At the sound of his name Reinhart appeared charging at Hono ready to strike, fists balled tightly covered in stone and fire. Once upon her he'd go right through her, past her, and striking an opponent from the last HoH. Under her the 'ground' shook from the impact, the force of wind threatened to knock her off her feet, and the sound was loud enough to defen her if only for a second. Not a moment later, the image went from looking solid to looking like liquid as it metled onto the dark ground.
All the colors faded save for the blood red color of Reinhart's eye and once the image was fully melted away it sprang at her. A demon born of the blood itself shot at Hono shrieking as it closed the space between them. If one had the time to look they'd realise it had the shape of a woman, fangs blaring, clawssharp as razors, all made of this blood. A familiar face stepped forth in front of her however defending against the bloody thing.
Behind it all was none other than the old aquaintance, Reinhart. In front of it stood Sunstrike, behind him was her. A bit of last year's HoH tournament? Had Hono even seen that fight? Just as quickly as they'd come they dissapeared however, both Reinhart and Sunstrike gone from sight. Behind her two blurred figures rested, one seated, the other standing, both with their backs to her. It would seem Hono was too far off to make out the images however........
would she continue the trip down memory lane?

Hono barely even blinked as the first image rushed her, but the demon spawn actually made her shy away slightly.
This was definitely a showcase of Reinhart memories...but there was a slight glitch in that last one... she had not been at the last tournament! Hono had been there during the sign up and that was it...so it looked like a mixture of her memories...and Reinharts.
As she tried to make out the details of the only remaining images, part of her mind wondering if Reinhart would see her as more of a monster now than she had ever thought him to be!

Fully clear the images were of her and him, something that took palce right after that fight with Sunstrike was taking place once again. A battered Reinhart looking up at Hono with hazy eyes was being healed. Instead of her looking on them she'd had taken her own place, she stood now where her image had been looking down on and healing the battered fighter. She may've missed the fight but she was definitely there to help him once it was over, the mental strain he'd taken was clear from the blood that came from his ear.
When the scene ended he was gone leaving Hono by herself once more, a sound came from the surrounding darkness however. A howl, a groan, sounds of pain and monstrous anger. Whatever place she was in shook hard enough to knock anyone off balance and when everything settled down there he stood. Not five feet from her, that blood colored energy oozing from his eye like smoke catching her gaze in his. Something was off though, he didn't stand alone, oh no.
All those things Hono had helped him push back into the darkest part of his mind once stood over, behind, and next to the man. Different beings from all parts of this world, be it a giant demon, or small hound they stood with him mirroring his gaze all looking to her. Was this in fact a trip down memory lane, a nightmare, a simple dream, a warning, or an invatation? The answer to that was up to her as the scene was over and Hono would find herself alone once more.
Home on her pillows wrapped in her blankets, that fist chill she felt came and went, and a small droplet of blood fell on her hand. A sign of things to come perhaps.

A world of black and white, shades of gray. There was apparently a large mat on the ground, and the background was mist. Flashes of light could be seen through the fog, but it wasn't as if there was much to see here.

It was all a reoccuring dream, one Lazenca didn't like too much. Yet he was here, waiting for whoever was having the same one.

Tap tap. Tap tap.
The echo of a tapping cane rung out over the open floor, the mist giving way to reveal a teenage girl gingerly picking her way forward.
"Oh my...this smell is different...am i still in the merchant ring?
One minute she had been trying to find her way around the stadium, the next the blind girl's senses were assaulted with completely different sounds and smells.
"...Um...Hello? I seem to be lost...oh dear..."
Who would've thought training in this place would be so hard?

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere John stood.
He was looking at his left arm intently, inspecting it almost, as if he'd missed it. 'If only this was real..." John whispered to himself. Perhaps the Void recognized his missing arm because it had been so recently taken, like phantom pains or something.
either way, he was here for a reason, and he lowered his arm and waited for someone to come.
He didn't have to wait long.

As far as Enki was aware, he was napping. Keyword here being was. Clutching onto a white oak staff, he opens one eye and looks around a bit. This looks far too familiar for his own good, and he knows why. Last time he saw this place, he got wooped by his old friend, Maximos. Now it seems he's here yet again and can only ponder to himself what good, old friend fate would pit him against this time. He stands up and brushes himself off before looking around at the area surrounding him.

Laughter would make Enki start.
John laughed heartily, his hands in his pockets, as he saw who the Void had pit him against. "My gods...of all the people in all the world, it's finally you." John said, his voice filled with mirth. "There had been a time when i would've given my left arm for a fight with you, Enki... now it just doesnt seem like much of a big deal anymore."
He cocked his eyebrow. "How long has it been since you've fought someone seriously? Years?"

Enki smirks and leans a bit against his staff, grinning over, or should I say, up at John Tomorrow. A man he hasn't seen in quite some time and now fate has decided to pit the blue bomber against the big guy.
"Oh, I'd say I fought around the last time you actually won a fight..."

"So last week, then. How'd you go?" John asked, keeping his stance loose, his hands in his pockets.
"Badly, i'll bet. But then, we all have our bad streaks, dont we?"
He cocked his head back in a 'get over here' manner. "C'mon then. Show me what you got."
John was cocky because, quite frankly, he'd fought Death not a few minutes ago. Compared to that empty gaze, the blank face which took his arm with the swipe of a sword without a second's hesitation, Enki was a child in a paddling pool to John.
And, whilst John wasn't particularly taken to knocking children around, this kid had it coming a little.

"Honestly, I don't want to fight you, John. But seeing as how I apparently have no choice in the matter, I suppose it shall have to be done."
Had this man not protected Enkis daughter on many different occasions, the blue haired water spite would want to kill him. Seeing as how Enki has more respect for him then he probably should, there is no death wish. Whatever, Enki thinks before setting up, his feet shoulder width apart with his left foot forward and the pole held out diagonally toward John's head.
"Ok then... let's get this over with."

"Lets."
Obviously Enki wasn't going to bring the fight to John...so John was going to have to take the fight to him.
Taking his hands out of his pockets, wearing a goofy smile on his bearded face, John began to walk towards Enki. Nothing rushed, a gentle stride, slightly faster then usual thanks to his longer gait, his arms swinging gently by his sides.
When he got within reaching distance, he'd simply pick Enki up and piff him. Through the air. Very far.
((Author's note - 'piffing', noun, a Australian slang term for throwing. See 'peg', 'chuck', 'toss', 'throw'.))

When John is close enough, Enki simply backs up one more step and brings his staff in a full arch toward the ground, straight at John's ankle.

When the staff hits John's ankle, he stops.
And just looks at enki.
As if to say 'is that all you got'?
This was a man who took regular trips through trees, concrete, steel. Who could lift over 3 tons without breaking a sweat. Whose main mode of transport is leaping from city to city.
Reaching down, John grabs the haft of the staff poking at John's foot, gripping it tightly in his hand, before standing up straight again, looking Enki square in the eye and says -
"Get it back."

As John reaches down, Enki quickly flicks his wrist and flings the pole back at him, the majority of the pole now behind Enkis body.
"You know, I had an odd feeling that wasn't going to work. I also have an odd feeling that in a physical battle, there is no way I'm going to beat you no matter how hard I try..."
Enki is already out of ideas, unless he really wants to use how powers. There-in lies the problem. He really doesn't want to. Enki stands there, watching a moment.
