Rin shook her head. "That wouldn't be impossible if he lets me into his head. But I'm not sure what I would say to him." she said softly, trying to create another connection with Raki but she wasn't sure if it would work. Raki!!

Raki heard a faint voice in his head and he immediately knew who it was. Just how close were they?! Turn back! Now! he thought before he could stop himself. He had a feeling he would be pestered now. It would ruin everything. He could hide his emotions well outside, but they were always clear in his thoughts.

Rin caught the connection. We can't turn back now Raki. You need to hand Leo over to us! He's hurt and needs to be healed!! Please stop doing this! We know you're only pretending to side with them so we promise we won't hurt you. But you need to pull over now!

Raki froze. They know? But they couldn't have found out that quickly. No, it's a lie. She was using Leo's tactic. I can't do that, Rin. It would ruin everything, he thought. I'm your enemy now. You will all try to arrest me with the rest of the Triforce gang and, if I'm not jailed, you will have me killed. I thought about it all, and I've made my decision. Don't try to change my mind!

Rin wished she could get him to see that they weren't out to get him anymore. Raki.....most of your notes have been deciphered. We know that you're not really in this. Please.....at least take Leo to the hospital. He can hardly breathe because of his wound at his stomach. I know you don't want him to die.

Raki knew Leo was hurt, but it was too risky to take him to the hospital. I can't. I'm so close. So close... He just needed information. When is the next mass meeting? He needed to know. It would take a few days. At the same time, he didn't want Leo to die. What could he do? He needed this to be believable. Perhaps it wasn't too bad now that Legion knew. It wasn't like they would encounter any time soon... No. Authenticity. It was essential. H-how do you know they were deciphered correctly anyways? Or maybe those notes are lies I wrote! He could hear the desperation in his own thoughts, and the hopelessness. He doubted he would be able to go home after all this.

Rin sighed. I think what you wrote in your notes was the truth Raki. Just don't let Leo get hurt anymore please. Asher is really worried about the both of you. With that last message sent Rin had lost contact with Raki. "I think they sped up, I can't connect with Raki anymore. He must be just out of range." she said softly, wondering if they would even make it in time.

When Rin's voice faded away, Raki knew they had just sped up. He tried to calm himself down, but to no avail. He sort of hoped Legion would not catch up with them any time soon. It was clear they knew he was still on their side, but the Triforce leaders have no idea. He couldn't risk their doubting his loyalties right now. Perhaps he should try to speed up the plan. Maybe ask when the next big meeting is and then try to move it closer. As for Leo, he hoped the other boy would be alright. If they were going to a private villa, there must be doctors there, too, right?Asher stiffened. They had to catch up, but first... "What did Raki say, Rin?" he asked. She had been quiet for a long time and even said she couldn't connect anymore, which meant she had been conversing with Raki somehow. It was odd that he allowed the connection, though.

Rin sighed heavily. "He's still trying to convince himself that we're out to get him. That there's no turning back now. But I don't think the pain inflicted upon Leo was intentional, I doubt Raki would hurt him on purpose." she said softly, bouncing her knee up and down as she pressed her hands to her dress against her waist. "Daniel...I need to use the bathroom..." she said softly, regretting having said anything right now but there was only so much a person could do about a bladder.

As much as Daniel would have liked to continue going after the gang, he had to acknowledge nature needed to take its course. "Alright. I'll find the next stop," he said, almost feeling as if he was leading everyone on some road trip. It would have been humorous if not for the situation. Pulling to a resting area, one with some fast-food restaurants, he parked the car and turned to the group. "Well, while we're here, perhaps we should get a bite to eat."

Rin quivered with anticipation as she was compelled to stay in the car for a few seconds longer to hear what Daniel had to say. "Okay but bathroom first!" she said softly, ears flat against her head as she hopped out of the car and ran inside the restaurant. Elsa got out of the car as well, though she was only a little hungry. She walked beside Daniel into the restaurant, looking up at the cheap menu for anything her and Rin would like.

Chase and Cherry hurried to the bathroom while Asher followed his grandfather. Once they arrived, Cherry stopped by the building, staring up at the sign as if she wasn't sure which way to go, before heading to the ladies' side. It was a habit really, because the twins looked so much alike, and they both looked masculine, that Cherry's presence in the ladies' section usually got her chased out. It was quiet this time, to Chase's relief. His ears were still recovering from the other times.Asher stared up at the menu as well, though he was tapping his foot with impatience. The more they stood here, the farther Leo and Raki were getting. He just hoped they would be able to locate the Triforce leaders in Mexico.Orion decided it may be best to take a stop somewhere. Their destination was far, so why not stock up on a little food on the way? "We're taking a little break from our road trip. Anyone hungry?" he announced, looking back briefly.

Elsa managed to pay for both hers and Rin's meals with the little bit of money they were paid from working for Legion. Once she placed and paid for their orders, Elsa turned to make her way toward the table Daniel was waiting. She noticed Asher was a little tense and gave him a little smile. "Try to relax at least a little. It won't do you any good to worry yourself sick." She said before sitting down with Daniel, ears perked to listen out for their number.Rin came out of the bathroom a little later and joined Elsa at a table. "Much better." she said with a little smile before she heard mothers instructing their children not to stare at them. Rin blushed a little, she didn't mind that the little kids stared, she just didn't like it when the adults stared at her. Rin's ears flickered a little at the busy sounds inside the restaurant.Aries stretched and nodded. "Yep, I could go for a fat steak....or surf and turf." he said softly, running a hand through his hair when he noticed Raki had an odd expression. "I think Raki might be a little constipated though." he teased, giving the boy a soft nudge to snap him back to reality.

Asher soon paid for his own food and took a seat at the table with the sisters and his grandfather. Since there was nothing much to do, his eyes tended to focus on the ears that Rin and Elsa had. He thought it was part of a costume at first (who knows why Gramps was okay with that), but they seemed to move.Chase and Cherry soon walked into the restaurant and quickly made their orders before joining the others. "Refreshed!" he announced, mainly out of boredom. "We're not staying here long, right? We have bad guys to go after!" He wanted to lighten up the mood, but it didn't seem to do any good.Raki gave a jolt and remembered where he was at the moment. "Hey, what was that for?" he muttered, fighting back the instinct to get as far away from Aries as possible. "We're stopping already?" It didn't look like a hotel that they were resting at. When told that they were getting food, Raki just waved his hand in a shooing motion. "A cheeseburger would be nice. Maybe we should get something for our guest, too.""Alright. Two down. Scorpius, what do you want?" Orion asked, looking at his brother. When Raki mentioned getting something for Leo, he simply dismissed the idea, mostly. "Maybe get him a salad or something. Kid looks pretty well-fed, though. Probably can handle a trip without food."

It wasn't long that Elsa and Rin were seated that their number was shouted out. Elsa hopped up from her seat and gathered the tray with four burgers, two fries, and one large soda. She brought the tray to the table for her and her sister but the little kids were still staring a little. Rin was a little tired of all the staring and decided to approach one of the children to let them feel her ears and soon all of the children in the restaurant lined up to feel them. Rin usually did this when there were children around, if the children were comfortable around them then the parents usually were too. After a few minutes Rin came back from the giggling crowd to eat her late dinner. Soon it would be 8:00.Not feeding the kid was too cruel, even for a well-fed kid like Leo. Scorpius turned to look at Orion across from him in the front seat, he hated when his brothers talked to him like he could actually speak. He gave a soft sigh and pointed to Raki, indicating that burgers sounded better, then holding up two fingers to show how many he wanted. Scorpius would throw the second burger into the trunk for the poor kid who was probably still in pain.
