Also, is Gaia glitching up, or did Techni add those " wink " emotes to Gunther's profile? lol ))
All was silent, everything stood absolutely still. Only the gentle breeze stirring around the snow on the ground disturbed the silence even in the slightest. Though this peacefulness didn't last long. One single creature peeked it's freakish face out of a tall snowbank, it was all fleshy and scrawny looking, though these creatures were far more dangerous than they seemed at first glance. Soon, dozens more of these creatures crawled out of their hiding places in the snow, joining their much larger leader. The group of mutants started heading towards the one nearby building out in the empty, snowy terrain, their beastly red eyes glowed with hatred and revenge. Something dark just darted by the group of mutants, it moved far too fast to see in detail. The mutants stopped where they were, two of them suddenly dropped over dead in pools of their greenish goo of blood. The shadowy figure rushed past again, cutting down three more of the mutants, this time however, it finally stood still for a moment. The shadow was not a mere shadow, it was an odd looking man, his tall and slender figure was completely black, dark as the nighttime sky, only his slanted yellow eyes revealed that he was more than just a shadow. "Its time this all ends, here and now, Syberius will be a free planet once more...and you wont stand in my way." His voice was deep and chilling, it seemed to fit his ominous appearance perfectly. This was Gunther, A.K.A "Shade", the one and only of his kind, a freak just like his opponents. Shade held up his almost demonic looking blade, as if to show the mutants what their fate was soon to be. The mutants charged at him, poisonous venom dripping from their long fangs. Shade disappeared in a burst of sudden movement, re-appearing behind the hasty little freaks, they instantly collapsed into the deep snow, creating a nasty green mess of blood and guts. This process repeated multiple times until none remained, their leader however, seemed to have fled the battle long ago. Shade sighed, what a pain in the butt these things were -not even a challenge to him. "Well, all clear for now...time to report back to Exias..." Shade told himself, taking his time getting back to the laboratory.

(your DNA Chimera Gunther has every major alien race's DNA, Eh? Then he would not have pyresian... they've been extinct for 20,000 years... except Jad... and Jad is considered to be a human to many... A human that never seems to age with bizzare stuff...)

Vexis rushed back to the dock, to her luck, there still was a steal-able ship docked currently. Vexis messed around with the keypad next to the door, the lock released after a moment and let her in. Vexis rushed inside, and took off on her way soon after, on to Syberius it was. 'Thank god its not that long of a trip...only about a few hours away if using the FTL warp, hopefully nothing attacks me again...'

Rosa walked back into the bridge of the Hummingbird, glancing over at Shina. "Do you need my assistance, or should I return to the Atlantis?" She asked, watching Nina leave and head back to the Atlantis.

Shade entered the large metallic doorway, just in time to avoid the blizzard that was already starting up outside. He went down the long hallway, which led to a steep set of stairs that opened up into the first of multiple lab rooms. "There, all clear now...though their leader seemed to have escaped." Shade told the room of scientists and experiments alike, then headed over to his chair in the far corner. "Also, another blizzard is starting up, so I wouldn't leave if I were you..." He warned one of scientists that was trying to go outside, she nodded to him and immediately returned to her project's station. 'These storms are growing more frequent lately, they're getting rougher, too...those stupid mutants are to thank for that...' Shade sat back, relaxing his head against the cold metal wall, shutting his bright yellow eyes. 'But I will end this...Syberius wont be under their control much longer....hopefully...'
((@Techni: Ah, I didn't think that would equal the wink emote, though... confused
@SPI: Yeah, hes only got DNA from currently existing races like Syniths and whatever else is out there.))

Syberius is Layla's home planet, BTW, she was born and grew up there...thats also where they turned her into a cyborg. The planet is entirely snow and ice (except for the core of the planet, but everything above that is pretty much ice and snow), it's very sparsely populated, there are only a few major cities on it along with many smaller villages. Syberius is mainly a planet of experimentation, they have a series of smaller laboratories all across the planet, Exias is their main facility (Exias is the other lab thats affiliated with Axion, Exias works on mainly mutation/biological experimentation, whereas Axion specializes in robotics and weapon development). Ever since an accidental chemical leak several years ago, these strange "Mutants" have been showing up and causing major havoc amongst any civilization they find. Gunther was also born in Syberius, he was just a normal person for the longest time, though Exias scientists "invited" him to help them evolve their research. They started mutating him by infusing different DNA into him about 10 years ago, they have tried this same procedure on many people before, but it only seemed to work on him, all the others died. Now Syberius is being overrun by the Mutants, and Gunther is meant to exterminate all he can find of them. ))" And then...she faded to darkness.

