Lacuna's words hit a sore spot in Rei's heart, and he nodded in agreement. Yeah...I know, exactly how that feels...he sort of laughed, shaking his head after a moment. But you know what? ******** them. All of them. If they don't want us here that's just too damned bad...

Lacuna smiled at Rei and threw herself suddenly at him in a hug. Once Lacuna realized what she was doing she blushed a red hue of embarrassment before taking a few steps back.
"I'm so.. ..sorry..", she said completely flushed.

Rei paused and blushed some as well before offering a nervous laugh. It's okay...I've...just never been hugged by ... well, by anyone, really.

Lacuna had a questionable look upon her face of shock. "Really?", she asked brushing his hand in an attempt comfort him, though she doubted he needed that. Lacuna found herself making excuses to herself to talk, touch talk or even make eye contact with Rei.

Rei blushed deeply under the kerchief and sort of nodded, a nervous laugh escaping him again. Yes...I mean sure, I've hugged my mother...and random siblings...and...He trailed off and shook his head some. But not people I've just met...

Lacuna sighed and nodded.
"Yes, so we have just met", she said before grabbing what was left of her bag that she had kept her spells and books in.
"I don't have a place to sleep and unfortunately and I have nothing better to do.. So I suppose I should let you be, I'm sure I'm annoying you with my problems.. I guess I'll go to the woods and look for the things I've lost.

Candycane Scartissue I'm glad it tastes to your liking, cutie, Misaki said with a bright smile, grabbing the cup and putting it to her lips, taking a rather large gulp, seeing as it had cooled down quite a bit. She looked to him and laughed softly. Would you like your own to drink? she asked, gently touching the top of his hand. watched her then remembered the time he was able to do the same. Granted, he didn't have such drinks where he came from but he simply missed the food, taste, smell, everything. Was it because of the demon in him that he could handle such things now? He would still need blood from time to time but he yearned for food again. "I think maybe I will. If I can handle this coffee then maybe one night I can take you out for dinner...or something." He didn't know if it sounded like asking her out on a date or not. He'd never done such a thing before.

Rei gave Lacuna a rather unsure look before shaking his head and shifting to move to stand. I didn't mean to offend you by saying that...he offered, sort of reaching a hand to her elbow so maybe she wouldn't run off so soon. He offered a laugh and tilted his head to her. If you'd like, I'll go help you look? Unless you mean to say you're going to look for non-material objects. He looked to the girl a moment before opening his mouth to speak again, despite his being unsure of how the offer would be interpretted. If you don't have anywhere to go, you could always stay with me a while. Maybe a little distraction would get his mind off the reason behind his dislike of being there, and he could talk himself into staying again.

Lacuna smirked a bit happily. "Yes, that would be nice", she said in reply to the offer. "I was going to look for my spells and books that I managed to throw away like useless pieces of script. However.. Maybe it's best those things are forgotten..", she said.

Aram slunk into the coffee-shop, tail and ears held erect as he glanced around excitedly, taking in the smells and sights of new and interesting people to bother. Within seconds he had decided on a course of action and vaulted to the counter, knocking over someone's iced coffee.
"Helllloooooo coffee-people!"
Almost immediately a petunlant voice called out and a softly furred white hand was pulling on his ankle. "Aram! You get down from there RIGHT NOW! honestly, we can't take you anywhere!"

Megan, on the quest to find her hookey-playing brother, had been passing the coffee house, and blinked, looking inside as Aram vaulted to the counter. Raising an eyebrow, amused at the sight, and deciding that Ruo could find his own way home, she entered to watch. And maybe have a cup of coffee. She was in a coffee sort of mood.

Spells and books? Rei couldn't help but laugh. He knew it was a bit inconsiderate of himself, as not -everyone- could simply call apon things the way he could, and he quickly covered his mouth as he looked to Lacuna. I mean...he started again, blushing under his kerchief, If they were something given to you by family, you should probably get them back. If they weren't, maybe I could help you acquire new ones.
