You know they had Bono in the movie "Across The Universe"?
He sung one of the songs in the scene when they were traviling in the bus to see the guru guy who was out in the country.
I believe he sung "I am the walrus" song by The Beatles.

Wow no I didn't know Bono was in "Across the Universe." I really want to see the movie again after a little time has passed. THere was so much content in it, it was hard to take it all in. I'll definitely be looking for Bono. Thanks for pointing out that he's in there. "I am the walrus" is a funny song. Sometimes I think I understand what it means. Mostly not though.
I think the guru guy was a reference to Tim Leary, the Great Guru of LSD.

3nodding It actually from a show I watched a few years ago still exsists. (The Bus) It is parked in a persons field some where and was for the most part untouched sitting there. ^8^
Xalikar- You like the song "I am the Walrus" ? I do as well and there is an even trippier song the beatles did called "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds"

I heard (from one of the Beatles, maybe Paul) that Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was written about a child's drawing. Is it an urban legend or a real story? Anyone know?

I dunno... The majority of people say it's about the drug LSD. Probably 'cus of this: Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
I don't think that's the case, though.

According to this John's son Julian did a drawing that included Julian's school friend Lucy and John put it in a song but didn't notice the Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds reference to LSD until after the song came out and people started pointing it out to him. I'm not sure but I think I probably saw an interview of Lennon actually saying that. I've never seen the drawing before though. On the other hand, Tim Leary's place on Hudson Street in NYC in the 60s named League for Spiritual Discovery was definitely an LSD reference. lol

It could very well be annalogy to both the drawing and LSD, they both make since when you listen to the song.
But it is very very trippy and I wouldnt rule out the LSD explaination.

*nod* George Harrison said in an interview that he was at party at a dentist's house. Somebody there slipped LSD in the punch. I guess people were pretty casual about LSD in last century.

I believe so, 3nodding
I have heard some really wild stories from some older folks who have "Kicked" the habit a long time ago but still tell stories from the "Good old days".
From what I have heard from them, LSD seemed to be everywhere, and people used to ever prank people by spiking things with LSD drinks foods (Not sure how exactly) and such.
