Albert smiled,"Nice to meetcha, Li." He looked up in Tokeru's direction,"So it's up to him, eh? Kind of scary." Albert put his hands down, away from his handguns. It seemed that he gained the trust of Li for the while. He had hoped to keep it this way. Li was a Lycathrope. Albert realized that if he did anything that would make her distrust him, it would be a long and terrible fight.
"It'd be a lot of... fun to be in a group. I haven't exactly done well on my own lately." Albert chuckled.

Liora merely nodded her head in reply to Feather's comment. It seemed that he was more inclined to be friendly, now; the evil aura he had emitted earlier seemed to vanish. Good. Now, it shouldn't be so difficult to silence the rabid, unrefined instincts which occasionally surfaced in her mind.
However, Liora swiftly became concerned with an entirely different matter. The hairs on her neck still stood on end, and she felt something mildly awry. She removed her hand from her revolver and acted casual, but Liora could feel her senses continually grasp at something that just wasn't there. Twice she halted a low growl before her vocal chords could produce it, and she managed to restrain herself from observing her surroundings with utmost suspicion. Her face remained the epitome of serenity, so she knew that her human companions would not recognize her anxiety. They most likely did not feel that they were being observed, either. Silly humans.
As Feather presumable awaited a response from Tokeru, Liora allowed herself to gaze at her surroundings. She did so in a tourist-like manner, and such an expression was not difficult for the actress to pull of. This was an area of town she was unfamiliar with. Liora suspected that she would never be one-hundred percent familiar with New York; the great city was simply too large. She scanned the windows of nearby buildings with her eyes first. Perhaps this new observer was a mere resident of the area. They did make a strange sight, the three of them: a hollywood-glamourous woman in a red dress, a winged man, and a third individual, all armed. So much for keeping a low profile. Liora really didn't want the NYPD called in for a report of strange, suspicious loiterers.
"Shall we press onwards?" she asked.
((Unfortunately, I'm out for the night. gonk Sorry, guys))

Tokeru glanced down at the other hunter and shrugged. "It dosnt really make a difference to me. He can join or not."
Suddenly, he felt another presence approach. He drew his pistol and turned around. There was a vampire.

As he looks onwards, he notices the woman in red relax as the newcomer seems to present his friendship...curiously though, shortly afterwards she seems to display signs of anxiety, looking about the area as if a predator might be present...he notices her agitation is seemingly a sole concern, as the newcomer and the winged man across the square display nothing, nor do they notice her state... He could not probe the woman's Aura without opening himself up to possible detection...but as he noticed the clash of reactions between the group, her being the only one concerned while the others deemed not to notice even her distress, he grew more curious... Suddenly, he realized that she had every right to suspect a predator...he was it. Only a lycan's base racial instinct might be able to provide a hint of his presence, especially in the proximity of such a blood-stained and power-saturated Elder as himself, Aura or not. Her body's entire heritage and structure would be screaming a fight or...more accuratley in this case "Flight" call of Action... Well...Kerri had her hands filled...why not enjoy a little solo hunt for himself? His former Deathdealer career was saturated with the blood of lycans...one more would be a good nostalgia buffer...

Astaroth feels humans and immortals in the area. He hides his true form better, pulling his aura in, concentrating quite hard to do so. He feels his way to the auras, and finds some Hunters. 'Hmm... perhaps they will help me find Teslae.'
He walks up to them, noting the number of them. 'They'll be easy if they attack me...' he thought, tightening his illusory ponytail, and pushin ghis shades up again.
'Good evening, sirs and lady. I was wondering if you could humour me some information. You see, I'm searching for an olde friend of mine, and I hear he's very well known to those who wander during the night time.' He grinned at them, trying to bring them in peacefully.
'His last name is Teslae.'

Hokaru Moneru ((Last post for me to)) Tokeru glanced down at the other hunter and shrugged. "It dosnt really make a difference to me. He can join or not." Suddenly, he felt another presence approach. He drew his pistol and turned around. There was a vampire. "State your name an desire immortal" ((*cough*...the only one who might be able to detect anything of my presence at the moment would be the lycan hunter girl there...and she would only get enough of a pang to think of things that go bump in the night...the only reason she can detect anything amiss at all is because of a combination based off of our racial sensitivity and the sheer strength of my inherent Vampiric nature based and sprouted from the almost Ancestral time scale of my Career...you don't have her lycan sensitivities...))

