He was not going to let this beat him! This was NOT going to be his master. True the odds were completely unfair, the system of this world set against him by people far stronger then he, sure he'd been exiled and considered as nothing, their rules and dictations sent down from on high, using him like their helpless little pawn, but he was not going to allow that to happen. He wasn't going to surrender himself to THEM. He wasn't going to surrender himself to their self righteous reteric. This was going to be his day. The day he began to unshape the destiny that they had set for him and take hold of his own path. A path that led him to overcome not only their plans for him but everything that they were. He would become greater then they and nothing that they did was going to stop him!!!

it was like the pain was some sick joke as dictated by an unkind god. A rigged game of dice that was set against him. But that didn't matter. Even if the odds were rigged against him it had never stopped him before. He was going play there game and beat them. It was an inevitability. Even if they changed all the rules on him he would continue to endure again and again and the Otobe who held themselves over him as his family and his masters, would fall. Even if he had to tear them down and show them that he was greater then they, they would fall. He would fight his way through their pathetic trials, master all their techniques, and finally he would show them just how very human they were... he didn't necessarily admire the humble, but by the time he was down, his clan would face a reckoning that would humble them down to the truest definition of the term...

He was back on track of the moment, the jutsu's particulars the sole focus of his mind once more as the control of waves fell back in sync. he could tell that they were was something just beyond his grasp. Something that he wasn't seeing. something that he just didn't quite grasp as of yet. Was it the solution to his problem? The exact point of control? He knew that it existed, but testing the extremes he could tell that a middle ground existed, a place and pitch where he could manipulate the waves without fear of harming itself, but the point and problem with it all was finding that exact point. He was definitely making progress but he still couldn't even begin to allow himself to get complacent. He was just barely half way through this arduous process, and he knew it.

It was like he was scraping his brain across a particularly gritty sheet of sand paper. He wasn't even using the frequency at full power and he could easily see why prisoners caved, sometimes after mere moments of being exposed, to this frequency. It was like he was back in his infancy and battling with his second self again. It stirred up deep seeded and long buried issues within him, causing him to in no small way grow aimlessly furious for no apparent reason. It was like this jutsu was trying to undermine everything that he was and had worked for. Taking him back to his days as a mere child who hadn't even gotten a handle of his second self. It was the closest thing to mocking him that a jutsu could be capable of, and it brought out a cold wrath within him like he'd never known...

The anger was fuel for him, biting back the pain and allowing him to focus as he concentrated all his mental efforts back on the jutsu. The secret to controlling the frequencies...he was certain that it didn't have anything to do with intensity now. He kept raising them to a greater and more radical level of intensity within him and yet still they didn't cause him harm, no, it was more about stability than intensity. The loss of control, or rather when the waves caused harm, was when they became unstable while still within his body. This theory in hand, Byakuran continued to shift the waves about, manipulating their states and nuances as he continued to try and determine the exact point of control. If it was about the stability then he didn't need to focus so much on keeping how powerful the waves were in check, but rather concentrate his efforts more on keeping them in a proper form...

Yes, that was it. It WAs about stability, with this single truth in hand his efforts made a great leap in progress, but the battle wasn't over just yet. Focusing on form was a great help, but there was still the matter of actually narrowing down how exactly to maintain the waves stability. He was reaching the point where he could do it while solely keeping them within his second self, but when he would try and convert transmit them into the final product, the wave which was controlled and emitted outside his body, the transference from one state to another sometimes resulted in a loss of stability. He was able to pull it through sometimes, but this wasn't about merely "managing to pull it through". he had to be able to know exactly how to properly conduct the transference from one state to another while still managing to maintain the wave stability within a 100% efficiency, or he couldn't truly say that he'd learned this jutsu...

He face showed a sliver of realization as he picked up on something within the waves as he transferred them between the internal and external phases. There had been something there for a moment, something he hadn't noticed before, a subtlety, that had passed him by until he was looking closely enough at the conversion process to pick it out. Yes... a subtly he would call it. At the point of conversion there was a pivotal moment where the waves seemed to frizzle slightly, an inequality between the two waves where he had to compensate for the difference between them if he wanted the stability to maintain itself. The reason that this was made so difficult was that the space of time was brief, so small, that it was extremely difficult for him to be able to make up the slack every single time. That, and it was wasting chakra to boot. No...there had to be a better way... there had to be a way to preform the change smoothly... like wave rolling across the surface of the water...

That was it... like wave. Smooth and flowing. He didn't need to adjust anything directly AT the point of conversion, that was merely filling in for the inconsistency and still threatened stability risking the loss of control. The key was to adjust the wave a little before the point, and gradually sink it into the wave after the point, spreading out the conversion over a wider period of the wave while still keeping everything completely stable. That was it! That was the secret. He tried it over and over again, the pattern fixed with him now as he tested the theory without limit within him, a wide satisfied smile spilling over his face now as he opened his palm looking down at the scroll. He gave a slightly smile, and discharged a wave of sound into the scroll, low frequency, and watched the parchment tore itself apart, falling into so many useless bits of paper on the wind.

