_____The pack of hormaguants crept forward toward the squad of Imperial Guardsmen, making no noise as their limbs moved them slowly toward their enemy. The pack was to eliminate the enemy's heavy weapons so their larger warriors would be unopposed as they advanced toward the main camp. As a sentry Guardsmen made his way toward the edge of the camp, his lasrifle slung over his shoulder, the hormaguants sprang into action. The look on the guardsmen's face lasted only a second before it was ripped in two, the gaunt quickly passing him making their way to the mass of soldiers. Shock was spread through the camp, a Commissar executing any soldiers attempting to flee and trying to restore order. The guardsmen felled only 3 hormaguants, their bodies riddled with las-wounds, before the hormaguants made it into combat. Quickly the soldiers started to fall under the wave of chitin, the gaunts quickly dealing with the enemies. The Commissar proved the biggest challenge to the gaunts, killing two of their numbers before himself being cut down from the hormagaunts, a litany of hate on his lips. Though the combat bought the guardsmen some time, a heavy bolter being set up during the slaughter of the main group. Large shells ripped apart the gaunts, keeping them at bay. It looked as though the guard might drive off the gaunts, but then it came. A lector, which had quietly made it's way into the camp shortly after it was made, sprung up from nearby foliage, it's cameo-skin distorting it's appearance as it charged the crew of the turret. Almost immediately they were killed, the large blades slicing them clean in two while the hormaguants preceded their advance, finishing off what was left of the opposition. The enemy had been weakened, and the hormaguants suffered only 9 casualties in all. The Hive Fleet would feed well on this world.

That's... gory... and you're 14... eek
Anyway, good writing, although not an introductory post. Not enough detail about the background, characters, setting, time, etc... aaand, I have no idea what half of those words are, but I would with a good intro post. That help?

And I wouldn't expect you to know what half the things were, though a 40K fan would. 3nodding Which is more common in England then the US(Would you believe there are more GW's in England then All of the US?). Well, to make it easy for you: Raptors: Heretic Space Marines(Genetically Modified Super Soldiers) wearing Jump-Packs who have spent too much time in the warp(Raw Chaos and Psychic Energy), who excell in Hit-an-Run tactics, plus raids on smaller enemy encampments. Plasma Gun: Shoots Super-Heated Plasma that easily melts through armor and flesh. Hormaguant: A six-limbed Tyranid(Imagine Giant Space Locusts, and you kinda get the drift), which excells in close combat and can bound great distances quickly. Lictor: A Large Tyranid breed, which has a natural camo-skin that conforms to make it match with the environment, and stands about 10ft tall, that is sent ahead of most Tyranid forces to wreck havok in surprise attacks. Heavy Bolter: A Large, Heavy Gun that shoots rounds about the size of a red-bull can into the enemy with high speed.

Would you believe there are more people in my city than alot of states? razz Ok, I knew about the plasma gun already, as the name pretty much gives it away, some of that helped, but in your descriptions, you used alot of other words I don't know... sweatdrop

Eeeeeh, I can't be bothered to go through all that and find them all. Sorry. The fact that they are monsters or soldiers will do enough.
