Pandper stuck the points of his rapiers into the floor. The blades stood there, seemingly untouched by gravity. Pander slowly removed his long leather jacket to reveal his bare torso. The normally faded rose tattoo on his left hip was a dark black, shimmering fiercely. He tossed the jacket to Jangen.
Hold that for me. As for you ladies... I usually don't fight women, but if you offer.
He pulled the rapier on his right from the floor. The blade and hilt were jet black, seeming to absorb the light around them. He ran a finger along the blunt side of the blade then grabbed the other rapier quickly. It's blood red blade and hilt just looked pretty. Both had excelent balance and had been sharpened to perfection. Pander held them expertly. He had wielded them for years, knwoing exactly how to use them.
Come them.
((I have to go out so I'll check back when I get home or tomarrow morning.))

*Ladies? Good grief.* *I think it was s'posed to be a compliment.* *Well, it wasn't.* *Oh, lighen up, you're too serious. I think it was sweet.* *You're afraid of him.* *So? It was still sweet.* Laurel walked over to the corner, grabbing the two sets of pads they had dropped there. *Catch!* She threw them at Micha, who caught them deftly. Both girls strapped the thick leather pads to their arms. *Watch out this time, Mi. And didja take your pill?* *Okay, and yeah. You were there.* *Just making sure.* The two bowed towards him, grinning. Then, Micha sprang towards him, aiming a kick at his chest, while Laurel slipped behind him to punch at the back of his head with both hands. If he wasn't used to fighting two opponents, one of their shots was sure to hit.
((Okay, see you later then.))

Marcus was fairly shocked that she had gotten ahold of his application so quickly...or rather that she had bothered to get it at all......and how? "Still...it's a very nice sword, you deserve it" he said quietly, trying to hide his crappy and near useless blade behind him slowly so as not to draw her attention to it, though he felt as if he had failed. He tightened one of the belts along the top-most part of his shirt and stared at the ground, kind of embaressed about himself. "You know Sara, if you learned to use that sword well enough I bet it would save your life one day......." he said quietly, trying to speak as if to make her sound more important. He wasn't much of a conversationalist, but right now he was trying really hard to make with the talking.
"Your right...I never used patience as a kid and I hardly use it now, the sad thing is my lack of patience has gotten a few people hurt in my years...it saddens me" he said, his head hanging lower than it had been just a few moments ago. He wasn't proud of some of the things he had done in the past, nobody was perfect...but he felt as if he was a failure. His own parents even hated him...and look at what he did to make nice...snuck off to a school across the planet to practice the thing people hated most....

Saraneth gave ner sword a loving look. "There was something that I saw that night... at the hospital, I mean..." Her reflection was mottled in the blade's surface. It had not been polished or sharpened for decades, but then again, it hasn't been used, so it remained sharp. But the surface was still eroded by dust and wind, on its usual place in the family's sword rack on the wall. She sheathed it. "I've been given a premonition in a dream. It's been noted that those who carry this sword have the power of reading the future by merely carrying it. Its name is Shengyan, in chinese. Or Kami no Hitomi in Japanese. The God's Eye, in English." She looked straight into his eyes.
"I will never be able to use this sword for myself. The only way I can ever use it without falling to misfortune is to use it on the behalf of another." She smiled at him, "Further more, it will never save my life. I must save my own and it will protect what I cherish the most in return. That is the law of the God's Eye." She waved the applications about and looked like her old, cheerful self again, "I better get rid of these. If the administrators found out that I hacked their database for personal information, they'd strengthen their security. Then I'll have to break the code again." With a laugh she snapped her fingers and the papers burned up.
"Just know that you'll be under the protection of my sword. If you will believe me, your problems will eventually vanish." She remembered that he did have a medical condition. The sword would keep people she liked safe if she kept herself and the sword itself in good condition. She was under the hand of the sword's patron God. "If you believe me... that is."

It was an interesting story to listen to, and since Marcus had been going here for a few days now he had shed his disbelief in magic and learned that there are forces beyond human comprehension. He nodded while she spoke but listened intently at the same time.....God guarded that sword eh? Well at least 'A' god did anyway.......it truly was a grand weapon. Somewhere in his gut as he spoke he could feel something, but he couldn't put his finger on it.....it was a feeling totally new to him, but it felt so comforting...in a way.
"I"m glad....your going to protect me, because honestly...I'm not much good at protecting anything" he said removing his battered blade from behind his back and showing it to her, holding it gently in both hands. "This is my...weapon......I bought it second-hand before I came here....It's in terriable shape and I don't know it's history but...it's all I have" he said, trying to raise his voices volume just a tad to try and be a little more confident. "I'm sure you shall put that blade to the best use possiable, and I can assure you....you will protect something much more valueable than my life someday" he said quietly, returning his sword back to the position it held before behind his back.

