Fate stumbled into her apartment. Managing to make it to the sink, she wet a cloth. Pulling down the hood and tieing her hair up, she gently placed it upon her cheek.
Afterwards, she scurried to the windows and shut the blinds. Doing the same in her bedroom, she returned and laid down on the couch. Keeping the rag in place, she sniffed gently. What else could she do right now? Running a finger over her eye, Fate exhaled shortly. Her body relaxed, and her eyes slowly slid shut..

With a start, Fate awoke many hours later. Unsure of why she had been jolted from her rest, she sat up. The, now chilled, cloth fell from her face to the floor with a 'splat'. Blinking, she stood. Quietly, she entered her room. As she glanced towards the window, she could tell it was now sunset. Fate redressed in faded black jeans, black leather women's boots, a maroon midrift sweater, and a black leather women's trenchcoat. Pulling her hair into a tight bun, she turned on her heels and headed for the door. Something was calling her out. Locking the door from the inside, she disappeared for the city.

Appearing outside the apartment door with a limp Lycan in her arms, Fate breathed heavily. Unlocking the door, she hurridly entered. "Silver..poor, sweet Silver.." Lifting him telepathicly once again, she 'carried' him to the bedroom. Resting him on the matress, she sighed deeply. Adujusting the pillows, she stroked his forehead, kissing it lovingly. "I'll be right back."
Scurrying to the next room, she picked up the cloth from her ordeal. Tossing it into the kitchen sink, she dug out a fresh one. Wetting it in luke warm water, she tredded back to the room. She carefully placed it upon his forehead. "Do you need anything? Silver, I intend on sitting here at your bedside until you're well, again." Fate sat on her knees, resting her chin on the edge of the bed.

I had slipped into unconsciousness for a second, but came back when I felt the cloth. "You are so sweet. I am so glad to be able to see you like this." I reached up and gently stroked her cheek, then I let my hand fall back down, the hand itself aching. I felt pain all over my body and I took a damage report. The conslusion wasn't good. I would be okay...but the healing would take a while. "I guess I didn't do too well? Should have fought back a little more." I tried to raise my arm again, but a blast of pain went through it and I winced. "Sorry about putting all this trouble on you..." I said sadly.
(Getting pounded by a really strong lycan would do that I guess? xd )

Fate blushed at being called sweet. Once his arm fell, she took his hand into her own and stroked it lovingly. "Silver, please save your energy. You know I'm here." Dusting him off some, she smiled. "You shall remember that next time, then..I pray." She grinned, a twinge of sadness in her eyes. "Love, I only live if you live." Placing his hand back at his side, she examined him. "Is there anything I can do to make you a bit more comfortable, Silver?" She bit her lip, sighing softly.

I squeezed her hand the best I could and stared into her eyes. "I will heal as fast as I can. I wouldn't want to miss any of the excitement." I started at her next comment. Fate rarely said things like that and my love for her filled my soul. "Thank you." I replied as once again tears came out of my eyes. "Just you being here makes me feel so much better." Tears still streaming I stroked her fingers with my hand.

Fate giggled. "I'll hold you to that, then. You won't miss much, though." She smiled. "Of course..I only speak the truth." As he began crying, her eyes turned gray and warm. "Just being here with me?" She searched for a tissue of some kind, and gently blotted his tears. She nuzzled his hand as he held her own. "Then I will stay here as long as it takes."

"I love you, Fate." This was about the 100th time he had said it, but each time there was a new amount of emotion behind it. "I never want you to forget that....ever. Even after I am gone...remember that there was someone that truly loved you...and I always will." The stream of tears had reached his chin and they glittered in the moonlight that filtered through the window.
(Erm..I forget... blaugh )

Fate turned a brilliant shade of crimson. "I love you too, Silver." She stroked his damp cheek. "I won't forget it..I promise." Swallowing hard to keep herself from crying, Fate continued to dry his tears. "But I don't want you to leave me anytime soon. You are mine for now.." She spoke gently, in a hushed tone. She smiled delicately, her soft lips reflecting how she felt. Grabbing another tissue, she blotted a few more times. "No more tears, love. Else, you may have me on a river flow, as well."

"That makes me feel so much better to hear you say that." I smiled as she dried her tears. This is a first..."Yes...for as long as I can manage." With me, the tissue box was quickly emptying. "Of course...for you. For you..everything that is in my power to give." I managed to stop my tears and continued to gaze at her.

Fate smiled weakly, placing her cheek on Silver's hand. "Thank you, Silver." She kissed the top of his knuckles, and yawned softly. "Are you sure you're comfortable? Do you need anything at all?" Her voice was soft, and slowly fading with her waryness.

I could tell the weariness in her voice. "You've been through a lot lately...go get some rest. I'm sure you need it." Smiling, I leaned back and closed my eyes. "I just hope....that the others...are okay..." I murmered as I drifted off into the murky realms of sleep.

Fate smiled, nodding slightly. "Alright." She stood, patting his hand. Running her fingers through the front of his hair, she turned away. "I'm sure they'll be just fine." Walking towards the door, Fate calmly flipped the light switch off. With a 'click', she closed the door partially to hear Silver if he were to call. She then entered the living area and collapsed onto the couch. "Mmph.." Turning her back to the center of the room, she nuzzled the couch's cushions and yawned. "Maybe they'll call if they..need assistance.." Her gray eyes were covered by their lids, and Fate's body became more limp.

(Now i only have to be Logan...thank goodness. blaugh
Oh and Fate, eventually we might want ot get Myythren to come as she's a healer and can fix me right up. Not right now, but eventually because there is no way I am going to heal otherwise.)
