It was fortunate that he was at least taller than Lizzy, as it made it much easier for him to fall into a leading role in the dance with her that much easier. Not to say he couldn't dance with someone taller than him, it was just much easier for a new partner when they weren't.
It seemed she really was not inclined towards small talk either, which was fine by him as well. Instead, he just made due with listening to the cues of the music, stepping quickly with the beat, but also taking the opportunity to pause now and then to spin his partner and even at one point supporting her with a hand in the small of her back as he dipped her dramatically.
It was fun, really.

[[Enter]] After a bit of a talk-down from Jericho, Shehk had been feeling much better about coming back out onto the floor - at least until it seemed like there was something happening!
She moved along with the dragon towards the scene of Aymet's breakdown - literally - looking from the dracolith's scattering all over to Jericho, then Amrita, then just...staring. Forever staring as though she wasn't sure what to say.
Aymet didn't know what was happening as it happened, so it was safe to say that nobody had a clue what had just happened, which only prompted her to grab Jericho's arm and squeeze it uncomfortably. He was like her personal stress ball all of a sudden.

"There you are. Is everything alright?"
In the process of fire, attempted 'murder,' showers of glass and all of the chaos otherwise Yuki had lost track of the small fae. She looked like she'd been crying, and that concerned him.

"D...Don't be silly! What are you apologizing for? It's okay, we'll just--" Her attempt at cheerful reassurance was cut off as what was left of the Dracolich crumpled a little more and took up a stillness she knew very well. Luckily for Jericho she didn't suspect it was his fault that whatever unlife was left in Aymet flickered out; something had been off before then, everything else was just coincidence. She still didn't know what happened, but her proximity to the literal remains did give her some clue.
Mainly, the phylactery that rolled a little closer to her.
Wait, there was...something off about this. Very careful hands picked up the glowing sphere, inspecting it as gently as she possibly could. She didn't know the full extent of the importance of the piece, but she did know a few things; Aymet was protective of it, it was still alive (however weakly), but it was broken. That was never good for anyone, especially since it also seemed to be leaking. Oooh Jack, no no no!
She twisted her hand awkwardly, carefully resting her hand over the more obviously broken piece as if doing so would stop it from leaking. From there she half turned, taking in the full extent of who was around her with eyes wide behind her mask. "D-does anyone know FEAR healing?" Her panic had made her forget that she had some first aid experience, and so she had turned to the crowd for a plea to help, however quietly. "He hasn't dissipated yet! Maybe we can still..." She tried to explain, trailing off. Would it be okay for him to dissipate with this piece so very broken? Probably not in the slightest. Truth be told Amrita didn't know what to do. She was so wound up she was pretty sure her heart would start beating again; she was uncertain, lost, certainly not the ghoul for the job, but...but she couldn't leave him like this. That wouldn't be right; sure if he vanished he'd just show up in the nurses office probably, but what kind of friend sat by and just let that happen? Halloween didn't die, but dissipating was painful.
"Jericho, can you go find Mal? I think we need it's help." She started, trying to slide some mirth into her voice at her Captain Obvious statement...and trying very hard not to break or stutter. Mal was hopefully still here, and therefore a lot more accessible right now than Cricket...At least in her mind. "Thackery, Shehk, Shun, Mitsu...could you help me collect his pieces?" She singled out those she could see standing around her; they were free to not help of course, but she had to at least ask. Still holding the phylactery in one hand, Amrita gently pulled some of Aymet's cape out from under the rest of his bones, one-handedly smoothing out some wrinkles to make a wider space for them to place the collected pieces.
Not willing to let go of the phylactery, she leaned to the side and gingerly picked up a wayward vertebrae, placing it on the smoothed out cape.

Yuki would have found Astra, again, finding sanctuary near the tables, looking like she was considering the option of hiding underneath them. But What what was happening with Aymet, she had been sidetracked again. "Oh! Yuki...I'm all right now." She replied, her eyes betraying her feelings, as they were all puffy from her bouts of crying. "I was just...umm..taking to Riley..."

