I believe the Cupcake's official name was Vanilla-Vanilla or some such, that's why I typed it that way. Anyway it was vanilla cake and vanilla icing that was all full of vanilla bean bits and atop it all was a light sprinkling of vanilla sugar. It sounds good right? Wrong, there was so much vanilla that the darn thing was actually kind of nasty. The Vanilla in 1/2 of one cupcake (which is all I could eat) was easily enough flavor for a full 10" X 10" cake. sweatdrop The Ginger Carrot Cupcake was quite yummy, but there was more of an Orange than Ginger flavor to it, with a lot of Orange Zest in the frosting. It was wonderful and more than made up for all the disappointment of the other cupcake. whee

Reading that just made my mouth water so badly! Doesn't even matter that you said the vanilla one tasted nasty! xd

Ahh darn.. I arranged certain aspects of a trip to
MegaCon and ended up with a job. This is one of
the bizarre times, when earning a paycheck sort
of sucks and yet doesn't. Think of an event that
you're kept from by a crucial something or other
and you'll understand.

Missing a convention or Gaia event: sad

Earning money or a passing grade: smile

One must balance the flavor for optimal tastiness
'n overall pwnage of all cupcake-kind. My personal
favorite: Yellow cake with chocolate fudge frosting
and a dash of color on top~

Even though I'm a chocoholic, for some reason when it comes to cupcakes I tend to prefer vanilla with vanilla frosting. It's weird. Maybe it's because chocolate cake/frosting is usually just not chocolaty enough for me. I guess my taste buds would rather have vanilla than end up sorely disappointed by the lack of chocolate factor! blaugh