Task completed. He'd managed to do it... he'd mastered the technique. A chuckling escaped his throat, his arms falling down to his sides as he enjoyed the moment. His bloodline was his to command...

Tenshi didn't feel like anything was getting done. He kept trying to pick up the place, but it seemed like nature didn't want to be clean. It would rather have itself littered with broken pieces of itself. He had once again tried to clean up the pieces he had dropped and once again found himself dropping his load and the branches scattered across the ground. He was about ready to give up this training.

If he gave up so quick, then anything he did it would just as easy t give up and say to hell with it. So he picked up the branches and before he could grab the last one, he lost his grip and they fell once again. He threw the remaining stick in his hand on the ground in frustration. For crying out loud, stay on the ground then! He gave an aggravated breath, and went to look for other branches.

Tenshi found a different fallen log, that was rotting. He though it better to put with the pile of other wood to hopefully increase the rate at which the other wood would begin to decompose. After all it was the circle of life. Nature lived to die, to become food for something else. He picked it up and as he did so the log split in half and landed partly on his sore foot. He flung curses at the wood and mother nature itself as he grabbed a hold of his foot. The only positive thought that went through his mind, was how it was now half as heavy.

He could feel himself getting weak and would need to rest as later, if he was allowed. He grabbed a hold of a half of the log and carried it over to the pile. He dropped it on the pile, not even bothering with being careful. He was starting to be in a foul mood, though he would be glad when he was done. I think I'll finish with that last half a log.... I'll be dead if I try any more than that...

He could feel his strength diminishing with every effort he placed into cleaning this place up. He grabbed the piece of rotted wood, and before he could go anywhere his foot slipped on a dusty path and he landed on his butt. I am so done with nature after this... I'll stick to the more urban areas if I can... He gave a sigh before kicking the log away from him. He rested his chin in his hand as he gave himself a short rest.

He stood up and grabbed the rotten log he had kicked. He picked it up and it broke apart in his hands He didn't realize that his kick had done more damage than he thought. The broken pieces fell and hit both his feet. By now they were killing him and he wouldn't be able to stand for a long period of time. He still had yet to get back home at the end of the day. No doubt that was going to be an adventure in itself. If he could only clean the place up a bit more, he would done and wouldn't worry about injuring himself any further.

Tenshi gave a weary sigh. He was at his wits end. He grabbed a few branches at his feet, barely able to bring himself back up. He gathered as much in his hands as he could and walked over to his pile. He dropped the branches onto it and looked around. The area was cleaner, but far from tidy. He wasn't about to clean any more up than necessary. Besides, he was exhausted from the work he accomplished. He plopped down on the ground and wiped away the sweat. "I think I'm done with that for now..." He wasn't going to say any more than that. His mood was just beginning to lighten.

Byakuran’s small chuckle continued for a moment, his eyes closed in an almost bemused solace. So that was over and done with. He turned his eyes around slightly as he fished once more through his pack at his waist behind him, taking out the last remaining scroll that he’d had with him. Yet another Jutsu he’d been planning to learn, given his affinity for speed. He had been debating learning the musical inclination next, however his curiosity had been struck by the fact he could finally use his Kekke Genkai aggressively, and he was eager to see if his realm of jutsu mastery extended beyond merely his own clan’s abilities.

The Shunshin was a fundamental technique for almost all ninja, and allowed the user to greatly increase their speed with the use of their chakra. Some Shinobi were so skilled with it that they could travel great distances in what seemed mere moments, a bit of theatrics added in making it seem as though they had teleported. It was most certainly a useful technique, and what was more, he himself felt he was finally ready to attempt the technique with his recently improved upon levels of speed. With it he would most certainly gain a distinctive edge in combat, and along with his ninjutsu, he was fairly sure that he could best most others his own age. Of course this was just the beginning. He was only starting to excel in his training…

The jutsu didn't really seem to complex to initially prepare for, it was essentially just a matter of training one's speed, perfecting the motion of short bursts of motion in order to prepare one's body. With his current capacity for speed, he should have about even odds to be able to complete the described maneuvers, but it should certainly be no harder than his training with his Kekke genkai, and certainly far less dangerous. Putting the scroll back into his hip pack he whirled about and stepped up unto the one of the narrow tree's of the grove, chakra securing his feet to the trunk of the tree as he swiftly began to run up into the canopy above , his body occasionally flitting about from trunk to trunk now as he focused on attuning his speed to the proper movements as dictated for jutsu...

He'd most likely need to visit the Village Clinic to heal himself from training with his Clan abilities, the internal damage from the technique's trial and error learning process still far from healed, but that could wait. As it was he was still in fighting fit condition, and anyway, he was eager to continue his rather heated streak of success.
