Isabella looked at him for a moment, unsure of what he meant. "What are you talking about?" She asked, trying to think of how she might have angered Selena. It didn't take but a moment before she had remembered. "Oh god... Shadow, that was... I mean... well..." She shook her head. There was no explanation for last night. "How angry is she?"

Shadow let out a sigh, "She was incredibaly angry last night but I think she has clamed down for now... but tht might change if she runs into you again. I am sure she will stay civil though as long as you do not do something like that again." Shadow said. he was more than a little worried about the both of them, he saw a side of Selena last night that he did not wish anyone to experiance.

Isabella nodded. "I suppose I should hope for that? I wouldn't wish to fight with her. I have to live with her after all." She walked to a cabinet full of plates. It was rarely used and thus the perfect hiding place for Isabella's favorite whiskey.

Shadow took a swig of his blood as he forced unplesant thoughts from his mind, things were going to get tough from now on. "We can only hope she will be nice, she really is a very gentle lady unless you get on her nerves. We all have to live together, I think things are going to get difficult from here... but that is my pesimism talking there though." Shadow said as he cracked his neck.

"When are things not difficult?" Isabella asked, turning to face him again. She looked at the glass in her hand and set it down, choosing instead to drink it directly from the bottle.

"Things are very rarely not difficult." Shadow admited, his experiance had taught him that things would never be easy. Nothing was ever easy in this day and age. "We can only cope with things as they come. Little else to do." Shadow said as he took another swig from his bottle.

"I'm tired of coping," Isabella said. "I want to... god, I don't even know. I want to fight to the death and scream until I can't speak and run until my legs give out... I just..." she sighed and shook her head. "I just want to do something." She added, heading for the door. "Would you tell Selena it was a mistake and it won't happen again? I've gotta go."

"And you think I am not?" Shadow muttered to himself. He knew exactly what Isabella was talking about. He had felt something similar back before the war with Lilith when he grew tired of just sitting around and he knew that it would build up in him again now with what he knew from Kashan. "I will tell her you said that. I am sure she will lighten up after that." Shadow said a she watched Isabella leave. He did wonder what she was going to do out there btu kept himself in chek.

Isabella turned and left. It took all her control not to run for the front door. She had to get out. She felt as though the walls were crowding in on her. The cool air was refreshing, but it fixed nothing. It's better this way, Isabella. If you end it before it begins it won't hurt so badly. And you don't really want to take him away from her, do you? She tried to tell herself no, but she couldn't. She wanted him more than than she should, and she knew it.

Shadow stared at his bottle for a while, his mind was drawing a blank on everything, it just refused to work today and that may have been because he had not slept last night. "Wonder why she did it?" he asked himself, she cast it off as a mistake and could only wonder what drove her to do it. He just let out a sigh and drank some more blood as stood there.

Town was barely a five minute run from the Manor and that was simply not far enough. Isabella turned the opposite way and took off. She was determined not to stop until morning and see for herself exactly what the sun would feel like. Thanks to Victoria she already knew she wouldn't die, but Victoria never did tell her what it felt like...

Shadow shook his head, something was not right. It was the tone Isabella had used when she said she had to go. Shadow set down his bottle and moved out of the manor, "Don't do anything to rash Isabella." Shadow said to the wind as it blew past him. The soft breeze was somewhat relaxing to him. "What is going threw your mind?"

Isabella stopped and turned when she heard Shadow's voice. Luckily he wasn't near enough to see her. "I'm trying to figure that out." She said back, barely raising her voice for it to carry to him.

Shadow barely managed to pick out Isabella's words on the wind, it was strange that this would happen but he had seen many strange things in his lifetime to just run with these things. "I see. Don't run to far now, I know you can look after yourself but you are my friend." he said, his voice carried over the wind.
