I was messing around with this mini poem i wrote, and ended up with all of this. and yes, this came straight from the heart.
The tears flow like an endless river. Only love can hope to heal what time failed to extinguish; the endless sorrow of his heart. Promises turn to hallowed lies; He can no longer keep his vows. The taunting pangs of rejection pull the dying hope close; only to suffocate it with the gravity of its anguish. The light fades to darkness, his heartbeat slowly follows. The pain would end soon, and the only one he ever loved would finally escape his dying grasp.
A final breath slips from his lips; naught a single kiss of parting would grace his leave of this world.
His last thoughts would remain on that of regret, and the only woman he ever truly loved.
