Kilik blinked when he sat down with her. He rested their intertwined hands on the grass. "No, no.." he whispered, "I'm just not good at bringing up conversation." The Elekid on his head crawled down to play with Sakura. Surely, if Kilik wasn't afraid of the Pokemon, then the plug had nothing to fear.
"I know you won't go back to that, Nina.." he looked at her, "Not so long as I can help it."

Nina smiled, and she seemed to have a genuinely appreciative expression on her face. "Thank you, Kilik," she said. "That was probably the worst time in my life, even though I only experienced it for a couple of hours."
Sakura played with Elekid, and a few moments later, released a Sweet Scent. This wasn't meant to engage him in a battle, but just to help to lighten the mood a little.

Elekid smiled lightly, swaying back and forth, enjoying the scent. Kilik took a deep whiff of the scent as well, placing his other hand on top of their already interlocked fingers. "Nina, I'd trade the world for you never to be like that again." Elekid suddenly looked shocked, then frowned. The boy looked over at the plug. "Except you, Elekid," he reassured the baby. The Electric-type nodded affirmatively and then spun around on the spot.

"Augh. Another Dig. Okay Onix go ahead and use our new defensive specialty move when you feel it coming." Brock commanded as he prepared for the inevitable end of the fight. Onix looked about for a moment but then quieted and began to just feel the floor. Waiting for the moment when suddenly the ground shook ever so slightly (not like it was a large pokemon emerging from the ground). Then a protective green barrier rose about him.

Sakura smiled, and spun around with Elekid. She started to spin at a faster rate after a few seconds, and kept going faster. Eventually, she became dizzy and went to stop, but fell backwards into some large bushes. She crawled out, unscathed for the most part; the only thing that had really been hurt was her pride.
Nina grinned as she looked over to her Pokemon. "Sakura, be careful!" she called; "Next time you probably will get..." The psychic stopped speaking as a larger figure emerged from the bushes. It was a Pokemon; a Mightyena to be exact. It seemed to have been lured over by the Sweet Scent, although it was wearing a very angry expression on its face. Sakura quickly ran over to Kilik and Nina, ready to protect them if necessary.

((Wow I have no idea what I want to do right now...))
Mag and Sunfire began to make their way to Bill's cottage. It was visible in the distance up on the edge of the cliff. Keeping up the pace the two were at least a quarter of the way across when a tiny pokemon appeared from the underbrush! It had a purple body and leaves coming from the top of it's head and it appeared to be ready for a fight.

Kilik stood up sharply, letting go of Nina's hand. He put an arm out in front of her to protect her. Elekid ran up to his trainer's head and rested there. "Damn..." he grumbled, running a hand over his belt. All of his strongest Pokemon were out of comission. He snatched up Lombre's Pokeball and tossed it up into the air. "If anything, I can distract it while you take the Pokemon to the Pokemon Center. Besides," he laughed, "Lombre could use some more experience." He handed her Flareon, Scizor, and Weezing's Pokeballs. "Mind if I use Sakura?" he asked her.
Lombre landed on the ground, its eyes closed. When he heard the growl of Mightyena, he opened his eyes slowly. "Lom...bre?" The Pokemon tilted its head and blinked. Such a strange time to battle - and with such a pretty scent in the air, too.

Nina stood up, nodding. "Of course," she said, "feel free. And, technically, she'll obey you because of your badges." She sighed, then pecked Kilik on the cheek quickly, taking his Pokemon that needed to be healed. "I'll be back in two shakes of a Mareep's tail, I promise."
With that, Nina booked it back to the center.

Kilik smirked and let Sakura clamber onto the battlefield with Lombre. The frog-like Pokemon looked over at the flower with a blank expression then tilted his head. "Nevermind your partner, Lombre! Attack with Absorb!" Slowly, the Lombre moved over towards the Mightyena, who was still growling. Suddenly, the frog jumped in the air and pointed its leaf towards him.
"LOMBRE!" it cried out, a vine stretching out and slashing Mightyena and sapping some of its health. The boy then looked at Sakura.
"Okay, Bellossom," he smiled, "Attack with Poison Powder!" Listening to the owner of the new badge, Sakura shook her body and sent a purple powder towards Mightyena.
The Dark-type growled when its health was sapped and ran toward Lombre with a Tackle attack, dashing straight through the purple haze caused by Poison Powder.

