"Riza? Don't just sit there, you heard what he said about our pokemon right? Damn..." She wasn't listening to him anymore. Crenu watched as Riza sank to her knees and clutched onto her pokemon in an instinctual fashion to try and protect her. He didn't blame her, the little Ralts didn't exactly look like she was packing power and keeping ones pokemon safe in this situation was key. However, Crenu wondered why she hadn't just recalled her to her pokeball. Before Crenu could try and rationalize this however, a more pressing matter arose.
"Alright kiddies, hand over yer pokemon! A Larvitar and a Ralts eh, those runts'll be reeeeeaaaaaal nice when they evolve." A Rocket Grunt had come over to them looking for pokemon to steal. Quickly advancing towards them, the Rocket already had his hand reaching for his belt.
"Larvitar Screech!" Crenu called before the grunt could make a move and summon a pokemon. As the grunt became disorientated by the high pitched sound of Larvitar's screech, Crenu stepped into the Rocket and slammed his fist into thae man's chest. The grunt toppled over, probably out cold, but the commotion drew the attention of several other Rocket grunts that didn't seem to appreciate the resistance. "...Tch." Crenu took several steps back getting closer to Riza, until she snapped out of it he wasn't going to let her pokemon get stolen. Two more grunts rushed in, Crenu met one with a punch to the jaw but was caught by the second one who gave him a knee to the stomach. Crenu dropped to one knee in the grunt's grasp, but managed to pull his leg out from under him and get him off balance. Getting up quickly, Crenu smashed his head into the Rocket's chin and knocked him back as well. Holding his stomach, he looked around as he got stable, three more Grunts decided to release their pokemon instead of rushing. There was a Golbat, an Ekans, and a Radicate ready to close in and attack. "Alright Larvitar, buy us some time with another Screech!"
"Ekans, go for the Ralts!" Ekans was already on the move, slithering into position. Coiling up, the Snake Pokemon launch itself at the girl to attack her pokemon with glowing purple fangs. Sinking its teeth into something, the Ekans bit down hard. But much to the grunt's and Ekan's surprise, it wasn't the original target. His grip weakened as he was shaken up by the sound blast.
Crenu had slid into place in front of Riza, his arm held up in front of him and taking the force of the bite. Standing up he quickly flung his arm to the side sending the Ekans bouncing onto the floor, blood trailing from the bite wound where the fangs were ripped from. Crenu didn't flinch as he stared them down with a serious expression, his bleeding arm trembling a bit. "I'm you're opponent, don't even think about anyone else." He legs almost buckled, but Crenu was able to retain his balance. There must have been some lingering poison in that Ekan's fangs.

M.A.'s abrupt show of force left her a bit winded, as if she had just made a 400-meter dash instead of decking some guy. Really, she sucked at this physical stuff. And maybe actually remember to take her iron; when was the last time she did?
Daemyn looked up at his trainer, a bit bewildered to see the brunette closing her eyes and taking deep breaths. He'd never seen her anything short of complacently relaxed; upon noticing those black eyes watching her, however, the girl grinned even more vivaciously than she usually did and assured the canine that she was quite alright, just a little tuckered out from the day. He took her word for it, but the canine made a mental note not to leave her side while the madness was ensuing.
"Oh! Hi Mitsu," M.A. greeted, as if all hell wasn't breaking loose around them. The panic that she should have felt, maybe, had dissipated somewhere. It almost felt like she wasn't really there -- that she in some simulated game, controlling her sluggish body from afar. Not so far away, however, were a small group of Rocket Grunts swaggering about with their horde of Pokemon out, randomly targeting trainers and overwhelming them then stealing them away with those black balls. When the trainers tried to resist, well, the pack of Pokemon didn't hesitate to attack them, too.
M.A. cringed when a Golbat slammed some hapless guy to the ground. Uh, what was she doing here in this mess again? The panic was coming back a little, but she gulped it down. There was no way they'd take Daemyn too, she thought defensively, wrapping an arm around him from her position on the ground. Besides, they weren't even coming this way...
Oh, false alarm, they certainly were. "Aww, skinny little girl's hugging her doggie. Why don't you kiss him good-bye too?" a woman with a high-pitched voice asked (think Janice from Friends, if possible). She cackled at her own poor joke. "Well?"
Daemyn snarled, spit dripping from his jaws. The woman laughed, along with a few of the guys with her. One of her companions smirked. "What, ya wanna fight? Against all of us?" he said, gesturing to the dozen or so Pokemon there. They were definitely somewhat outnumbered.
Daemyn tugged away, and M.A. dropped her arms. He looked at her worriedly, however, having witnessed the Rockets' Pokemon attacking the trainers, too. They would play underhandedly if they needed to. M.A. returned his glance with an equally worried one. Would he be able to take on so many? "It doesn't look like we have much of a choice," she said reluctancy, a tinge of fear in her voice. God, she wasn't extraordinarily brave, but she'd stand up in times of need. She couldn't possibly lose her Pokemon. Daemyn nodded at the resolution in his trainer's eyes, licking her face. "Aww, he really did give her a kiss!" the woman cackled.
The Houndoom reached up and nudged one of M.A.'s Pokeballs, releasing Ulani. With a growl and a nudge of his head towards M.A., he clearly told the Swablu to stay with the brunette and guard her; sensing the urgency in Daemyn's tne, Ulani actually listened for once. And then the hordes came.

