::when everyone had been distracted with Fai and then Iyashi, Kisha had caught Pyralis's attention and then slipped out of the room unnoticed. a few moments later, Pyralis had followed. without a word, the two had slipped silently through the house and out into the back yard, then behind a clump of trees where they could talk without being overheard::

if Hyozan needs something i can provide for him, then i will. but that is not what you did, Pyralis... she did not need your heart, you gave it willingly and she accepted without thinking of the possible conseqences

only Sakura knows what will happen to us once we've served our purpose...
she was a kind hearted woman, i highly doubt that she would have conditioned us so that we died when we have served our
think for once in your hot headed life! she was kind, yes, but she was not a god! she was only an extremely powerful magician.... she had to follow the laws of nature just as anyone else did, though she was able to bend those laws better than anyone else, she could not break them... we are, for better or worse, nothing more than elements given form, free will, and personalities... when we complete our duty, we may return to what we orgianlly began as... me to water, you to fire, Fai to light, Kishi to dark, Veata to wind, and Maralah to earth... do you wish to force Remmy to feel that?
::looks away:: she is stronger than you think ::softly:: she knows the risk... and she chooses not to think of it until the time comes for it happen... i will follow her example, as i suggest you do... ::looks back at her:: and for Hyozan's sake, be yourself. if he ever thinks you've lied to him, he'll lose any trust he'll have placed in you ::turns and stalks back toward the house, but by then everyone would have gone their seperate ways::
::Kisha watches him go for a moment, muttering under her breath:: i am myself...
(Note: this was a product of my extreme boredom, and is for mun benefit only, there is NO WAY any of the chars, except for Kisha and Pyralis, would know of this conversation ::looks meaningfully at Remmy:: please do not magically find out about it. thank you)

(( eek I second that wow!! Warning Hyozans mom gets really weird at one pont... she will not always be like this!!))
Kishi looked at Franki curiously... not even realizing that he was starting to show more emotions than his usual glares. Whether that was the influence of Franki or the cookies no one knows. "What things are going slow? And is your whole family... large?"
Hyozan had managed to get his stuff together... and it only took an hour!! As he headed for the door he called back "Bye mom.. I'm going out. Won't be home for awhile." Just as he was a step away from freedom his mothers voice stopped him
"Where are you going?? And why will you be gone for 'awhile'??"
Suiren ran over and hugged him dramatically "Noooo don't leave me!! I'll never see you again!!"
His little sister Oyu was now clinging to his leg again with tears welling up in her eyes "Your leaving? Are you coming back? *wails* You promised you'd take care of me and that everything would be ok!!!"
sweatdrop "Uhhh... I'm only going to Tokyo to help a friend with some deliveries. *pats Oyu's head* And of course I'm coming back silly! I wouldn't leave you.. and I don't break promises!!" He smiled at her hoping she would stop crying now
"Are those the friends I met before? I don't think that one girl likes me.."
His mother just glared.. really she could Kishi and Iyashii a run for their money!! "Tokyo??? Absolutely not! I know what happens in those big cities... I used to live there."
"But.. mom.. it'll be ok. My whole group of friends are going"
"Well, no son of mine is going wake up in a sleazy hotel room with two prostitues and a drag queen!"

"Sooo... that means I can go... right?" He sighed and put his bag down... this might take awhile!

Remmy finished getting everything together and then went to her desk, pulling a large notepad and some pens out of it. She handed them to Ki. "Those are for you." she whispered, then taking her hand and sneaking back down the stairs so as not to disturb her parents.