"I hope that went well?" Yuki asked, assuming now that her tears were not of distress. He'd heard of what had happened with the mindflayer, and it was wonderful news that she had returned. Not to be dead as everyone had believed. He might not have known her, but the ghost was still pleased that she had returned. From the cluster of students he'd seen earlier, which he'd been a bit confused by at the time, Yuki realized that there had been a great many who cared for her and were ecstatic to have her back. He couldn't blame them.
The boil offered Astra his arm, wordlessly hoping she would read the gesture and use her wings to rise more to his level. "The photo booth doesn't seem to be as busy as it was earlier... Do you want to try and get our picture taken, before it gets too late?"

"Yup, it went very well indeed" Astra replied, beaming up at the ghost boil It seemed that for now, she was unaware of the fact Riley didn't even remember her, which was probably a good thing. Her face seemed to dampen at the mention of 'photo's. Of course she would be happy, but she wasn't to thrilled at having her picture taken in her dresses current state. Nevertheless, she plastered a big smile on her face, and hovered up to take Yuki's arm. "Sure! A picture sounds great!"

As Lizzy had expected, Invictus was a really good dancer, and his cues were easy to follow. The spins and dips caused her to smile and giggle as she slowly relaxed, beginning to really enjoy the dance. She could only hope that she did not mess up somewhere, since the tango wasn't a dance that she had a lot of experience in... Just that it was one of those things she was forced to learn when she was younger.
At least it came in handy today.
"This is the first time I've tangoed in a long time," She mused out loud, smiling at her dance partner as she decided to break the silence between them now that she was getting comfortable with him, "You dance really well~"
Looking at him now, and thinking back to the first time he was introduced, she had to admit that it was amazing how so many things had happened and changed since then. As the music faded, and a new song replaced it, she dipped her head at him, "Thank you for the dance, and I apologize if I was lacking in anything.... It was... Enjoyable." Since it was usually the female who leaves before the male, she curtsied at him for the second time that night before going back to mingling with the crowd.
[Ughh so rushed qq They have to have a proper talk one day or something.]

Suddenly there was a Lizzy face in her cleavage. Junko blushed and squeaked. "U-um! Hi, Lizzy! Uh..." She cleared her throat and stepped back enough to free Lizzy's face, smiling brightly. "Are you having fun? Congratulations, again! I was so excited when I saw your votes~! Oh, let me.." Junko reached out to fix Lizzy's crown which had fallen off kilter from their collision.
There! All better.
Now if only Mac had been so compliant.

"Junko!" Lizzy beamed at the ghoul when everything became bright away, although she had to leave the soft, warm, and comfortable place she was in- Oh. Uh, oh, so that's what- Alright, that didn't happen. She was sparkling as she squealed, hugging the ghoul, "Thank you! I'm... Having fun, yes." For the most part, anyway. No need to tell her Soulmate her issues right now, lest she ruins what's left of prom for her; besides, she was hoping that Mac would be right about her feeling happier about it later.
She stood still as Junko fixed her crown, being a good Soulmate.
"Thank you," She giggled, taking her hands in her own, head tilted to a side, "Do you want to dance?" As long as her last dance belonged to Mac.

Mitsu had no idea what was going on but it seemed on of the undeads was falling apart. With a frown she followed after Shun nodding to Amrita as she knelt to start collecting. " Of course," Mitsu said softly, gently cradling a random piece in her arms and bringing it toward Amrita to set on the cape. She continued this process a worried look on her face. " C..can he be fixed? I only know basic first aid I don't think I would be able to do much." She might be able to bandages some pieces and stitch some others but that was about the extent of it.

As she was hugged she squealed and returned the hug, bouncing a little with her soulmate. She was so happy to see her, she hadn't been able to hang out with her at all. The end of the night was better than nothing. Her arms rest on lizzy's shoulders, a huge grin on her face. Good! She was having fun! More things to be happy for!
As Lizzy took her hands she gave them a squeeze, giggling at how Lizzy sparkled. "Dance? I'd love to! Uh.." She looked down at their skirts. Hers in its was bad enough. Both of their skirts combined? "How...uh.."

As if answering Junko's question, the song changed to something that didn't require them to hold each other. In fact, as the song started, Lizzy grinned, her grip on Junko's hands tightening as she tugged her up to the dance floor... And begun doing this.
