"This is a very sharp tool. It'll be used through this whole procedure."Ruen pulled the tray of green liquid over to him carefully. "See there? That's what we need to reset. We aren't going to cut it out, otherwise we might do something we don't want. Like if she were a normal person, we could accidentally speed up or stunt her growth, which it seems her growth has been blocked, too. "this may look strange but don't worry, it won't hurt her."He set his free hand on her arm and pushed the pen into her skin. As soon as it was in all the way, Ruen clicked the backside of the pen and let it unfold and wrap around X's arm. "I'll let you have one of these when we're done. Who knows when you'll need it. Ruen put the scalpel to the screen and sliced across the screen. A strand of DNA appeared on the screen. "You can use your finger but it's easier to use a scalpel. Now, it should highlight the place we need to change, there we go."A part of the screen showed up green. Ruen put the scalpel on it and tapped, bringing the rung's code up closer. It was in a language that no one but Ruen really understood. "Hmm... This is not any known language that you would know. I'd advise you to take some time to learn Anokian. Now, what it is listing off are the specific things this rung controls, such as how easy she is to control and how subjectable she is to hypnosis. We're just going to turn this up to seventy-five percent strength so no one can break into her head and try to make her a puppet. Meanwhile, let's look at this one.