Nina continued to run, as fast as she could. She arrived at the Pokemon Center some ten minutes later, and rushed inside. Aside from Nurse Joy and herself, there was nobody else inside of the center.
Nina was able to get the Pokemon healed, and she stepped back outside. She started running again, hurrying back to Kilik's aid. Why the hell is there a Mightyena in Saffron City? Nina thought to herself. They aren't indigenous to this region... Somebody must own it.
The girl heard a noise from behind her, and turned her head. She blinked when she saw that nothing was there, and she dismissed the noise as a figment of her imagination. As Nina was turning her head back to see what was in front of her, she tripped and fell over something, and crashed on the ground.
"Ughhh... ow," Nina said, as she was starting to slowly get back to her feet. She looked back to see what she tripped on, and there was a small Nidorina. It looked extremely miffed. "I'm sorry, honey," Nina apologized; "I didn't see--"
"Nidorina, Slash her." The man from earlier was standing next to a tree on Nina's right side, and Nina's jaw dropped when he spoke. "You're him!" she yelled, but only before being attacked to the ground.
"KILIK!" She screamed, as she tried to fight the Pokemon off of her. Nidorina slashed her claws against Nina's stomach, drawing blood.

Kilik heard the cry of his name and instantly knew something was amiss. He cast a glare at the Mightyena and lifted Lombre's ball. "Get back in!" he called, recalling the frog into its confines. The trainer scooped up Sakura and kept her against his chest. The Poison'll run through its body and knock it out eventually. He ran towards the center of the city, making his way to the Pokemon Center. He found Nina on the ground with a Nidorina on top of her. "Bellossom! Use Stun Spore!" he demanded, tossing her into the air.
Sakura shook her head and dropped the yellow powder to the ground. This connected with the Nidorina, paralyzing her instantly. Kilik dashed over, grabbed the Pokemon and threw her off Nina. "My God..." he whispered, looking at the condition the girl was in. He stared over at the man from earlier. "Who did this?!" he cried, crouching next to her. In case of another attack, Kilik took his three Pokeballs from her. Along with this action, he lifted a ball to retreat Elekid into it.

Nina was in shock and unable to form a coherent sentence. She was feeling extremely dizzy due to her loss of blood and was trying to stay conscious.
"Who did this?" the man repeated. "Why, I did, of course. This girl is another useless person in the world and would not be missed if she was erradicated... Just like you." Reaching for his belt, the man grabbed a Pokeball and flung it out, revealing a Vigoroth. "Vigoroth, use Slash on that boy! Don't you let him get away alive!"

Kilik jumped back a few feet, throwing a Pokeball as he was aireborne. "Scizor! Counterattack with your own Slash! Show that Vigoroth how it's really done!" The Pokemon burst free in a shower of sparkles, then jumped at the white-ape Pokemon, bringing her claw downwards on it. Her expression clearly read:
Though I may not like him, nobody messes with Master
Kilik scooped up Nina, holding her against him. The blood dripped from her body onto his front. I need to get her to a hospital and fast... He looked around frantically, then looked over at Scizor. "Attack with whatever you want. And..." he struggled for a minute then revealed his Flareon and Weezing into the fray. "You two! Help Scizor if she needs it!"
Even Weezing understood the seriousness of the situation and nodded. Kilik ran off, holding Nina. Damn...is this that Maorde Menskr she warned me about?!

Kilik, Nina thought-spoke to him, there's a hospital over in Celadon City... It's in between the apartment complex and the shopping center... Hurry, please. I can't...
Nina lost consciousness before she finished her sentence.
Anna let herself out of her Pokeball, and hovered near Kilik as he ran. "Call your Pokemon back, now!" she practically commanded. "That Vigoroth is a Normal-type; he won't be able to hurt me as badly as he can hurt your Pokemon. Let me take care of him!"

Kilik paused to look at Anna, refusing. "If I did that, it would take too much time! Scizor is perfectly capable of fighting that thing!" Kilik barked at the Misdreavus, "You can go help, but Scizor, Weezing, and Flareon are staying there." He looked at the unconcious girl in his arms, "I need to get her to the hospital. I'll be back as soon as possible." He left the Pokemon behind, dashing off towards Celadon City.
Nina, it'll be okay...hang in there for me. He pushed through the door that led into the secruity clearence before heading into Celadon. He dashed up the path, huffing and puffing.
