Celeb grinned. "Elarinya is a wonderful woman. Very few would have taken us in here. The Light Elves, most of them anyways, are only better than the humans because they keep their distaste to themselves. They're polite and fair, but they still don't like people who are different."

"The same attitude that the Sky Elves thought they were leaving behind when they left," Earendil quipped. "At any rate, thanks for everything, and we'll see you later. Rest up."

"Will do," Celeb grinned. "See you all later."

While usually Earendil was glad that Miyuki had so much energy, first thing in the morning when they had finally gotten the chance to sleep in a bed again was not his idea of a proper time for it.

"Miyuki!" he exclaimed at last. "Calm down! We'll go when we're ready, don't worry. Just sit somewhere for a bit, all right?"

He was trying to help Lin get Andarien ready, but Andarien seemed to have the same energy as Miyuki because he just plain wouldn't sit still for them.

Earendil reached down to help hold Andarien still for Lin, though the moment MIiyuki sat down Andarien did the same, giving his parents the opportunity they needed to finish getting him dressed.

"Or maybe he's just copying Miyuki," Earendil quipped back at Lin. He looked over at Miyuki. "As soon as we're ready and have something to eat, we'll be going," he promised. "So yes, soon."

Since it seemed Andarien was going to cooperate a bit more.

"Maybe we can see if the kitchen will have porridge or something for Andarien," Earendil suggested. "Just to give him a bit of variety."

He poked Andarien's nose, and the boy opened his mouth as if he was trying to nom on his finger.

Earendil chuckled and looked at Lin. "Like me to carry him or would you like to?"

Earendil was right behind Lin, and he smiled faintly to himself as Miyuki rushed out to the dining room. It had been a long time since he had seen her this excited.

Once in the dining room, Earendil motioned for them to take a seat, and the moment they sat down a young elven woman - probably still a teen by the looks of her - headed over to them to take their order for breakfast.

Earendil hoped briefly that Miyuki wouldn't order pancakes, since they were unheard of in this world, at least outside of the Borderlands.

The girl smiled at Miyuki. "We have bacon and eggs," she suggested. "Or you could have sausage on bread, or we could toast the bread, or any mixture thereof."

"Why don't we try a few platters of different types," Earendil suggested, "and she can choose from that. I'm not picky, I'll take what she doesn't."

He looked at Lin to see if that was fine with her as well.

"As you wish," the girl smiled. "And for the little one?"

She nodded at Andarien, who was reaching for a vase of flowers in the middle of table as if he were looking for a meal there.