Adrenaine rushed to fill her entire being as the horde or Rockets and Pokemon amassed themselves before herself and M.A. Karri would have a field day with these suckers. A toothy grin stretched her lips into an upwards curve before disappearing in the flash of words. "Karri Psychic!" she shouted pointing a finger at the mob. The first few ranks, considerably weak leaders, were easily flung aside from the Gardevior's green aura. An Ekans hissed in protest has the aura constricted it's body. It was defiantely not used to having the same treatment done to it as it had done to others.
An Absol barked in protest, unaffected by Karri's Psychic. "Damn, Absol," Mitsu muttered under her breath. It's a good thing I brought Sapphire with me. "Sapphire! Beat Up!" The firebrand appeared, ready to battle. His training sessions with Touya not only served to make him more of a stronger contender but a bit more arrogant as well. However, arrogant does not mean unloyal. Sapphire gave a mightly howl before shadowy figures of an Ivysuar, a Gengar, and a Pidgeotto all materalized before her eyes and each began to put a beat down on the Rocket's Pokemon, especially that pesky Absol. Sapphire howled before launching himself into the fray upon Mitsu's command. Only catching a glimpse of the other Houndoom, who seemed to be an ally. That damn kid looked familiar, so oddly familiar. He shook his head, no time to think of the runt, there was a fight to be fought, Pokemon to pummel, and Rockets to ridicule.

"Well, here we are." The young girl, with deep purple hair, spoke with an air of adventure in her voice. "Route 38." She grinned widely as she turned to her partner. "It'll probably be a while before we'll see Jomei and Pizza again. Are you ready to go Hades?" "Yuuoooooo!" The Duskull replied in it's usual cutesy voice, waving it's ghostly arms up and down joyously. "Perfect, let's get the show on the road." She agreed, as they took their first steps forward on their new journey together.
Junko's mind raced with excitement while she trudged along the trail. Which Pokemon would she catch on her very own first? What would her first battle be like? What was her brother doing now? Why did he name his Cyndaquil Pizza? She then began to think back to a past conversation between her twin brother and herself four years earlier.
"Pizza? You're naming it Pizza?" "Well, pizza's red, Cyndaquil's flames are red... It makes perfect sense." Said the young boy looking to the sky with his forefinger and thumb on his chin. "I've decided that when I become a real Pokemon trainer I'm going to name all of my Pokemon after my favorite foods." He said with a gleam of happiness in his eyes. "Hmm, I don't know how to tell you this, but that's... What's the word I'm looking for...?" "Yuooooo!" "Oh, that's it! Dumb." "You obviously can't see true individuality when it's right in front of you." Jomei replied with a sense of pride. Individuality? First of all they were twins. Even though they were boy and girl twins, they looked and acted a lot alike. Any individuality, look wise, was left behind in the womb. Not to mention every fat kid around the world had already thought to name their Pokemon after their favorite cuisines. Since her brother never inquired as to why she named her Duskull Hades, Junko decided not to bother him about it anymore. She would chuckle about it in the back of her mind every once in a while though.
"Yoooomaaa!" The piercing wail from her partner broke Junko out of her deep reminiscing. Though, before she could even inquire as to why her Duskull was screaming at the top of it's lungs, her head and feet quickly replaced each other and she was face first in the dirt.