Marth wordlessly picked up Maggie's unconscious body, then Blake's now awake body, and hefted them both into the Atlantis. Once they were both in beds in the Atlantis' infirmary, he slid the door shut and left to find somewhere, anywhere, that could offer him the comfort of solitude.
Nolan enjoyed a fast-paced action novel. Not quite his type, usually, but he needed something to pass the time, and not to become enthralled in to the point where he couldn't put it down without finishing it.

((Staves are not for those who aren't skilled enough for a sword - staves are actually extremely deadly weapons, quick, powerful, long-reaching, and beautiful. What good is a sword if I can break your wrist before you can even attack?))
Talon looked up at the looming Lark, still involuntarily trapped in his squirrel form. <I came to see if you'd like some company,> he spoke in her mind. <However, being among all this nature must have... influenced my powers.>
Lark sighed, then replied in a dry voice, "Don't flatter yourself. Powers you have not, only ability. You have no talent for your abilities, however."
<That's rather rude,> Talon commented freely. However, he took no offense. Lark was Lark, and she wouldn't change for him, or anybody. But... especially not for him, which was disappointing....
Lark rolled her eyes, then returned her gaze to the canopy above. She stood, as if to get closer to the enthralling view, and stood like that for minutes on end.

Matt glanced at Kryxel sidelong before gingerly picking up the tool. It felt heavy and powerful, like it would require little effort to swing into a bone-breaking whack. Such a tool... so powerful, it would seem.
After a minute, Matt followed Kryxel to the other part of the gym.

((Though, of coarse, staves are only good against swords as long as they're metal and not wood or bamboo...otherwise...*Chop!* xd ))
The blizzard outside raged on in it's cold fury of snow, everything was difficult to see because of how thick the snowfall was. Shade just sat back, watching as everyone scurried around in the lab, working on their various experiments -some of which were attempts to make another version of what Shade had become. "It won't work, you know. Victor has already tried that same project multiple times...I was the only freak who was able to withstand the mutation's power..." Shade explained to the small group of three that were working on a project very similar to him. The scientists seemed to have ignored him, they were used to Gunther's always negative feedback by now. Shade just chuckled a bit, only one of his yellow eyes were open and watching -having both eyes open was too much effort, after all. 'Morons.'
"Gunther! We need your help with something..." A rather short bald man wearing big, round glasses and a standard lab tech outfit called out, entering from one of the other labs. Victor was his name.
Shade sighed, then sat up in his chair -he had no choice but to listen to Victor, Victor was the one who made Gunther what he is, and Victor's words were practically law to Gunther. "What is it now?" He asked reluctantly.
Victor held up his little hand held computer, the screen displayed data on one of the nearby (and by "nearby", we're talking several miles away) villages called Ethias. "Ethias has sent out a distress signal, probably another mutant attack..." Victor explained, pushing up his glasses over his huge nose.
"AGAIN?? Jeez...they're getting attacked practically every other *Cyclo..." Shade sighed, but got up and headed towards the door again. Back out into the harsh, snowy abyss that was Syberius.
((* Cyclo: The Syberian term for "Day", though their days are slightly shorter than 24 hours due to the sun going down earlier and rising again sooner than on most planets.))

Vexis was surprised at how smoothly everything was going so far, though just when she starts thinking that is usually when things turn for the worse. However, this time seemed different...maybe the universe thought that she screwed up enough for today to make up for it? Vexis's mind was filled with nothing but regret now, she wasn't even really paying attention to the outside world, anyway. Everything was moving so slowly for her...she felt like she was several days, no, several years behind everyone and everything else. Vexis glanced down at the autopilot's currently set destination, Syberius was only about 2 hours away now, but to her, it all felt like 2 years away. 'Why can't I leave this path of self destruction...? When will it ever end?'
