*Hopian shakes his head*
Okay...that is a mistranslation...the phrase in Miner means I am going to the place to do something...

"I thought as much, but couldn't resist the chance to tease you. So either I'm getting better at d.miner and you feel so comfortable speaking it around me that you are no longer as careful about what you say... or, I'm never going to get this tongue. I try though. It is such a beautiful sounding language." laughs Tam holding the door open for him as Hopian follows him inside.

*Hopian nods his thanks to him, strolling inside*
I know it is...and that's why I have to be careful with it.

Tam frowns. "You have to be careful with the language because it sounds so beautiful... why is that?"

*Hopian chuckles*
Language breeds power, Talesian...imagine if I were to teach you how to sing in D. Miner, one of the most beautiful languages...imagine how much its beauty would enhance your magical music.

Tam smiles back. "I find it funny I don't know it all that well. True I do not know all the languages that creation holds, but I have a gift for tongues. Love is a universal language after all... and as a guardian, I've traveled far and wide. But I've never heard anything quite like it."

You'd never heard of Tradinias, until I told you, and for the same reason...no one would have repeated it to you...

"Thank heavens Kero no longer uses it as frequently as he used to do." says Tam with an awkward chuckle. "I think I've made a bit of headway there, in breaking him of that little habit.... but there are times when I'm not so sure."

The bard nods with a wicked grin. "That helped... but mostly he's begun to understand where I was coming from. It just took a little longer to get him to understand why than I thought it would. He still swears, but now he thinks about what he's saying and to whom he's speaking... which is all I ever really wanted him to do in the first place."

Tam shrugs. "It s more like he did it. We both know full well, iffin Kero doesn't want to do something, he won't... no matter how sweet the reward might be. Still, like his more mature self, he is a good person deep inside who thinks of others before himself. For all it's melodrama, emotional upsets and all, this task he put to me has been a joy, resting lightly on my heart."

Tam laughs and shoos him into the living room to visit with his kinsmen, then goes back to preparing the meal.
Salunia shows him her efforts and he praises her for being so careful and diligent. "Good work, Princess... there is only a little bit of peeling on them now and that's is just fine. I'll put them on to boil now, so why don't you go help yer mama keep an eye on yer brothers. Pyra and I can finish the rest easily."
