Goddammit, Triny. You're a witness for the prosecution this time stressed He took a deep breath. This was normal in court. Short answers with minimal detail is what lawyers typically advise their clients. It's the smartest way to go, but it's highly inconvenient for this movie trial. He would just have to ask more questions to get the narrative out of her.
"So are you saying this was a mutual split? Or was it initiated by one of you? Was there a reason for it?"
Maybe a multipart question would awaken Triny's usually talkative self. It's something that would, again, usually be objected to in a real court, but he doubted anyone would notice.

There was some concern when Sergio actually objected, but it turned out to be nothing. rolleyes Also, given Giovanni's reaction, he was once again thankful that this being for a movie nullified any chance of it being used as evidence. Sure, someone could try, but it would be thrown out. He would make sure of it.

When Antonio starts talking about her assets, she looks down at her chest. Soon though she realizes, he was speaking about something else altogether.
*Finally! The Red Knight feels somewhat relieved, as it appears that he finally made a connection with his lawyer. He crosses his fingers in hopes of proving his innocence. neutral But then Her Majesty, The Queen of Hearts, is called to the stand. WTF?!eek She's Judge and Jury, and now she's a witness?! This doesn't seem right at all. confused
He sits there and listens as she is questioned. Some of what she said about their marriage was true. But what she failed to mention was that -she's- the one who lost interest in him and stopped asking him to escort her. She's the one who stopped loving him, all because of -Giovanni-, a/k/a His Majesty, the King of Hearts, stepping back into her life and claiming her as his own, like she was a piece of property or something. stare Basically, their marriage fell apart because of -him-, and -that- is mostly why he dove into his work and handling the Security of her Estate. But then there's two sides to every story. It's one of those "He Said, She Said" games that people play, and frankly, it's not fun. stare
But that's all water under the bridge now, as far as this Red Knight is concerned. As long as she's happy, then he's fine with that. He's been putting on his best behavior around -all- of them, showing them that he is not a threat. Yet so far, it seems to be all for naught. These damned false accusations that were filed against him prove otherwise, and he can't -wait- to get to the bottom of this and find out exactly -who- is responsible for all of this. stareninja

With no objection from the defense, Antonio continued.
"After having a taste of royal life and the amenities it offers, it's reasonable to think he would become greedy reacquire it, especially if it came at the expense of those who deprived him of it.

He returned to his seat, feeling this was going pretty well.
As Sergio sits there and the Prosecution has no more questions, he knows he’s up. THIS is it. As intimidating as it is to question the Mistress, his client needs “expertise” as he so coined it. And he’s right, he DOES need the expertise of a real attorney who would be able to match legal wits with the renowned counselor Antonio Pavani who’s career and reputation he’s completely earned. Sergio is a Hairstylist. A talented salon professional, avid patron of the Arts, an AR-TIST in his own rights and a Master Thespian at that. His resume in the field of Fashion and the Arts IS very long, but he’s no lawyer. A fan of law and order genre, but certainly no attorney.
He has known the Mistress for a good long time and he knows things about her that would curl any red blooded breeder’s toes. Because if you can count on ANYTHING, you can bet your a** Sergio has all out “dished” with this Mistress and he knows enough about her to write one hell of a steamy tell-all and be a famous writer. What’s stopping him? Her connections, power and her brother attorney sitting at the Prosecutions table.
But THIS forum. THIS is the filming of a Movie. THIS is his chance to skyrocket into that glorious limelight of the THEATER!! Breaks like this don’t present themselves all that often in life and sometimes you just gotta grab that brass ring and PULL!

But like the tank man he is, His Majesty came with a VENGEANCE when he found out you had gone this far! HE systematically and with extreme prejudice sought to seek and destroy! It’s what he does!! At this point and being the Master Thespian he is, Sergio feels it prudent to give the Theater audience a bit of an intermission so he cues Gunter and the performance of “The Mistress” ensues.
Antonio groaned inwardly at all the details he'd rather not know emotion_facepalm, but didn't bother to interrupt as the narrative Sergio was pushing, while all conjecture, only served to strengthen the prosecution's case. However, when music started to play again, that's where he drew the line stressed

emotion_facepalm Anira throws the script in the air and summons one of Lia's imps to bring a strong drink. ******** it. Sergio took it where he wanted to. Psy can't blame her for anything since she allowed it and she's on the stand. ******** it. Kyle was about to say something but she raised her hand to him again. Just roll with it. We are almost done with this god forsaken joke of a scene. As Hauk said, I pulled it out of my a** anyways so might as well just roll it to finish. Just put a spotlight on her majesty to emphasis the accusation.
Liada at one point finally woke up from her nap when there was more shouting happening at some point. She didn't think she would be so ******** bored with this scene if there was SOME kind of OPPOSITION from the Red Knight. He was just SITTING there taking it. Just like he seemed to with everything else in Psy's life. He was wallpaper. Unattractive, bland, boring, wallpaper. rolleyes The lights going out and the music dinged again made the fox-dragon shrug. Liada at least had something to dance to to wake her up.
Meanwhile Hauk just sits there in his seat with his chin resting in his hand. Really? Did no one else not know that by now? stare
*as though the sudden music wasn't bad enough, out came barely dressed women performing what could hardly be considered dancing.
