Mao just shrugged. They left the room then to go find Tatsuhiro. Mao made sure to close the door and he followed Nathan.

Nathan went to Mao and linked arms. "Now that we know Kyo isn't likely to be with us that long... what wishes do we need? I know the one about the contract, but if we need a second one...?"

"I don't get involved with those things. They are tricky and I would rather do without them. I think that's the reason Tatsuhiro wanted to get rid of him too. You'll find something you want though. Just think a little bit more about yourself."

Nathan nodded. "I will. And I'll spend some time drafting the wishes to get the right wording. Might need to find out from Kyo how Genies really work. I could take him a hot chocolate or something since he doesn't know what he likes." He paused. "I've no idea why he doesn't like Tatsuhiro though..."

"He's just mad because I'm the one who sealed him up in the first place," Tatsuhiro answered looking out from inside his room. "He doesn't like me because I put him where he belonged before anyone found him. I did it for his own good but he's stubborn and he just thinks I wanted to get rid of him."

"We can explain differently to him later, can't we?" Nathan soothed, holding out his free arm as an invitation to Tatsuhiro. "I've no idea where we're going - we only planned as far as finding you - but would you like to come with us? We could bake, choose somewhere to go...?"

Tatsuhiro gave the other a tender smile. He closed the door behind him as he stepped out and then walked to Nathan's side. "Okay. I'd be glad to go with you to wherever it is you're headed." Tatsuhiro took Nathan's hand and pressed close to him for a moment.

Nathan smiled back and started them forward. Then stopped. "Uh... where did you say you'd like to go? We could see the house, but Yoru isn't here. A park or something - I'd suggest a cinema but we have no money... hmmm..."
He looked at Mao and Tatsuhiro, waiting with a blush for suggestions.

Since both Mao and Nathan alike seemed to be clueless as to what they could do Tatsuhiro stopped to think for a moment. He got an idea but he thought it over a few times before he suggested it. "Well,"he began. "I do have this one spot outside around the mountains that you might like to see. One of you will have to carry me though since I can't fly."

Nathan bit his lip, looking between the two of them. "I think I can carry you... but I'm still new at flying, so carrying anyone bigger than a kitten is probably not a good idea - the kitten could fit in a pocket, like a basket on a bicycle..."
He knew Mao wouldn't want to carry Tatsuhiro, but he wasn't going to lie and risk dropping Tatsuhiro!

"That wasn't what I meant - I'd just hate to drop anyone! But we'll give it a go, alright? Just hold on tightly and..." Nathan gulped, blushing and mussing his own hair before offering that hand to Tatsuhiro. "Shall we?"

Tatsuhiro nodded and walked with Nathan and Mao to the exit of the cave. From that point it would have to be a straight shot up.
Mao quickly ascended and waited for Nathan to take Tatsuhiro. He would follow behind in case Nathan needed his help. Either way it would be Tatsuhiro who would be giving the directions.

Nathan scooped Tatsuhiro close and concentrated on staying calm as he released his wings. With a deep breath and reassuring smile, he lifted off the ground. Surprisingly graceful, he followed Tatsuhiro's directions to where they needed to be.
Wait... he's taking us to his special place. So he's never shared it with anyone before. We hardly know each other, but... but he likes me as much as I do him! Unfortunately, that epiphany nearly caused Nathan to lose his concentration, but he managed to get them righted and smiled apologetically at both of the other men.
I'll thank him later...
