Mothra is telepathic, knows the beam is going to fire, and flies into space. Going over the trench, its crystaline shielding protects it from surface fire, just in time to gum up the exhaust port.

Not if George lucas rewrites the scene and make it so that jarjar riding an ARC 170 pulled by ewoks some how kills mothra by sheer luck.

Well, the so-called military ball isn't working out too well. It seems that our planned date, may 20th, isn't going to work. I thought of having a mini-ball, like monday or so, just for wishing eveyrone a good summer...

Or, just put Mothra up against Ash Ketchum or Yugi from their stupid shows. They'll win, because for WHATEVER reason, the good guys just HAVE to win at some point.

Okay folkers, the Millitary Ball will be hel sometime in August( a long time, I know). There'll be some games to play, such as a revised version of the drummer-dude curse, and I'm working on some sort of a mystery/clue game deal.
Untill then, there'll be a smaller ball sometime in early June most likely, as a "have a good" summer thing, since some of us will be going away for the summer, including myself.
