Three of the five shots from the female's gun richocheted off of his armor, however, the other two were able to make hits, if not direct. The one richocheted off of a knnecap plate in the armor and into the underside Rhator's left forearm. The armor stopped it from completely blowing out the other side and it was stuck in his arm, the anti-demon substance rapidly destroying Rhators flesh. The otherdirectly hit Rhator's open stomach, right above the lower most ab muscle. It blew through Rhator's body, leaving a small smoking hole in Rhator. This began healing very slowly. This scared Rhator for his skin was normally able to heal over bullet wounds in mere seconds.

All this happened right before Rhator reached the peak of his jump. From that position he used his good arm to propel the massive spear at the femal vampire, to keep her from firing anymore of those vicious bullets at his body.

The force of the throw sent Rhator backwards in the air, without ground to support him he couldn't help the laws of physics. He began to fall back to the ground a good distance away from the two hunters.

There was so little to do in these places when your companions all dissapear. After several hours of looking for the missing friend she wandered to the docks.

Tokeru flew with all his speed, trying to dislodge the pesky blood sucking mosquitoes that plagued him. He turned to dive, and was interrupted by a bullet flying through his wings. These vampires didnt want to kill him, they wanted him alive.

"Suck on this you bastards." With six shots in his gun, he opened fire on the vampires. He shot the closest one straight in the forhead. The bullet exploded out of the gun, and into the vampire's brain. It dropped like a stone to the ground, but didnt explode into ash. "What the ******** is going on here" He yelled out to the vampires. He drew a bead on the second leading vampire and fired, pegging this one in the chest. The second vampire dropped to the ground. "3 down, 2 to go." The last two were gaining on him and he fired four shots in rapid succession on them. Dropping one more, the last one however, kept coming. Tokeru reholstered his gun and barely had time to draw his sword before they clashed. The vampire had modifications done to him it seemed. For tokeru could see that both shots had hit the vampire, and that it was dead. It just didnt know it yet.

((Not zombie vamp. But, it's like when someone takes a mortal wound and yet finishes a certain task then dies. Kinda like that.))

The vampire had blood shooting from it's chest and from the artery in it's leg. It didn't even have a heart anymore, it was completly pulverised by the bullet, and the leg had a massive hole the size of Tokeru's fist through it, yet the vampire kept coming. Tokeru gasped in shock as he swung wildly at the rushing vampire. Even though it was hit many more times, the vampire did not stop it's mad rush. Tokeru could see no escape that would leave him unharmed, and so reseathed his sword and met the vampire claw to claw.

As tokeru grappled with the dying Vampire. He couldn't help but feel guilty. It was after all his fault that they were working for Draegan. It was his fault that they were implanted with the subdural chips that controlled them. But, it was not his fault that they didn't even fight it. He fought the chip, and won.

So you think child. "That voice again. Why do i keep hearing it. It urges me to be more dangerous, more carless with my life, why."

Tokeru gained an advantage over the vampire and finally laid it to it's rest. Burdened with an extra load, he couldn't stay flying and carry his equipment, so he dropped the vampire. Down and down the vampire fell, to splatter 10 story's below, on the hard pavement.

The sheer size of New York city never failed to inspire feelings of awe in Liora, and this impression was one thing that had not changed along with every other aspect of Liora's life. Buildings towered over her like hulking monoliths, thousands of scents and sounds immediately assaulted her sensitive nose and ears, and the air hung thick with the city's busy soul. Liora curled her hands against her hips and leaned backwards, exposing her face to the New York night sky. The light pollution was such that the stars were barely visible, but her keen eyes could make their silhouettes out nonetheless. To these stars she flashed one of her crooked grins. One side of her mouth showed more brilliant white teeth than the other, but it gave her a reckless and wild expression rather than dampening her appearance. Then, her focus returned to her surroundings. She inhaled deeply and held her breath a moment before exhaling. Though scents came to her in a great hodge-podge of activity outdoors, she was able to discern most scents from each other and apply logic to some of that most. From what she smelled now, she concluded that there were no immediate threats lurking around the corner. Ensuring that her revolver was concealed beneath the skirt of her crimson dress, Liora began to walk alongside the main road of the city. Despite the late hour, the road still was not devoid of automobiles, so Liora clung to the sidewalks.

She was on a hunt, but her 'prey' was not vampires,lycanthropes,or daemons tonight. Because the moon was new and the time before her next shift was ample, Liora wished to seek out a fellow hunter and inquire about the position of this 'haven' she had been hearing of. Though New York's great size inspired awe in her heart, it also brought about a painful sense of loneliness; New York City was too big a place to survive for long without allies. Knowing this, Liora allowed the lonely sensation to remain in her heart. She figured it was pivotal to her survival.
