Aros hadn’t heard a response from Kiera, but that didn’t give him any reason to believe that she wouldn’t follow his instructions. So he glanced over the group to see that no harm had been done. Things were rather boring with the light-bearers taking so long to get inside. Surely they would hurry up. And Enid was also taking her sweet time getting to them about whether things were ready or not. The fact that she would have to walk from the campus and up the cliff didn’t even cross his mind as to why she might be running late. And then there was Rikia. What could she possibly be doing? That question was answered for him as a Corridor of Darkness appeared and the tealnette stepped out, wearing a little lavender dress and looking as if she was about to have a grand time at the dance. He stared at her for a second, an absolutely annoyed expression on his face. This was why she was late? She was getting ready? Heartless or not, woman had no perception of what was important and what wasn’t, especially when it involved clothes.

The first words out of Rikia’s mouth were directed at Aros himself. She reminded him how they were attending a formal dance and he needed to look the part. At that he was reminded that they were supposed to be going together. Why had he ever suggested that? It was supposed to be a joke, but if he backed out of it now… No one would ever let him live it down. So he just sneered at Kairi’s darkness as she told him to go get changed while she got acquainted with everyone else.
”Fine,” he snapped irritably. ”But then you’d better make sure we don’t miss those goody-goodies going inside! I don’t want to have to wait a second longer than I need to!” He thrust his hand out, making a Corridor of Darkness appear. He stomped inside and reappeared in the middle of the square. Everything was more or less deserted, since everyone was pretty much closed for Christmas Eve. Not that it mattered to him; he wasn’t going to pay. So he barged into a poorly locked store, grabbed the best looking tux he could find, and changed as quickly as possible. He looked himself over once in the mirror, and decided that he looked fine. That would show Rikia. Now he just had to get back before he missed anything.

It was fun talking to her friends and meeting new people. Lakayna and the others hadn't been at the dance too long, but the dragoness was already enjoying herself. Still, she did want to go inside and dance a little before the dance was over. Plus, Lakayna wanted to really get a chance to see the decorations and hear who was voted king and queen for the dance.

"Come on guys, let's go in already. The night'll be over before we do and it'll be nice to be able to see who the king and queen for the dance will be," she said enthuesiastically with an unintentional hint of impatientness. The dragoness started to walk inside as Sora started to come back towards the main group for friends.

Blink ran down the sidewalk knowing he was late.
he stopped at sora's house and asked if Ari was ready.
He bowed his head and apologized for being late.

Enid stood by the stage looking around to make sure she did a good job.
she looked around on the spot hoping someone would come compliment her hard work but no one did.
"Figures" she said going to sit down at a chair by the side.
She sighed "Aleast i know i did a good job, and i hope aros' plan works" she said

Mildred was at the buffet table in a beautiful white dress with a blue satin sash.
She looked around for blink but coulded find him so she 'Drew' herself someone to be her date.
She drew a handsome prince.

Sora grinned as Xia told him that was a good idea and admitted that she didn’t know what Blaise and Skyler would think. According to her, she was a “third wheel”, so Sora gathered that even though Blaise had said he’d come with both girls, it was more of his and Skyler’s outing. He felt bad for Xia, knowing that she didn’t have a heart so she couldn’t feel jealous, but surely there was something there that made her “feel” uncomfortable. He gave her a warm smile.
”Well, that’s no problem,” he assured her, walking backwards to keep talking to her as he walked more towards his group. ”Just stick with us for the night! We don’t have ‘third wheels’. We’re all together. And I’m sure Blaise and Skyler will be the same way!” As he started to turn around, he had to stop abruptly as Lakayna brushed past him. He almost ran into her, but stopped in the nick of time.

Lakayna said to the whole group in general that they needed to get inside before the night was over and it would be nice to see who the king and the queen of the dance were. Sora just shrugged a little, not really interested in who won or whatever. Of course, he was hoping that Kairi wasn’t picked, just because he knew that he wouldn’t be picked as well and he’d hate to see her dancing with someone else. And even if by some miracle he was picked, he did NOT want to dance in front of the entire student body. So really, he wasn’t so into seeing who won, but he knew the others would be, so he decided that he would follow. However, he stopped mid-step, remembering the reason they were out here in the first place.
”You guys go ahead,” he told the others. ”I’ll stay out here to flag down Riku, Naminé, Ari, Blink, y’know, whoever else we’re looking for. You guys go have fun!” He smiled at them, turning his eyes to Kairi briefly. He hoped she would stay with him, but he wanted her to have fun, so he also kind of hoped she would go inside and enjoy herself. But he wanted to wait for Riku and Naminé, just to make sure things were okay. He felt like something was preventing them from arriving, but that was probably him just being paranoid and really everything was fine. He wanted to make sure, though.

Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

Xia laughed off Blaise and Sky's protests that she was a third wheel. "Guys, I'm the friend coming with you guys while you go to a dance together. With me right next to you two all the time, it'd be awkward for you."She laughed, and hugged Sky and Blaise. She turned to Sora as he began to walk. "Heh, no third wheels in a group as big as this!" Xia gestured to the people around her. It was quite a large group by now- at least to her standards. She was going to offer to stay outside too, maybe make friends with Sora, when Sky collapsed. "Skylar! Sky, what's wrong?!"

This One Night, That's All I Ask

The first person to speak to her was a girl with short ebony hair. Rikia's crimson eyes flickered over to her as the girl claimed the Princess' attention. The girl responded that she was pleased to finally meet her, and she smiled but her smile didn't reach her eyes. Not that Rikia expected it to. Beings of Darkness were rather... emotionless. Save for rage and hate. Rikia was the acception. She was sadistic and found amusement where others would scream or cry. "Tesqux." Rikia repeated, taking a brief moment to memorize name with face. She giggled when Tesqux said she had no fancy title to give and Rikia simply waved it off. "Titles mean nothing. They're simply fun wordplay. What matters is the person the title is given to." Rikia grinned, fangs flashing. Her eyes followed Tesqux's as the girl looked to the beings of light. Hm. One of those girls down there was most likely Tesqux's other.

Rikia's grin widened maliciously when she spotted Sora, easily able to distinguish him by his hair. And then... her eyes roamed the group and found the one she was searching for. A hungry, amused look came into her eyes which seemed to flare brightly for a moment as she gazed at Kairi. "Soon, Princess. Soon you shall find out just how dangerous the Darkness can be. Especially the Darkness within," Rikia murmured, her voice quiet. Her eyes remained on the Light Bearers, making sure that they weren't going inside yet. Aros would have her head if she let them out of her sight. Then again, fighting with Aros was fun. He thought himself so much more important than her.

Then again, all beings of Darkness thought themselves more important than all the rest. She noticed that one of the girls spoke and Rikia focused on her, reading the words from her lips. So, she suggested they go inside. Rikia put her hands on her hips, her fangs gleaming in a smile. "If Aros takes much longer, he'll miss them going in. Really, he gets all annoyed with me dressing up but then it takes him forever to go find one silly tux and get changed." Rikia's bell like voice snaked into the air, a small laugh forming. She knew that he'd meant going together as a joke but... She also knew that if he backed out no one would let him live it down. Especially her. What, was he afraid of the little Dark Princess?

After Aros snatched a rose from a nearby store when he caught movement out of the corner of his eye. He stole behind a corner and peered around its edge to see Riku and Naminé pass by. A slick smile appeared on his face as he came out from behind the corner and watched Riku and his girlfriend disappeared over the horizon. Completely oblivious. Well, if they were on their way to the dance, that meant that the light-bearers would be going inside soon. He needed to get back and see if Enid was ready. So he waited to make sure the Riku and Naminé weren’t backtracking, then opened a Corridor of Darkness and stepped inside, aiming to reappear on the cliff with Rikia and the others.

That was just what Aros did. The portal swirled shut after he stepped out on the cliff. He came out just in time to hear Rikia’s little comment about himself. He scoffed and folded his arms over his chest.
”Just trying to look good enough for you, sweetheart,” he sneered, glaring evenly at her. He paused for a moment, keeping his gaze even on her before turning away to look over at Destiny High. He watched as the silvernette “pawn” and the blonde Nobody joined the ever-growing group. Good, they’d be heading inside soon. He turned his attention back to the others.
”Okay, so… the plan,” he began. ”Does anyone else know what it is? Hm? Because if I have to explain it, I only want to do it once.” He was in no mood to play games. Sure, that one cloaked woman wasn’t there, but she seemed pretty tight with Rikia, so he wasn’t going to bother waiting for her. He knew Enid knew the plan, so the question was mostly directed to the two girls, Kiera and Tesqux. Kurayami, sure, if he didn’t already know for whatever reason.
