Kayla stepped out of the changing room. She had put her book and the flowers she had recieved from Kiyoshi into her dorm room and had changed into her two piece, dark green bathing suite. She put her towel at the edge of the spring and slowly walked in. She didn't like heat or hot water that much, so it took her a while to adjust to the warmth. Finding a nice spot to sit down, she sat down and pulled her hair up into a loose, messy bun. She didn't really want to get her hair wet.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, remembering everything that had happened the past few hours. If her first day started off like it did... did this mean that everyday would be like that? Chaotic and totally random?
No matter how much she didn't like it, she wished she were home.

He had been mad for some time and decided it was time to relax. Taking his shirt and hat off before even getting into the changing room he haphadazardly threw them to the side and got ready to run out and jump in the spring, wearing only his blue jeans and boxers. but just as he was got out into the main swminig area he saw a head with the worst hair bun he had ever seen, he slowly and silently aproached the edge of the water. part of his mind wondered if movment was his special power, he could swim, jump, and run well. but that was very much so a very small thought compared to what he would do a bout the girl in the pool. he accidently let out a whistle like what a construction worker would use when seeing apretty woman. it might have been crude but it was instinct now.

Kayla turned her head apon hearing the whistle. She wasn't sure whether it was indicated towards her or not, but there wasn't really anybody else in the hot springs. She looked at Zack and rose an eyebrow.
"Are you following me?" she asked, crossing her arms.

His face looked at her with shock, he thought maybe it was her but he haden't known till now. "damn.....you realy have grown....uh...in uh...." he backed up a bit, he knew in a second what he wanted to do. "No! I'm not following you. I just came here to swim.....I was mad......." he looked a little flustered and slowly bcaked up, getting ready to run and dive in.

Kayla smiled. She would have said something along the same lines, but she still only remembered him a little from their youth. She frowned slightly, her smile fading.
"Mad? Why were you mad?" she asked. Why would he be mad? Mad at her? What had she done? Nothing! He stoll HER book, not the other way around.

He looke drealy mad now. "cause.......that other guy.......he,........I.....you're...." he had never said it to her before. it seemed so hard to say. he made a mad dash at the pool and leaped over her head, then dove in head first, not much of a splash but atleast now he was in the water. he had always said he had a crush on her but now he wanted to tell her exactly how he felt. he stayed under swiming around her trying to figure out just how to put it. The only idea he had was to do something more romantic, so he tried to swim behind her so he could sneak up.

"You what? You were jealou--"
She ducked and closed her eyes, as he dived over top of her. She opened her eyes, getting a little bit splashed in the face. She sighed and looked around, wondering where he had gone. What was he trying to say? She sighed. He had to come back up for air sometime.

Rivin walked up to the edge of the spring, still fully clothed and the large piece of dirt and grass still on the side of his face as his mouth hung open. Slowly he took of his shoes and his soacks, then quickley dropped himself into the spring cloths still on, he lowered himsefl into the deeper sectiong where his face met the water, the dirt and grass seemed to melt off his face and into the water floating away from him. Around Rivin the water seemed dark from all the dirt that was on him from sleeping in the courtyard three nights in a row.

Slowy he surfaced behind her and was able to squeak out the words in a kind of whisper, "I still love you, I always will." he sudenly went back uder scared and embaresed. he didn't know what would happen but he needed another minute to think.......which is when he swam into a dirt cloud, and then into the guy named rivin, of course he had no clue what his name is but I put it down to help keep the story straight.

Kayla turned around, her cheeks a little flushed with embarassment.
"What?" she said, but nobody was there. She sighed. She wanted to relax, not to become even more confused. She looked over at the clouded part of the hotspring where somebody else had jsut dived in. She closed her eyes, trying to relax.

Rivin turned around to see who bumped into him, he wasn't in a very good mood latlely, latley things had just been BAD, he looked at who had bumped into with dark eyes and an emotionless face.
"Hello...I'm sorry 'bout the mess, I'm not having a very good day" he said sulenly as he looked at him, quickley Rivin duncked his head under the steaming water and popped his head, looking even less happier the moment before.
"So...whats your name? I'm Rivin" he said extending his hand.

Zack looked up at him. "hey, you should take a shower not fill the pool with dirt. I swear, I finnaly get in with a really hot girl and just when I think I'm going to have a nice tiem with her someone throws a huge cloud of dirt in the theing." After a moment he loked back at Kayla realizing she must have heard what he had just said.........he would make sure to make plenty of time for her in a minute, he just wanted to give this other guy a good talking over. "and my name is Zack...., she" he pointed to the girl in the two piece. "shes Kayla."

Kayla actually hadn't really heard what Zack had said. She was too busy thinking of what she had heard earlier... 'I still love you and always will'. Someone had been behind her. She snapped back into reality when Zack introduced her to whoever else had just jumped into the hot spring. She blinked and simply waved.

Rivin looked a Zack with emtionless eyes. Then he spoke in the monotonus voice.
"Frankly, I don't really care...and frankly I'm new here so I have no idea where anything is, on top of that I've had to sleep in the bush for the past 3 nights AND I've made a complet fool out of myself, AND I just came from ripping my face off the ground. So if you don't mind LEAVE ME ALONE!" he boomed then stomped towards the edge again crossing his arms as he glared a Zack.

"Zack!" Kayla said, crossing her arms and giving him an angry look. "What did you do to upset the poor guy?" Kayla waded over to the other boy and sighed.
"Don't worry about him... he's just grumpy," she shook her head, rolling her eyes. She then put on a soft smile.
"You said you were new here? So am I. I've gotten lost three times today,"
She laughed slightly. "What did you say your name was?"
