I was once a in a play where I was a "minor" character and I won a space as a competitor at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. But I didn't go as a competitor, just an actress. biggrin

The show is free, babe. The drinks are not. blaugh
Though, I got drinks for free because I'm quiet and not full of drama. biggrin
Anywho, we actually did pretty good. Nobody messed up their lines and everyone was on cue. We only lost because the script sucked. LOL

Yea, the script makes or breaks a play I think. That's what I like to think, because I suck at acting but awesome at writing wink

Well, the plot was amazing and some of the characters were well thought out, but the writing was a little off at times, you know? Lol
But I had fun! I loved my character. heart
Yeah, I guess I can say I'm good at acting and I guess I'm good at writing.
But I totally prefer to write! I control everything...and I guess I like to control. biggrin

Actually I've got a bit of Gertrude Stein in me. I don't mind if the actors interpret my script a bit differently than I do. For one, if people come to me with issues with the play I can pass on the blame smile
