You must understand, Connor. The General lies dying right now. Dying because oif an assassination attempt. Commander El returned to Earth to track the assassin.
That means that there is a rogue Kryptonian on your world. He's shown himself to be a danger to our society, and who knows what kind of threat he can be to yours?

We've run into another problem on earth as well. Kal's counterpart from another universe has risen from the grave and Martha Kent, and all the people in smallville.
