Teagan grabbed a plate, loading it up with food and grabbing something to drink before heading into the living room with most of the other students. She took a seat next to Gen, picking at her food and glancing up at the movie every so often.
She glanced at Blair as he stepped past her and Gen, moving her plate out of stepping area.
"It was just an accident, and I'm sure you'll be okay." Teagan said, looking over at Gen. "And I highly doubt I need to ask you if you want me to get you some ice." She laughed, taking another bite of food.

Jamie grudginly congratulated the other team. He was used to losing, but there was something about the brotherhood that made it worse. He stopped to shake Pietro's hand last. "I gotta tell you, I'm impressed. I can't tell which is greater, your power, or your twisted, messed up imagination. I assume you thought of that whole plan?" When Pietro nodded, Jamie gave him a quick handshake, before walking over to Morgan.
"Hey man, I'm really sorry he picked you. I'd go if he'd let me, but he's a stubborn S.O.B. Good luck." Jamie said, before trudging up to the house. He sat heavily on the couch, careful not to hit anyone, and looked around at everyone who had been on his team. "I'm sorry about that, I really thought we had them at the end." He said, refering to the beginning of the last point, before the beach had seemed to explode.

OOC - Does anyone have a copy of Anna's bio? I submitted it to someone, I'm sure, and I don't particularly feel like writing it all out again. If you do have it, could you please PM it to me, it'd be much appreciated. ^_^
IC - Kim was just pouring herself a second glass of champagne when the phone rang. Everyone was chatting, or relaxing, or simply tipsy, so noone seemed willing to answer it. Putting the bottle down with a soft "clunk" sound, she strode towards one of the free-standing phones and flicked it off the hook, into her palm. Nursing an empty champagne flute in the other hand, she spoke happily.
"Xavier Institute, Kim speaking..."
A second of silence, then Kim's eyes widened. "Anna? Are you okay?" Then, after realised she had glances coming her way, she slipped into a nearby doorway and spoke with a hushed tone.
"Is he alright? ... Good, just stay there, I'll... No, don't retalliate! Wait for me, I'll start heading there now... Okay... And can you be sure of that? ... Alright then, I'll start out right now. Hold tight, stay by your Dad, keep your folks safe for now... Alright, I'll see you soon."
Kim hung up the phone and looked at it for a moment very seriously. She called Xavier in her head. "Professor, I have an emergency."
She felt his immediate response in her head, like a dream's echo, and within moments, the Professor wheeled his way into the kitchen area. The two spoke out of earshot for most of the students, but it was obvious from Kim's composure that something was up, and Xavier nodded, thinking. She waited for an answer.
"Very well, leave immediately. You can take the X-van."
Kim shook her head slightly with a frown. "Remember, I can't drive in the US, I have no license." she fretted. "I need someone I can rely on to come with me, while keeping this under wraps. Maybe Scott could drive me..."
"Scott is already too involved with matters in Bayville, I need him here. Kitty has her license now, I'll ask her." he assured.
Kim nodded, but looked uncertain. Besides her less-than-prefect driving record, Kitty had a way of spreading gossip in a way that wasn't gossiping, but accidental information-leaking. She didn't mean to, but juicy details always slipped out when she got chatty, and Anna's situation was one she wished to keep under cover to save her from personal embarassment. Kim had been the sole person privvy to Anna's "disappearance."
In the last few weeks of her staying in the Institute, Anna had struck a friendly relationship with the Psyche teacher, and although she trusted many of the other older inhabitants of the school, she trusted Kim with this secret, because she felt she was reliable and able to keep this tight-lipped. On the night she left, Kim had helped her pack and made sure she got away quietly and prepared. Now, Anna's situation had worsened, and she no longer felt she could handle things on her own.
Kim eschewed the many concerned looks she got from the students. Some of them could instinctively tell something was up. It was a rare occasion indeed that Kim looked worried about anything. Making her way into the hallway, she thought about what she would need to take on the trip.

"Pfft, the Brotherhood is so awesome we DESERVE slaves out of all you lot!" Pietro shouted as he caught the beer. Pointing it away, he opened it, and watched it explode in the opposite direction. He guzzled the rest of it down... Warsteiner, nice choice... and tossed it to the side. The rest of the Brotherhood began to settle beside him.
"Beer b***h..." he began, "The rest of our team is thirsty!"

Jacen had heard the phone ring through the open window through the back. Seeing as how Penance and himself weren't really speaking while they ate tonight, Jacen deemed it worthy to go answer it. Unfortunately, when he got into the house, he saw that Kim had answered it. He didn't make himself visible, and was about to head back outside when he heard one name that made him do an about face. Anna....
What....does this woman know about my sister's disappearance?, he asked himself as he stood by, in wonderment. He didn't hear anything more about anything else, but he did notice that Kim wasn't exactly looking happy when she hung the phone up and left the kitchen area. With that, Jacen headed outside.
"Evelyn.....," Jacen said quietly, "I'm headed back inside for a minute."
"What's up?"
"I'm not sure," he said while grabbing his plate. His food was nowhere near finished, but he did infact lose his appetite. "I'll tell you when I find out. Promise." With that, he leaned down and gave her a kiss before heading back inside. When inside, he dutifully discarded his food, and put the plate in the sink before heading through the house for a moment. As much as he didn't want to, he needed to talk with Kim about what he had just heard.
He thought for a second, before heading upstairs to his room and looking for a few of his things. On the way there, he did run into Kim while she looked to be in thought.
"Kim...right?," Jacen asked her, out of politeness.
"Yes, that's me."
"Ok.....do you want to tell me what's up with Anna?," he asked, out of curiousity.
"Why do you want to know?," she asked rather harshly. It seemed like she wasn't going to forget their first encounter anytime soon.
".....Why?," Jacen asked, "Why wouldn't I want to know what's going on with my sister?"

