. A dangerous thing for a human to be doing on a night like this. He could almost feel the night air brimming with a tension that was about ready to break. A war was coming, one that would be bloody and brutal. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes and started packing them against his palm. thwack thwack thwack He packed them in a rhythmic fashion, almost hypnotizing. Once he was sure the tobacco was properly settled, he pulled out one of the cigarettes and put the thing to his mouth. He then pulled out a pack of matches (he hated lighters) and struck one, lighting the area around his face as he lit the cigarette. Through this, one could see his icy blue eyes reflecting the cigarette light back into the dark streets of New York City. He rested his hand on the shouldered bag he always carried with him, its contents were extremely precious and, in the right hands, would be deadly. He continued walking, knowing that being out on a night like tonight trouble would be sure to arrive any minute.

"It's a bit of a tale, my love." He held her close, as though to never be seperated again. "If you have the time now, perhaps we could go somewhere and talk. Though you look like you're in a bit of a rush somewhere. Everything alright?"

"Oh yes...I need to get back to the Hordes." Neko said grudgingly, not wanting to be seperated from him ever again. But she did have her duty to do as an Elder... "Walk with me to the Hordes, and you can explain on the way."

*Lunaris exits the bar, and pulls her scarves about her a little more tightly, wishing idly that they were tinted black, instead of red. She decides to do that when she returns to her home.*
I've gotta hurry back to the apartments so that I can start my search for Saylis.
*Lunaris stops short, when she sees Neko and Asmodai together, blinking twice, before headed down a side street, not wishing to disturb them, and hurrying back home*
At least someone is happy with another...that's good to see

-Fae smiled to him and nodded, standing up.-
"I'm sorry, but I'm going to go out for a stroll. You stay here and rest some more. I'll be back in a bit."
-She smiled and hugged him, then turned and left outside. She walked slowly down the alley ways, her pink hair flowing around her face in the slight breeze. She stopped sudenlly as she heard a rythmic thwack. She smiled as she smelled the cigarrette and the flesh of a human. Slinking around the corner, she leaned agains the wall facing the human, his back to her. She smiled slightly, the edges of the bandages over her eyes crinkling slightly.-

Neko took his arm with a wide smile and they set off. "I hope one of the things we have to catch up on invovles you, me, and a private bedroom." She said, a sly grin on her face. Leaning against him, Neko sighed in contentment. "I've miss you, flame. Will you tell me how this change happened?"

Ixilin stopped on the sidewalk, he had gotten that tingling sensation that meant he was being watched. He used his right hand to unclip the sidebag he carried, and he used his left to thumb the clasps holding his two 9mm Glocks. One was loaded with silver nitrate, the other with UV rounds. Once he knew he could reach his weapons in a blink of an eye he continued walking slowly down the sidewalk.
