Actually, yes Cheshi... not a lot. The homework I'm doing involves three paragraphs written out aobout a specific type. I'm doing katakana so I can pick up a few symbols while I'm doing it... *intends to learn as much Japanese as he can*

Honestly, katakana's a rather easy pick... *didn't expect it to be when he picked it*
I'm supposed to look up the creator of it and a little bit of its history. Katakana doesn't havea specific creator; it began life as a shortened version of kanji used by Buddhist monks to show the common populace how it was pronounce and was streamlined from there.