Morgan resisted the urge to toss the entire cooler at Pietro, and instead resigned himself to numerous fantasies about Pietro's demise. Most of which involved a piano. He pulled about a dozen beers out of the cooler, and distributed them by way of a forcefield "tray", that is, a flat forcefield upon which the beers were rested.
Why does he have to be such a p***k? If he was a decent guy, this wouldn't be so bad. Hell, even Toad would have been better than this. At least he's not an arrogant SOB, Morgan thought to himself as he distributed the beers among the Brotherhood members.

Taking a step back, Kim looked amazingly curious. Then after a second, it was obvious she didn't believe him, but she got no visible signs that he was bulshitting her. And anyway, why would he? She spoke skeptically.
"Anna never mentioned having a brother..."
"Because she doesn't know yet." he said simply. Once again, Kim's BS-finder couldn't detect anything in Jacen's speech or mannerism to suggest he was making this up. All the same, she couldn't just take his word for it. He wasn't to be trusted absolutely, especially with something like this. She started to speak slowly, but was interrupted.
"He's being honest, Kim." Xavier stated as he wheeled his way towards them. He spoke calmly to Jacen. "My apologies for taking liberties."
Kim looked a little distastefully at Jacen, as if to say, 'Anna is related to THIS guy?' But time was against her right now, and she needed to get moving, Kitty would be waiting in the Garage for her. As if on cue, Kitty yelled from down the hallway, "Hey, are we moving out now, or what?"
"Yeah, get the van started, Kitty!" Kim yelled back, then looked at Jacen. "So I guess you want to accompany us or something?"

OOC: Xavier isn't at the beach. Plane the quickest exit since Myrtle Beach is probably 12+ hours away from said destination.
IC:
A feeling had struck Penny thought dinner which made her somewhat uneasy and not exceedingly talkative. It was that deep seeded feeling people sometimes got in the back of their head when not everything was okay somewhere... to somebody she knew. She tried to push it away and ignore it, but it kept creaping up in her stomach. What was it? Why did she even have this feeling?
"You okay?" Regina asked her when Penny didn't finish her meal. That was completely uncharacteristic of her friend.
"Yea, I guess I'm just exhausted from today. I'm going to go lay down for a bit," She put her plate in the dish washer and headed up to her room. Maybe she could sleep off this feeling of unease.

OOC - Forgive the hiccups, then. They can be taking the X-van to the airport. As for Xavier being there, uhh... It was a ghost. Or it can be replaced by Jean or something.

Pietro sipped his beer, more than enjoying his tormenting of the guy who's a** he kicked only a few short months ago. Of course, he was sure to take his time with this set, he didn't want to get too drunk (or drunk at all, if he could avoid it). After all, the next bout...
"So sis..." he called out to Wanda, directing Morgan to go hand her a beer as well. "When does the next game start? God knows all these X-Fools we just schooled are gonna be gnawing at the bit to see their betters compete for their less-worthy eyes to behold!"

Morgan had no problem with getting a drink for Wanda. She seemed to share his hatred for Pietro, and she was also a decent person, aside from the burning hatred for most things. "Might I ask you a favour? Hurt him as much as you possibly can during your match. I don't care how you do it, I just want to see someone wipe that smug look off his face," he muttered to Wanda as he handed her a drink.

"I know." Gen grumbled. "But it still hurt, and it knocked me out of my happy daze." She pouted. Not looking at Blair, she watched the tv and felt a new fuzzy warmth spreading from where Bobby kept petting her head like she was a cat. "I'm not a cat..." she muttered, but so soft that only Teagan could hear her, since she secretly liked it.
ooc: so we've established that bobby was either bi or otherwise in the comics, so this is cool yes? by the way, no hurt feelings there blair. she's just being her character... uh... a bit drunk. ^^;;

OOC: It was never established that bobby was bi in the comics. He did, however, date a girl who turned out later to have the power to turn into a guy. Long story. Still, people point out everything from his inability to maintain a lasting relationship to always being the less-dominant person in the relationships he does manage to get into to say that he's gay/bi/whatever. So if we do it here it's not a huge stretch.

OOC: He's currently dating Polaris i believe; however, Chuck Austen kept trying to imply some kind of relationship between him and juggernaut that was unnecessary. But I find everythign Chuck Austen to write overglorified fan fiction that had no purpose. On a side note, not many charaters have lasting relationships in the comics.
IC:
Porter brough back drinks for Wanda and Freya. He was disappointed that the other X-Men team had lost. They were not going to be as nice to their 'slave' as Freya would be.
"If you need any help in the next match, technically, I can help since I am at your charge," He offered.

"Hmpf... I don't do favours," answered Wanda harshly to Morgan. "I do what I please and it just happened that hurting my brother no matter the occasion is one of my past times."
"Ahaha. Don't mind her, Morgan. She's trying to be nice," said Freya as she thanked Porter for the drinks.
Wanda just grabbed the drink and made a pouting face. She was blushing very lightly.
"Well Porter... If you want to play with us you can but you don't have too. I know we pretty much gave you a hard time and you deserve to rest. After all, you don't know what I'll be asking you yet," Freya told her slave. She gave him a cute smile before taking a sip of her drink and turned to Wanda. "Well I guess we better get started. Your brother is impatient."
"Oh you just noticed that?" replied the Scarlet Witch with her usual sarcastic tone. "I think he just can't wait to get his a** kick by me."
