Why do you ask?
Because of the knife stab through the ice?

I don't think he does.
Why?

Tres Ecstuffuan A good aggressive defense against high or mid roundhouses though is the Teep, or the foot jab. Even the muay thai kick with its effecient upward chopping path, takes a curved path of motion and as we know the quickest way to get somewhere is the straight path. If two objects set off from the same point to arrive to one other point, then the one that takes the straight path will arrive first. So when someone throws the round kick, immediately throw the foot jab and they will be knocked off balance and thrown back so that the kick will miss out of range. This is because the round kick takes a round path, while the foot jab takes a quick path. This can however, be prevented if you set up your kicks with punches and force the opponent to shift there weight in a way where they won't be able to throw the foot jab quickly enough to counter the round kick. linearity is an illusion... you have joints, not rocket launchers. It is possible to get a spring action with your arms or legs, but on short notice, the coil and eject motion will typically exceed the time required for the skilled opponent to connect. All of our nerves fire off essentially at the same speed, so unless we become precognitive, we have some serious difficulty lining up a block not already prepared. one thing though you might look into, is body attacking and body blocking. Essentially you would bow or bend a portion of your body slightly but suddenly, such as a swing of the hips, twisting inward or backward, and so on. A lot of the harder parts of the body are actually very close to the torso - shoulders, shoulder blades, hips, pelvis, and so on. Combining "hitting" with Lee's 1 inch punch might even be possible. But Trust me on the Malta Goya - Gawd awful shyte...

Well... his post basically has his wrist, with him on unstable ground sliding around on ice completely overpowering my stable base, with a lower center of gravity, pulling with my whole body.
And does so with almost no effort while he uses what is presumably a fairly advanced power (Ice jumping about 3 feet through thin air to invade my body and destroy my organs).

I assumed most people factored in super stats for their characters...

I'll have to look into it, if there is someone wanting to toy with water and ice.

Well, there's "Superhuman" strength. Which is somewhat "Standard". Basically what you'd get out of dedicated physical artists. Martial Artists, Athletes, etc. That's "Standard".
Then there's Superhero strength that some characters have like "I can lift cars over my head".
If he had human levels... his counter to my counter would probably result with him flat on his face, sliding across the ice, taking a kick to the head and giving me a position to take a mount on him and finish him off.
If he has Superhero levels, then his counter should go off as intended.
It makes a difference. Honestly? I don't care either way, I can roll with it. No cries of "FOUL" from this. However, the two levels will result in massively different posts for my next turn.
