The smile faded when Blade could not make that promise and she looked at him with sad round eyes. When he started to tousle her hair, however, she let out a 'meep' bringing her hands up to stop the one that was assaulting her head. In the end she looked a little flustered, her cheeks growing red from the treatment. Really, was she that much like a dog to be petted so roughly?
"Okay," Mitsu gave a nod as she wiped at her face. Hopefully everything would be okay. Maybe Blade was telling the truth and with the strength the group had together they would all be safe. "Do you think Neko will still be upset?"

With a soft chuckle, Blade shook his head and stopped patting her head, "Sorry about that."
Leaning back, he thought on her question. It was hard to say for certain. He would like to think that Neko was cool with everything, but the guy was a little unpredictable sometimes.
"I think he should be alright," he said, "But even thought he got upset, he shouldn't have acted like that towards you."
Pausing, he looked into the pond, watching some of the small fish swimming around. He had to wonder where these fish came from exactly... were they native to this region or imported from elsewhere? Shaking the thought from his mind, he looked back at Mitsu.
"Oh yeah... if you ever feel like you need to talk about something, feel free. And... let me know when you want to head back to the others; I'll come with you."

Riyo had been about to respond to Neko, but Tobi came out of nowhere and bombarded her with kisses.
She looked at the dog with a dull gaze, not quite sure what she was seeing. "Goddamn." the obviously drunk girl stuttered. "Yuki, when did you get so fuzzy? And... Why are you lickin' my face? That's weird."
"Oh God." Atticus immediately said after Riyo confused the dog with Yuki. "She's completely smashed."

It had taken a bit longer then poke thought. She had no idea where they had taken her horse, and she hoped that they hadn't just ditched them in the desert. It was also hard not to just stay there and gawk at all the other dragons milling about. Eventually though she had found some sort of stabled area and, luckily, her horse was there along with her belongings.
poke then rushed back towards the tent, forgetting that she should be taking it easy for a while. When she was closer she noted blade and mitsu were still outside. Good, she wasn't sure she should give this to her with everyone present. She had no idea what the note contained, not wanting to read it herself encase it was supposed to be secret.
Once a bit closer she could see the two were talking, so she hung back a bit. Her body then decided to protest her sudden bout of activity, so she had to sit down in order to catch her breath back.

"Well, I can see the easy mistake," Neko commented in a half way serious manner.
Tobi had paused in licking Riyo's face as she spoke to him. Tilting his head he gave a bit of a whine. Maybe she was napping? A nap did sound pretty good. Taking to circling and curling up, Tobi rested his head on Riyo's arm, a yawn cascading from his mouth.

"I don't blame him for being upset." Mitsu said softly as she turned back to look at the fish too. As far as talking about anything, Mitsu shook her head. "I think I'll stay here for a while. You don't have to wait on me." Her ears seemed to pick up movement and as she turned her head she caught sight of Poke sitting down. "Poke?"

"ah...there you are..." Poke puffed from her spot on the floor for a second before she got up slowly. She then walked over to mitsu, looking a little unsure.
"I almost forgot to give you this..." She held up her hands to show her the note that was given to her. "This is from the mantis man..the one who helped me escape the lab..." she held out the paper for mitsu to take.

With a weak smile, he just stayed put for the time being, "I think I'll hang around a little longer. It's quieter out here."
Turning around to see what she was looking at, Blade saw Poke approaching them. An eyebrow quirked up at the piece of paper she held, wondering what might be inscribed in it. He still had to wonder what exactly this mantis man looked like; never before had he met any insect-like-being and all.
Quietly, he just watched the two girls for a moment before looking around at the gardens around them. Earlier he had been too mentally distracted to really take in the sights, so now was a good time to observe the place.

"Mantis?" Questioningly Mitsu reached up and took the note. She could almost remember, it had been so long. "K...kilo?" Unfolding the paper carefully her eyes slowly followed over the haphazardly written text. It was hard to decipher and wasn't always in English but it was obvious Mitsu understood, at least for the most part. The further down the page she got the sadder her eyes became. Finally she got to the end and did not know what to make of the words. The majority of the note had been Kilo declaring how happy he was to know that she had friends. Someone to watch out for her in his absence. But the end of the letter had come up short. Between the odd language that Mitsu only knew words of and the horrible writing, she didn't understand.
"I don't understand this last part." Mitsu shook her head lightly before she finally looked up at Poke. "What...happened to him?" If they were to look at the letter, in crude text would be the phrase 'Poate ne vom întâlni într-o altă viaţă.'

Poke had been wondering what her reaction would be to the letter this whole time. Weather she would be upset or even happy at it, but she appeared saddened, and this wasn't much of a surprise to her.
"The last I saw of the man- er, I mean Kilo, was when he gave the note, but he said he would be alright..." poke replied to mitsu when she asked what happened, remembering to use the name now that she knew it.

