"Yeah..." Ryou said, and started towards the door Ishizu just exited through. He was wondering where Ishizu would stay-- if she would even want to stay in Domino now-- when he heard a soft voice behind him. Pausing, he turned just at the doorway to glance at Khalid, who was tilting his head up.
"I'm sorry..." Khalid said, his voice little more than a whisper. "For all I've put you through. Kira, what you said before was true. I know now that my actions have been in spite of my father. Because of what he and the rest of my family had done to me..." He broke off for a moment, shuddering slightly. "If what I believe is true, about fate, than what's to truly to become is to become. I shouldn't have to try and fix things to go one way. Everything can change, and you should be allowed to choose your own future..." Tears stung his eyes, as he realized how ignorant he had been before. "There is nothing I can do to make up for what I had done before... If I may ask for one last thing, can you please apologize to Ishizu for me? I need to leave Domino for a while."

Kira nodded "I will." she said then headed out the door with ryou.

When they left the temple, Ishizu was out of sight already. Ryou glanced around, but she wasn't anywhere to be seen at all. "Hopefully we'll see her some other time..." He muttered, partly to himself.

(An hour or so later...)
Bakura glanced up in surprise. They hadn't allowed him to leave the hospital yet, and was growing slightly irratated at the nurses who came through the room. He felt himself asking for some peace, yet he didn't want to be alone. He could monitor Ryou's movements and knew that the boy was at Kira's place, but he didn't have the strength to force his way out of the hospital. It would be easier to just wait for them to realease him.
So now when the door opened, Bakura was startled to see, instead of a nurse or doctor, Khalid enter the room. Bakura hadn't seen anybody he really knew since Kira and Ishizu left, and hadn't expected Khalid to arrive. "What d'you want?" Bakura asked, his voice sounding slightly gruff, yet it could be seen that he he was actually wanting to know.
Khalid shook his head slightly. He had been shocked to find that Bakura was still in the hospital. He should've made his way out by now. "Now, now, needn't be so rude to me. I'm here to help you." Khalid half-smiled, his face not as cold and emotionless as before. "You are, surprisingly, the only one I found that I can trust right now. I need to ask you a favor; however, you'll find that it may suit your own needs some."
Reaching into his robes, Khalid withdrew the Millennium Key and Scales. "I want to give you these. But only until I either get back or you can tell they want another owner. I'm sure you can feel that. I give these to you and you can get out of the hospital and get your own Millennium Ring back." He held out the items, which Bakura took cautiously.
"Now why would you give them to me? I'm sure there must be somebody else you could've found." Bakura asked, frowning slightly. "Besides, why do you need me to hold onto them? You going somewhere?"
Khalid nodded his head, ignoring the first question. "Yes. That's why, Bakura, I told you that you can have them until I get back or you find a new owner. I'm going to Egypt; to find what's left of my family. I need to set some things straight."

Kira was in her kicthen cooking dinner and ryou had been in the livingroom trying to figure out how to play her sims game on the laptop "Ryou foods ready" she told him.

"Hold on..." Ryou mumbled. He tried to order a Sim to eat food, but instead managed to start a fire. Sighing, he closed off the game, and went over to Kira. "I can't figure those things out. They're idiots, complete morons." He was talking about the Sims on the game, which could be true at times.

She chuckled "now ryou it's only a game." she told him.She had made stir-fry today and had already set the table "help yourself."

Ryou grumbled something insulting about the Sims, but then thanked Kira. "Looks good..." He said, nodding his head and going over to the table. "How long do you think it'll take Ishizu to admit that the still likes Khalid?" Ryou asked off-handedly, since he could tell, despite what Ishizu had said about kating Khalid, that she still had feelings for him.

(Major-ish time skip.)
Ryou knocked on the door. It was a little more than a month after Bakura got out of his coma, after Khalid disappeared back to Egypt, and while things calmed down. Ryou was lucky not to have seen Bakura very much, who had just about cut himself away from his hikari. He only really saw his yami if he made a point to, which was rare. Now Ryou was in front of Ishizu's apartment's door, with Kira. The three of them had planned to go out for lunch today, but Ishizu hadn't come out yet.
"Come on, Ishizu! You promised!" Ryou called through the door. He had been hoping that Ishizu would go with them that day. It seemed that after Khalid left and she decided to stay in Domino, she was growing steadily more depressed about being so mean to Khalid. "You can't stay holed up in there forever, and I'm sure we can get through this door one way or another." He glanced over his shoulder and smiled softly at Kira, knowing that they would, indeed, be able to burst down the door or pick the lock.
"I can't go with you!" Ishizu's muffled voice finally called back. "I just fell ill... Maybe another time or something!" She buried her face into the pillow, wondering why she had even wanted to go out in the first place. It seemed pointless to her to be in Domino anymore. "So go away!" She didn't want to sound rude to her friends, but she really wasn't up to leaving her apartment right then, although what she just said about being ill was a lie. Maybe tomorrow, or the next day, or the day after that. Maybe even next week.

"Well then if your ill were going to have to come in and take care of you wont we?" She kelt down taking a boby pin out of her hair some of her hair falling down.She had let her hair grow because she found out ryou liked it like that.She smirked as she started to pick the lock.

Ryou ignored the faint protests of Ishizu as he watched Kira pick the lock, hoping that Ishii wouldn't try to stick something in the way or climb out the window. It wouldn't be likely, however, since he could already hear Ishizu's protests dying away as she gave in, probably bracing herself for them to come in.
"Hey!" A voice called out to them, from a person down the hall. The man drew closer. "What're you doin'? That ain't yer door." As rarely as Ishizu came out, the man knew that Ryou and Kira didn't live there.

Kira just fliped the guy off and stood up opening the door "so were my poor little sick ishizu?"

Ishizu was covered by a blanket on her couch, looking like a little kid dressed up for a ghost for Halloween. Except no eye holes. "Why do you want me to go with you anyway?" Ishizu grumbled from under her sheet, curling into a ball. "I bet it's going to start raining or some bad thing is going to happen."
Ryou gave the guy a slightly apologetic look, but followed Kira into the room anyway. He crossed over to Ishizu and tugged off the blanket, showing that she didn't look sick in the least bit. She had even gotten a bit dressed up to go out, as opposed to her state lately of just wearing any old thing. "If I had to make a guess, Ishizu, I'd say that you chickened out at last minute." Ryou observed, then grabbed one of her arms. "C'mon. Nothing bad will happen, I promise."

She smiled "Yea anyway If you want we can just go to my place and i'll cook!ryou can teach you how to play thesims!" she said teasing her ryou.
