She could feel a smile creep onto her, but her mind told her that agreeing to this would come with consequences. And about his sisters…She wished she had littermates.]
“Well, that's good, for you I guess. Make sure to take care of your sisters; you may not realize it now, but your kin is all you really have in this world…Anyway, about the teaching matter. I'd love to, Stormpaw, but Dewburst is your mentor. Besides, I'm still inexperienced; it'll be a while before I get an apprentice. Dewburst has been through so much; he knows much more about hunting and fighting,” she froze for a moment, remembering Dewburst for what he was during the Madness epidemic, “…Did you know that I saved Dewburst from the Madness? You know, if there's one thing most cats don't know about me it's that I initially strived to become a medicine cat apprentice. I know a lot about herbs…”
[She muttered. Ever since she became a full warrior, she'd asked for forgiveness from her mother in StarClan for not having pursued the life of a medicine cat, and vowed to not tread on those grounds again. Nor speak of it. But somehow the topic snaked into the conversation…]

[He pricked her ears, when she heard small noises.]

[He stalked of in a direction and came back with a rabbit in his jaws.]

[Still sulking about her past, she hadn't even notice him leave. Duskfire blinked in amazement as Stormpaw dragged back a rabbit.]
Wow! Are apprentices really this good at hunting nowadays?! I couldn't even catch a rabbit that fast until I was a moon or so away from my ceremony…
[She glanced in the direction of Falconstrike, then looked at Stormpaw. He looked so happy…She wouldn't dare crush a young cat's joy. She wanted every BreezeClan kit feel welcomed and loved by all their Clanmates, just as she was when her mother passed away. Plus, she was somewhat hungry, having not eaten all day.
Duskfire stopped walking and flattened her ears, whispering in a hiss.]
“Okay, we'll share. But eat quickly! Falconstrike can be worse than fox when he's ticked off, especially to young cats like us…Thanks anyway. You're getting very good at hunting, you know that?”
[She murmured the last part as she lowered her head and tore a hind leg off of the rabbit, happy to indulge in its stringy flesh.]

[Almost as if out of nowhere, Falconstrike padded towards them, shouldering a few twigs aside with his shoulders. His eyes were blazing, and he looked so angry that smoke could have been coming out of his ears. He padded forwards until he stood right in front of Duskfire and Stormpaw, his tail lashing from side to side angrily and his larger-than-average form towering over both young cats.]
"So tell me, when did this border patrol turn into a hunting patrol? HUH? WHEN?"
[He roared as he lowered his nose until it was right against Stormpaw's, his considerably larger form extremely intimidating to an apprentice.]
"And you! You're no better than an apprentice! If you hunt, hunt AFTER your patrol! Are you a kit now? Can't even hold your hunger in?"
[Falconstrike roared into Duskfire's face, almost spitting in fury. A warrior, eating on a border patrol! What next? When he specifically told them not to slow him down!]
"Ok apprentice, listen up because I can't be bothered to remember the names of young ones like you. You either bury this rabbit RIGHT NOW, and continue on the patrol at double the speed, or you finish the rabbit here, but abandon the patrol. I'll be sure to tell Dewburst that you abandoned a border patrol because you were hungry, and you'll NEVER be an warrior. Clan first, yourself second! So? CHOOSE!"
[Falconstrike hissed into Stormpaw's face, his ears flattening against his skull, making him look as though he was about to claw at Stormpaw's ears at any moment.] ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ xxxxwнeɴ will тнe вlood вeɢiɴ тo ʀace,xxxxтнe sleepiɴɢ вud вuʀsт iɴтo вlooм?

 __________________[Serpent smiled and nodded at Galestar.] "Y-Your really think so!?" [She gave a happy purr.] "Serpent cant wait for her next lesson. See you soon Galestar." [She had fun practicing with her mentor, but now she had other things on her mind...] Serpent wonders where Wavepelt wondered off too? [She ran off sniffing around for him. while looking she passed the medicine den and decided to take a look inside.] "Joypaw? Are you here? Serpent wanted to know how you are doing."

[Icemane, After many hours of lostness and doing nothingness, Arrived back at camp with Frostclaw and deposited the mouse into the fresh-kill pile] "Yawn," He said looking around, "Everything exciting has already past... Wonder what use I can be." [ He slowly padded around in circles scuffing at a tuff of fur] "Fun. Ehehe..."

[She was conserned for joypaw but felt better seeing that she had returned to her joyful self.] You are so strong joypaw... not everyone can hide the hurt like you.

"Saltpaw! Look what you've done. You scared off all the prey, you probably even spooked the squirrels in StormClan!" Jaywing was deeply ashamed. Embarrassed even. His apprentice, had just bolted, come near to a rabbit, then, narrowly missed. Right in front of Mapleleaf.
...but I need someone to knock me head over heels.

We were given Four paws to walk, two eyes to see, two ears to listen...  Saltpaw[Saltpaw lowered her head in shame. She hadn't meant to make him mad.] "I'm sorry Jaywing...I just.." [She said started, not knowing what to say.] "I just thought I could catch it..."
[Saltpaw had never hunted before. She just went with that she thought of first, and the yell she had produced was excitement.] "Sorry." [she mumbled miserably.] But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find...

[Duskfire had not flinched nor moved the enitre time Falconstrike went on his rant of sheer rage. Her olive-gold eyes watched the older warrior, listening--much to her own displeasure--to every word that seemed to explode from his jaws. By the time he'd finished, her hackles were rising in defense for the young gray tabby beside her.]
He meant no harm with this. Falconstrike may think otherwise, but this is not justice.
[Duskfire straightened herself, tail swishing about as the air seemed to crackle with tension. She snaked in between Stormpaw and Falconstrike, eyes smoldering in contempt.
She decided to open with sarcasm, whatever the consequences may be. And as she spoke, she had to restrain herself from snarling, so her teeth flashed between every few words.]
“Careful, Falconstrike. You don't want all of NightClan to know our patrol is coming…Tell me something, Falconstrike. Do you care for the future of BreezeClan? Do you do what you do for the sake of the Clanmates? Of course you do. But perhaps you don't realize that intimidation will only lead to rebellion. We've seen it happen time and time again; if you harass an apprentice, they grow with hate in their hearts and bloodthirst in their eyes, and one day, their Clan will know of their anger…There's no need to scold Stormpaw for something so trivial, and I'm sure if Galestar were to see you now, he'd be very surprised…and disappointed. Stormpaw, bury the rabbit and get a move on. We're waisting daylight, standing around like this…”
[Narrowing her eyes at the massive tabby, she flicked her tail towards the rabbit and Stormpaw before lunging past Falconstrike with incredible speed. Being a smaller, more agile and overall docile female was one thing she thought gave her an advantage over enemies, and hot-headed toms like Falconstrike. She didn't even know why he was in BreezeClan; toms like him were usually born into NightClan, for StarClan's sake.
Snorting her anger away, she gained speed, knowing that he'd probably try to catch up and yell at her once more. She wasn't concerned for Stormpaw, though; one thing Falconstrike would never do--unless he wanted to be skinned alive--was to hurt, much less kill, an apprentice.]____________________________

[Frostclaw padded into camp and put the rabbit into the fresh-kill pile. She didn't dare take any even though it was larger then it had been in a moon or so. She had only brought back one piece of prey and the rest of the clan needed it first. She watched as Icemane prodded something and she sighed.]
"So bored that you're playing like a kit?" [Frostclaw mewed while padding up to him to get a clear view of what he was playing with.] It is contained in one phrase: make use of suffering.
