"Fine then," Adele said, and she took another drink. She set the bottle on the table and stretched. It already seemed to be affecting her, and her cheeks were flushed. She seemed a bit wobbly as she walked to the bed and sat down.

Adele grabbed hold of the collar of Rue's shirt when he did that. "I'm not gonna lay down," she said. Then she pushed him onto the bed, still holding onto his shirt.

Rue gave no resistance as he was suddenly pushed down onto the bed instead. He looked up at her.

"You're so cute, Rue," Adele said. She didn't seem to be in her right mind, but it didn't seem to just be the alcohol. Adele smiled a little and then tried to kiss Rue.

Adele kissed him again for a few moments before pulling away. She moved to the side and then sat with her back to Rue.

Adele seemed to have come to her senses a bit. "I'm sorry, Rue," she said. She still sounded tipsy, but she had realized what she had done. She had wanted to kiss Rue, but hadn't wanted to force herself on him.