Phaedra glanced about as she walked through the always croweded streets of the city. Flares of auras jumped out at her from all sides, but she thought nothing of it. Since her return she had found that she could detect things more readily than before...possibly from the abundance of people. In all honesty, she was trying hard not to cause a scene in the middle of the street. The last thing she needed was publicity...at least for right now.
These thoughts, however, did not keep fer from using her "endowments" to have a few mortals run into telephone poles as they watched her and the subtly sway of her hips as she walked. Turning a corner to a less inhabited area of the city, she felt the familiar sensation of stronger auras in teh area. Exactly where, she was uncertain, but they were definately either immortal, or more aware of the existance of immortals than the petty humans of the streets. This could prove interesting indeed.
Without hesitiation, she began walking briskly in the direction of where she thought she would find a good conflict. While she would not exaclty get in on the "action" so called, it would be pleasueable to watch...at least she would get a good laugh out of the evening. Upon hearing voices, she ascended a fire escape, looking down on what appeared to be a small gathering of people.
A flash of milky skin could be seen, and a gleam of form fitting black leather in the moonlight, and she was sitting on the ledge of the building, her knee high black boots dangling over the edge idely. A soft grin came to her perfectly glossed lips as she watched, absentmindedly twirling a lock of thick black hair in her fingers.

Her keen senses were doing a veritable cha-cha as Liora recognized two other individuals within close proximity. These were more tangible to her. Their presences were solid, irrefutable, and almost reassuring. They proved to her that her abilities had not gone haywire, yet she still felt that unintelligable wrongness that suggested otherwise. Being as headstrong as she was, the notion of 'flight' had failed to cross Liora's mind. Rather, she was unknowingly filled with as much curiousity as her observer and with a poignant streak of absolute distrust and loathing. Something was, indeed, quite wrong.
The first of the two new presences actually approached the three of them. She turned to face him, her golden-hued eyes gleaming with masked emotions. After allowing her hands to fall peaceably limp at her sides, she felt her digits brush against her opposite thight holster and the hunting knife it contained. Through the thick leather fabric, she could feel the subtle pang of the damned silver metal. It was not a painful sensation; rather, it most closely resembled a certain...awareness. She was aware of the silver present in the blade on both the mental and intuitive levels. Her intuitive knowledge is what urked her now. But, because she was unwillinging to jeopardize her position by crossing her arms, she simply allowed her hands to hand. She could deal with the awareness; she'd already gotten use to the sensation which constantly tingled at her thigh from it.
"I don't believe I have." she replied, matching the newcomer's 'politeness' mark for mark. That uncanny sense was prodding at her again; she felt remotely sure that this individual was neither human nor hunter. That lodged him in the 'enemy' corner of her mind, but Liora was not looking for conflict at the moment. She wanted to finish the mission at hand and then linger around Tokeru and Feather long enough to discover the location of this 'Haven' she'd heard of.
Liora continued to observe the second of the two new auras, but this she did not pay as much attention to. The presence did not strike her as hostile at the moment, so it was less of a threat than the other one and the presence which she was unable to identify.

((Tokeru is always in a state of meditation, that incresed his awareness to sounds, smells and sights. Even if he cannot see or hear you, he can feel something. He is not always sure what, but he does feel something.))
Tokeru saw the Demon approach, and another one come up a fireescape to spy on them. He quickly moved off and found a vantage point behind her. He used all his skills and made no sound as he approached the female demon. A succubus. Bah In one swift movement, he grabbed her head and drew a dagger. In the same movement he placed that dagger on her throat and pressed his cross ring into her flesh.
"Enjoying the view?" He hissed.
Too many people were showing up, immortals and otherwise. He hoped he would not need to fully reveal himself, but he would if he had too. He had brought the symbol with him, in preparation for the mission. The symbol of Mephisto. A high ranking demon, and also one that he had slain while away. He had Mephisto's ring and sword. And that would cause any demon to stop and wonder.

((Touche' for the both of you. But Tokeru, you must take into account that Astande has been in mastery of many forms of meditational/spiritual practice (Seinshinteki Kyoyo and Prana Bindu prominently) for centuries upon centuries more than you. You have wings, and you are an immortal...but you are still only 19 to his 873...my strength in all things also grows with my age, as is the way of vampirical abilities as well as the natural. No biggie really, i'm just giving you a heads up 3nodding ANYWAYS smile ) He hesitates as even more figures enter the scene...the one in the square being one he recognises...Another Damn Demon...and by the reaction of the winged man to the woman on the rooftop, two of 'em to boot...if that ring of his meant anything. Well...he was equipped to take down both species at the moment...he always had weapons for any situation...But the Demons presented more of an annoyance nowadays than the lycans, one of whome he hadn't had a problem with in quite awhile... It was interesting how things had turned out since he'd left the coven...More and more lycans he ran into just happened to be hunters rather than support their own race...Well...he could always multi-task if he had to...but soon he would have to get back to Haven and see what use he could get out of that Oni's spear...it was quite a catch...
