Looking around at the courtyard, Summer felt empty. He looked up and saw Joy. He smiled at her, not sure if she saw him or not, but he really wanted to talk to her. "Joy, do you want to go for a wlk?" he asked her as he appeared next to her. But he kept his gaze on the ground, not daring to look up at her.

He looked up at her and smiled weakly."I...I guess you could say that." he said as he stood up and pointed towards the hot Springs. "Lets go over there. I want to talk to you privately." he said as he offered her his hand to help her stand.

Damnit I wish I would stop shaking. I feel so stupid.

Hearing her thoughts, Shadow smiled at her. "No, nothings happened, it's just that I need to talk to you." he said "And I'm kinda nervous and anxious." he said as he reverted his gaze back at the ground.

"Yeah, I can, it's one of the powers I got when I woke my Lullaby." he said as he continued to stare at the ground. He then looked up at her and smiled.

"Joy, for the past few months, we've been friendsa and I enjoy your company alot. And I know that I asked you out once, not knowing what it meant though. And you agreed. But since then, and the time when we found out about how special we were, I've grown more found of you. I seem to be unable to get you off of my mind. I see your face everywhere I look. And was just wondering if.....if you had any feelings for me the way I do?" he asked as he looked at her, waiting, just waiting for her to reply.

As these words reache his ears, he felt crushed, but he didn't let her see that.".........oh, of....of course. That's ok." he said as he stood up and turned and started to walk away. "Oh, and whoever it is that it is.....tell him that he's lucky and that he better be good to you." he said as he truned and walked away.

After he was out of her earshot, he punched the nearest wall, blasting a hole right through it and causing the whole building to shake. There was a large boom as his fist made contact. "DAMNIT!! Why the hell did I even bother asking. I knew what she was going to say. I could see it in her eyes." he said to himself. He felt like his heart had been renched in two. First he had lost his mate and know Joy. "SO....WHY...THE......HELL....DID...I...DO...IT?" he asked himself as he punched the wall with ever word, creating holes with each punch.

He then sat down, his back against the wall and let tears flow down his face, he didn't care who saw at the time. Or what Lullaby he was, there was no love to be found in his life, and probably never would be again. "You have nothing left, all that matters now id=s to fight Void and then leave this place if you even survive the battle. You knew that this was going to happen. You knew she just wanted to be friends. You knew it all." he said to himself as the tears continued to flow, but he just saat there, staring up into the stars. "So now, what are you going to do?" he asked himself.

As Shadows stood up and punched the wall one more time, he heard Uwasa voice reach his ears just as it made contact. There was a resonding crash as he turned around andthe wall fell down. ".....um sure." he said as he walked over to him and picked her up, careful not to hurt her. His eyes were bloodshot. "Must be nice." he said softly.

Setting Susie down, he closed his eyes and teleported to the training hall, it was time to get ride of his emotions for the time being.I'll be there, just you see he thought to himself as he disappeared.

Jy yelped tripping on some snow but jumped up and kept on running carrying her suitcase.Momo was hanging on the last strands of Joys hair.Joy lept into the air sailing over some trees,and landed to push off again."GOD!!Im so baka!!..now lemme me see japans west.." Joy turned and started to lepaing in that direction.
