McKenzie nodded, "Of course", he said following the man closely. McKenzie walked down the path looking at all the flowers once more. "Rotten place..", he murmured.
((I can post there first if you'd like?))

Vasska sighed as he wandered through the gardens, a small bag filled with various art supplies tossed over his shoulder, bumping against his back with each step. He eventually found a place to sit and sat, crossing his legs and pulling out a sketchbook and pencil, turning his attention to a flower and beginning to sketch, resting his chin in his hand, leaning his elbow against his knee.

Deciding that a garden would be the perfect place to spend his day, Aspen had been wandering around, marveling at the sights. Now, resting on a tree branch, he eyed the newcomer and watched the stranger begin what looked like a drawing. Thinking it to be rude not to introduce himself, the faerie hopped from the branch, landing softly on his feet as he met the ground. "Hello there!" he began, waving a hand as he stepped towards the sitting person, a large smile on his mouth.

Vasska looked up, lifting his chin off his hand. He reached up to his nose to push his glasses up the bridge, in order to see, blinking at Aspen. "'Allo," he said, through his thick Russian accent, after getting his first real look at Aspen.

"Wow, your voice," he smiled brightly, taking yet another step closer. "Do you mind if I sit with you?" Aspen looked about the area, trying to determine if the other was studying something in particular to draw. "Where are you from, by the way? I've never heard a voice quite like yours!"

"Ah. No, not at all. Go ahead." Vasska nodded, reaching up to adjust his glasses again. "I am from Russia. Or...I have been there many years, rather." He offered a little smile. "My apologies. My accent, it is very thick."

"No, no!" Aspen replied, shaking his head as he rather plopped onto the ground beside the other. "I find it very interesting, because I have never heard anything like it." He nodded, glancing to the sketchbook the other had. "The others I've lived with all have the same... accent, I guess you can say. So, Russia. What is that place like?"

Vasska nodded, then chewed on his bottom lip, thinking a moment. "Most would say...is cold, and leave it at that. But! Is very lovely place, even cold. Many places, full of history." He smiled, adjusting his glasses again.

Aspen watched the other, interested. "Is it always cold?" he asked, tilting his head. "Does the sun not shine in this place called Russia? And, those things covering your eyes... what are those?"

"Ah, no always. But in the winter, yes. It's warm, in the summer. We get sunlight. And...these are glasses. My eyes...Not so good." Vasska shook his head, adjusting his glasses again.

He nodded in understanding. "Sunlight is good. It helps things to grow." Aspen studied the glasses momentarily, raising an eyebrow. "So you mean to tell me that these things help you see better?" he asked, gesturing.

Vasska nodded. He reached up to remove his glasses, cleaning away some dust from the lenses using the bottom of his vest. "Without them I see one, maybe two feet clearly. The rest is blurry." He looked over at Aspen and squinted, then nodded before putting his glasses back on. "Blurry."

"So there is special glass that helps people to see more clearly?" he asked, still rather examining the spectacles. "Can just anybody put that in front of their eyes and see more precisely?" Aspen grew somewhat excited at the thought. "And what if somebody saw perfectly to begin with? Could they ever see through things?"

Vasska blinked at Aspen. "I think it is...just glass. Unless two people's eyes had the same prescription, it would give them a headache. And...no, I don't think you can see through things...Not with glasses, at least." Vasska chewed on his lips. "You are...Not from around here, yes? I should have guessed, form your clothes, but...is impolite to judge." He chuckled.
