So far with .hack, I've watched the anime and read the Legend of the Twilight, as well as playing part 1 of both the GU series and the original series. It is one of my favorites and I am glad I was able to get the soundtrack of .hack sign -Steals dragon-

The manga doesn't have Yuki Kajiura... though, I love Tsubasa's manga WAY more than the anime.

Is that the title of your signature base? I think I saw it at the bookstore and my brother not letting me getting until another one of our manga series finishes.

Blah... Everyone's arguing in my house... What else is new.... >_<
What .hack anime have you watched? o-o //sign or //roots or what?
.hack//AI buster came before everything else, then .hack//sign, then .hack//infection, mutation, outbreak, and quarantine, then a couple of random novels with no real relevance to the series, then .hack legend of twilight, then .hack roots, and finally .hack//gu.
remember the girl in twilight who was in the net slums, who looked sorta like zephie? the one who kept talking about the end? she's the character from AI buster- the very beginning of the story.
Also, the one that komui mentions- who was blamed for the entire incident in CC corp before and left 'the world', is in AI buster- it's basically his story.
It also tells about how Balmung and Orca became the azure knights by defeating the one sin.

As for the GU games... how thorougly have you completed it? Have you done the first and second games in their entirety? Annoying side quests and all?
If you do it for all 3 games, there's a special reward...

I've watched signs and roots. As for infection, I got up to Skeith, and...couldn't beat him. I'm stuck facing him right now as it is.
For GU, I never got to beat the first game. My brother traded it in before I got the chance to beat it, though he has all the GU games now, as well as Infection, Mutation and Outbreak, but I don't want to owe him.
I haven't gone into AI buster yet though. It will be interesting to look at the backstory however -Steals star on chest-

I liked the first series of games for the plot, but overall I felt that the gameplay of the GU games were much better.... Plus you get to play as skeith, and that's pretty badass, let me tell you.
If I'd played the older games recently, I'd give you advice... But in all honesty I haven't played them in years, so any advice I'd give wouldn't be too accurate XD
AI buster 1 and 2 are novels. They're very interesting and since they're what started everything, I feel that they're worth buying for the read.
I had to borrow GU 1 and 2 from my brother... But that worked out well because he had to borrow 3 from me XD
I've since bought them tho...

I'll be able to start it next week when i have time between work and cleaning.
