It might just be my natural affinity for messed up musicals, but I loved the old musical numbers. But as Ota said it is all filler now. Plus they go off character in their own universe. World domination bent monster turns into a gay guy. They even showed a lame a** future version of himself that was supposed to have been averted for the world dominating one and yet still. Gay baby. Oh wait, Peter used to be just a thoughtless p***k, but now he is actually a total retard? Really? That isn't even developing the characters, it is forgetting what they are like because you aren't clever enough to think up storylines for them anymore. I haven't even turned on my television for months, and I blame that show.
EDIT: At least futurama is back.

It's called character decay. It happens a lot in shows and series that run for an exceptionally long time. For other examples, see The Simpsons and Spongebob.

Cookie, stop bringing up TV tropes.
On that note, Peter was Flanderized, not decayed.

Yeah. I bought a TV to put in my room and then I realized I can't hook my 360 up to it so I have no use for it. Anything I watch is online or on DVR.

Really it is a sign that the show should have died when they canceled it. @ Ota. did you have something they were watching on TV yet?

Fun fact- Family Guy has ben cancelled twice.
The second time, Seth recast the show and called it American Dad.
I actually like American Dad, it's evolved.
@Owwin- What?

Did you show something that the family was watching on television? You know like a parody of another show, and then have them comment on it? That could take up a few minutes. What show are we jealous of that we could have them watch.

They once made fun of Carrot Top for relying heavily on props.
I WONDER WHO ELSE HEAVILY RELIES ON SOMETHING FOR LAUGHS.