Neither really knew what to make of the conversation, in part due to the intoxication that was lingering over them... Especially Yuki, who apparently never had learned what moderation meant. Even after all of his strange experiences and lapses in memory when he'd gone to the bar with Neko back home.
Yuki was staring at his goblet as though waiting for it to magically refill itself as Mitsu took her leave... Hitsu processed that Mitsu was upset, and apparently that it was Neko's fault since he was the one she glared at awkwardly.
"Why'd you do that?" She asked, frowning. The girl probably would have gotten up, too, had her legs not felt strange.

As Tobi curled up next to her for a nap, Riyo awkwardly smiled. "Does this mean you're *hic* not mad at me anymore?" She had apparently been worried about that since they left the hotsprings. It wasn't like she meant to do it. He shouldn't be so sore (no pun intended) over the whole situation. "Tell ya what. Next time we take a bath, I'll scrub your back or somethin' like that. So no hard feelins, right?"
Atticus was trying to divide his attention between the elder and the drunkard under the table. He was interested in hearing about this potential problem, but the whole thing with the dog was just too funny.
No longer human, huh? Did he mean that physically or mentally?
His thoughts were broken when Riyo started talking to the dog again. "Maybe we should put her to bed..."
Atticus then noticed Hitsu and Yuki's inebriated appearance. "... Probably them too."

Silently, Blade remained where he was and watched the two girls as Mitsu went over the contents of the note. Judging by her increasingly sad expression, he could only assume that this 'Kilo' person had meant a lot to her. And seeing how he had assisted with Poke's escape, he figured that would mean Kilo was punished if he was caught doing so. Though, he wasn't exactly sure how severe that punishment would be..
The drunk woman under the table and her ramblings were surely amusing, but as the raven suggested, it may be good to get the intoxicated to their rooms.
"Yes... an excellent idea. I hope you all enjoyed your meal," he said softly, before calling for one of the servants to guide them to their quarters.

"I...guess I can help with that. Can you get Riyo while I herd the other two?" Getting out of his seat Neko moved over to Hitsu and Yuki. His attention was aimed at Hitsu first, since she had asked him a question. "We are in a deeper mess than we originally thought. We deserved to know what was going on and she never told us." Neko reached down to try and help Hitsu from her chair. "Now come on, they are going to show us where to stay for the night. They probably have nice soft beds, with fluffy blankets and the lot." He hoped that would be enough of a distraction to keep her from retaliating.
Once he was done helping Hitsu from her seat he turned to Yuki. "I...think you've had enough." Taking hold of the goblet he moved it away from the feline before holding out his hand to help him up. "Come on, they are going to show us where we can crash for the night." Silently he prayed neither of them would puke on him on the way. Besides not being very enjoyable he was leery about going back to the bath house....especially alone.
As Riyo spoke to Tobi he snuggled in a little closer giving a soft yip of acknowledgment. How much he actually understood of what she was telling him was up in the air but that didn't seem to matter. When she asked about no hard feelings he placed a paw on her hand and jabbered softly in dog.

"I've know Kilo since I was small. I used to be scared of him. I would scream and throw things when he came into my room, but he never seemed to mind." She seemed to focus on the letter as she spoke, her eyes tracing over the sloppy lettering. "He always brought me nice things, stuff that Suto couldn't know I had. I had a small toy for the longest time but Suto...." Her memory seemed to lapse as she remembered what happened. Suddenly she could no long recall the toy nor the joy it had brought her. Instead all she seemed to remember was the pain it had caused from having it.
She shuttered a little remembering that Suto had dragged her all the way to the incinerator. He had been angry when he found the toy, so furious his face was far beyond what she had ever seen. She could remember being thrown on the floor of the morgue clutching the object wanting to keep it. She had so desperately wanted to keep it. He had wanted to know who had given it to her and for the first time Mitsu had lied. For that lie and having the toy she was beaten, forced to throw her toy in the incinerator, and left in the morgue for five days with only water and no food. Luckily, Suto never found out who had given her the toy, she would never say, but it was hard sometimes to see Kilo. He was nice to her, kind and gentle, but his possible friendship frightened her. Suto had beaten her over a toy....what would he do if he knew she had a friend?

Hitsu still had a frown on her face when Neko explaind his reasoning, though truth be told she really didn't process it.
The words soft, bed and blanket seemed to make her eyes light up, though. "Ohh... That sounds wonderful..." Although awkwardly, she got up with his aid and leaned against him. That was funny... She didn't remember her feet feeling quite so heavy. Why did the ground look crooked?
Offering a glare up to his fellow feline, Yuki reluctantly got up in silence. He wasn't any better than Hitsu in terms of walking; Neko would get to have all sorts of fun leading them both at once.

Poke listened to her story sadly, feeling bad at how she had been scared of him at first as well, and yet, he still helped her out. She wondered if she should of made him come with her. He said he would be alright....but what if he wasn't?
"dammit, I should of beaten the crap out of suto when I had the chance!" poke said, folding her arms. "This guy is the worst, ughh I can't stand it!"