"There is nothing more precious than your life at the moment, since you totally saved me that time." She smiled at him in that same sweet smile. Saraneth was 17, but she was as childish as a 10-year-old at times. She wasn't very tall... taller than Gyrfalcon's 5' 3", but no taller than 5' 7". She played with the curl of one of her pigtails.
"You know, if you want me to find out the history of your sword, I can do that by touch." She suggested softly. "I can speak to inanimate objects. And if you want the sword restored or made even stronger, I know someone who can help you." She was thinking of the Gyrfalcon again, of course. That's all she's been thinking of... Gyrfalcon, Gyrfalcon, Gyrfalcon... and it's been noted that her boyfriend, Kira, has also taken on a code name... Silverwing. It's fitting for a student to make his name compatible to his teacher's. The Gyrfalcon did indeed have silver wings of steel. If she assumed right, he would probably be named after her right wing.

((I honestly have no stroy for this sword...if you would like to make one for it I would be honored!))
Marcus thought about her comment for about four seconds before eagerly handing his sword over to her, fully trusting in her abilities. "If you could fix it and find out stuff about it....I will call it even for saving you that day" he said, smiling happily as he put his sword into her hands. It was rather exciting, solely for the fact that Marcus might be the owner of an ultra rare and powerful katana...then again it could be a cheap replica all the same aswell......it didn't matter, because it would be his cheap replica!
Marcus however, while handing his blade over noticed something....Sara wasn't nearly as tall as he had though she was.....but height mattered not to him, she was extremly nice and that was all that mattered. However..Marcus also noticed something else....when he looked at her that same feeling from before came back...in his gut...it was a funny feeling..but comforting.

Saraneth took the sword into her hands. She looked at it with the same loving expression she gave to the Kami no Hitomi. "Everything's okay... Marcus won't throw you away, I don't think... you don't need to be afraid..." Closing her eyes, she let her heart fall deep into the the center of the blade, ready to listen to all it had to tell her...
"Kinami! Where are you? Kinami?" The eyes of the sword looked out over the vast green plain. The color of a samurai's armor peeked into a third of the vision. The rest was on the battlefield, stained in death and crimson. The carrier of the sword suddenly began to run... and a figure became aparent in the distance... a woman wearing a yukata like costume, with slits on either side of her knee-length skirts and shorts beneath. She didnt' seem to be breathing...
"Kinami!" The view suddenly changed to the sky... soon replaced by a burst of dark red splatterings.
The image changed to a wooded forest and continuous scene after scene of falling trees and flying wood. Sudden bursts of pain obscured the vision every time an impace struck at it. It was so vivid... And the pain was gone as it fell through space, wailing a keen, crying scream into the earth below.
Saraneth tore her eyes open, sweat dribbling down her cheek. "Y... your sword has a story... It used to belong to a samurai, I think... or someone dressed as a samurai. Heck... it might even be an actor-- no, it was too real... It belonged to a man, we'll say, who failed to protect someone he loved. It might be a girlfriend, maybe a sister, a friend, a friend's sister... endless possibilites. He killed himself on this blade. It was found by a wood cutter... maybe a bird or something thought it was pretty but was too tired to carry it more than half way to his nest. It got battered after a long time of chopping down trees without proper care. The wood cutter tossed off a cliff. I think someone probably found it after that and sold it or something. It eventually got to you."
With a sigh, she handed the sword back. "Take good care of it, I mean him. But he has long forgotten his name... if you promise to take care of him from now on, you must name him." She smiled at the sword again. He seemed less afraid than before.
"There's a girl, two years younger than you, I think. She can made anything out of metal." Saraneth suggested again, "Her name is Rivencaira, her room is 625 in Wingardia. If you go to her to ask for help. I'm sure she will help you, as long as you don't tell her that I referred you to her." She smiled sheepishly, "I don't think she likes me..."

