There's no way to justify decimals in the current rules. I remember when they did that one year in HoH and it pissed me off because they only did it to push some people slightly ahead in otherwise even matches without justification.

King Bug Yeah. The only thing about it is that the death deduction is pretty hefty due to how low the point values are. I'm not really arguing it, I just didn't know that it was going to be that severe in the grading process. Figured it was more of a "as it happens we look to see if people need to be DQ'd" type thing. Not sure if you guys are going to break it down into fractions. A 2.25 or 1.5 score would be annoying. I know the troubles of balancing lower numbers though if you only do whole numbers because if something is wishy washy you're gonna end up going a bit too far one way or the other. By interesting though... well I grabbed a random fight and did a fast and dirty job of it and came up with the scores 5 to 4. Those are interestingly small numbers. I also tried doubling the point value for everything so that each judging area had the same weight, but it was out of 20 instead of 10. Vintrict didn't like it.

I value my impending score too much to talk about Vintrict and his... uh... mastery of numbers.

Tresondros Ecstuffuan Its ok KB, how awesome our fight was will make up for us temporarily killing each other. True. Unfortunately, it looks unlikely that we're going to have that epic showdown in HoH. sweatdrop Which is lame because that fight was 100% perfect roleplaying opportunity.

Because we aren't going to win? Or because the HOH isn't going to finish? Either way, its alright. I'll need KB in storyline in Sigil soon.

So if a character entered and was a high ranking member of the GTB, would they be able to investigate GTB HQ?

So how will judging be done, will it be publicly published, or will it be shared with each of the competitors in the round, or will it be published with just a list of winners and losers with their final scores

Now based on this little outline I am curious just how bad the deaths will be.

Legion_of_Nazareth So how will judging be done, will it be publicly published, or will it be shared with each of the competitors in the round, or will it be published with just a list of winners and losers with their final scores Usually the scores are kept private between the competitors. Sometimes you'll only receive yours, or you'll receive the scores of all participants in the fight. Kinda depends on how lazy/rushed the judges feel with formatting. Winners are announced publicly, bracket is updated, and that's about it.