Marcus took the blade back and smiled, holding it even more gently than before....he knew what this blade had done now....what it had been through. "Thank you Sara, you truly are amazing....in both will to survive and amazing abilities" he said quietly, storing the blade safely on his waist belt like he usually did. Rivencaira....625...he would remember all of this and pay her a visit later on...today or tommorrow if he didn't have time. However something purplexed him, why would this other girl not like Sara...she was incrediably nice to Marcus and really sweet....perhaps it was a long running rivalry or something along those lines.
He stopped just as he took a step foreward, standing directly next to Sara, and he put his hand on her shoulder. "Sara....if you need this...my blade or my help.....just ask okay..I may not look it but I have a little bit of skill fighting..." he said quietly, as he ahd stopped going..perhaps he would saty and talk with her a bit longer.

Sara smiled sweetly at him. "It was no problem... you don't have to do that for me though.... After all..." She trailed off, looking away shen a flash of sorrow streaked through her amber eyes, almost making her break her smile. Saraneth had always promised to herself that she would smile as much as she can, to forget pain and discard regrets. It was hard, but it did work very often.
"Not all the swords and friends in the world can save my soul after what I have done..." She regained her smile and turned back to him once more, "But that's alright. It makes me so happy to hear you say that..." Saraneth's voice didn't change so much. She was godly in the ways of deception and drama, having played lead roles in every major musical or play in her school and sometimes, for professional actors. It was one of the talents she was born with, which made her a good spy and an even better assassin. She blended in with the crowd, despite her shocking straberry-red hair and hair style.
"I'm sure you will be busy... I should probably go and leave you in peace." Sorry for intruding on you again.
Oh great... the training never got done... oh well. She'll do some more work after she get something to eat. As if agreeing to her, her stomach growled a little. Saraneth blushed as red as her hair. "Eh... I think my stomach seconds my notion... I'll see you soon." She waved and began to walk down the hall. The dining halls was supposed to have all sorts of great food. She hasn't eaten in nearly two days.

He spun while crouthing for a better balance and blasted past the teacher and landed to a stop and stuck it. His eyes closed there was no experrsion on his face. the fellow students looked confused why was he dodging instead of a quick counter, and better yet why not make the first move.
Sorri bolted at the wall ahead of him and ran up it at a past average paste. he pushed spinning and landed on footed on the teachers right shoulder. Once again his landing stuck. His eyes still remain closed, from hte begining they had been.
"What are you?How can you be new yet skilled?"
On eyed opened an looked down spotting the teacher reaching to grab him. Sorri hopped onto his head with ease and let out a small sigh and shook his head.
"I am Sorri Kitt...nothingless, and a whole lot more."

"O-okay....bye" he said quietly, waving as she left. He wondered what she mean't by' What she had done?', honestly it couldn't have been that terriable right? she was the nicest person Marcus knew...then again he didn't know many people. As she left Marcus remembered what drove him to the brink of oblivion and back, why he saught to fight and do the things he so wished. Reaching into his shirt he pulled out his tiny book, the very same one he always carried with him...and he flipped it to the first page. On there at the very top written in his best handwriting were a few lines. "I, Marcus Ivanwood....swear that untill the day I can no longer pursue my goal will fight for this reason and this reason alone. It may seem selfish and it may well be...but I will....I will Transcend time......I will find what makes a person truly immortal and harness it...I will be know , regardless of the consiquences"
As Marcus rad the lines he had written 7 years ago he wondered if he had even gotten any closer to his goal...had he really come to the place where his dream would finally come to fruition? He didn't know, and to tell the truth untill it would reveal itself to him there would be no sense in looking for it, but somewhere deep inside himself Marcus knew that he would find a way.

Cid stood up waking from blood loss. He wiped his mouth of dried blood and stood holding his chest. It hurt still but not as bad as before, he needed blood but he couldnt help but smell a carpathian close by and began limping toward the scent. It grey thicker and thicker as he exited the trainning hall. He thought it was funny that no one decided to even aknowledge he had been bleeding or that he had lost consciousness at alll. Cid kept pressing on though he wanted to collapse as the thirst was strong now in him and it ached his chest. He was going to find this carpathian today.

He turned his face to hers and pulled his hand to whipe her tears away before they fell. "Its just a bad day is all, Ive forgotten to drink again and now im feeling weak and bleeding due to my migraines I get from it." CId tried to stand up next to shino.