Leo looked up at his boss as he was given an order and he saluted quickly before turning back to the stage. It seemed Mai was teeming with unbridled anger and she'd already set her Typhlosion on the attack. Not only that, but the tall, blonde (and very gorgeous) woman had released one of the Pokemon from the slides, and even from where he stood Leo could feel the power emanating from the Garchomp. Mai's Typhlosion was tossed like a salad and she was none too happy about it. "Sinnoh champ, eh? Hot damn." Leo gave a low whistle and looked around, wondering just how he was going to snag that briefcase with the woman and her Pokemon in the way. "Hmm." He took a Pokeball from his belt and enlarged it, tossing it up into the air. A Noctowl appeared overhead, and Leo quickly gave his orders to the Flying-type. With a nod, the owl was off, swiftly flying in and swerving around the battle that had erupted on stage. Talons outstretched, the owl swooped down and snatched the briefcase from the Professor before heading back towards its trainer, prize in claw.
At some point during her meandering through the crowd, Kasiya lost her grip on Keegan's hand, though she assumed he'd continue to follow her regardless. There were no words to describe what was going on other than utter chaos. Battles, both between Pokemon and people, had broken out almost everywhere, though Kasiya was able to walk a straight line to where her friends where. "Guys!" she called out to Mike and Kilik, a bit out of breath from the hustle and bustle of clambering over chairs and bits of debris. She glanced up at Giovanni, wincing as the Dragonite let off another destructive Hyper Beam, and she flinched a little. No Kasiya, she told herself. Be brave, he's just trying to intimidate us! She fell in line beside Mike, feeling better to have him at her side. The two of them, when battling together, currently had a flawless record, and Kasiya was ready to keep that hot streak alive. "You guys ready?" she asked, releasing Ariel. The Vaporeon materialized alongside Portabello and Bahamut, oddly ready for battle. "Let's show him just what we're capable of," Kasiya said, mostly to her Pokemon, but also partially to herself. The last time she and her friends had squared off against Giovanni, Mike had been doing all the battling and she had been doing whatever it took to bring Nina back from the darkness that taken her. This time, however, she was ready for them.
The sudden surge in activity around her had mildly separated Flannery from Mike, though she could still see him and Kilik through the crowd quite easily. She sighed, looking around in time to see a grunt heading towards her, a sadistic smile plastered onto his ugly face. "Give me your Pokemon, b***h!" he chuckled, eying her up and down like some sort of perverted creep.
"b***h?" Flannery repeated, very much offended by the name calling. "Now that sort of thing is uncalled for!" The creep lunged for her, but the agile Flannery easily evaded the attempted strike and quickly lashed out with her long leg, catching him the groin with a rather well-placed and strong kick. That hit was promptly followed up by the introduction of Flannery's elbow to his face and just like that, he was on the ground, out cold. "I don't like being called names," she yelled down at the grunt's limp body, looking up in time to see yet another one headed for her, obviously annoyed by how easily she'd taken out his comrade. This caused a smile to flash across her face, as she was no stranger to roughhousing, mainly due to the fact that her two best friends growing up had been boys and she'd learned more than a thing or two about defending herself. "Oh, would you like some pain, too?" she called out sweetly to the grunt, but got only a growl in reply. He swung a haphazard fist in her direction, but this too was easily evaded and Flannery tripped him by means of a sweeping kick. "Glad! To! Oblige!" she yelled, a word between each kick she landed to the man's ribs. Not only did it make her feel good to be fighting for good and justice and all that jazz, but laying some hurt on a few cretins was also oddly therapeutic.

Kirsa listened to the professor speak with vague interest, finding herself intrigued by all the slides that were shown. A whole new region of Pokemon was being opened up to the public? Man, at this rate she was never going to catch up to everyone! Ah well, not that it really mattered. She recognized some of the voices that were shouting out questions and a quick look-around confirmed this: one of the boys was Kilik, and the other was...Mike, was his name? The one who made the grand entrance on the Charizard.
"...Um. I suppose." Kirsa replied to Sasha's giggle about boys being cute when they were angry, assuming she was referring to Mike. So there weren't really any Fire types in this new region...Kirsa wasn't sure if she cared or not. As far as she knew, she didn't really have a preferred type, though the two she had were Dark and Fire. Hm. "...What do you think of this new re-" The cadet didn't get a chance to finish as she was suddenly yanked behind the large boulder Pokemon by Sasha. Dammit, if only she had been paying attention to their surroundings, rather that listening to some old codger talk! She was mentally kicking herse- oh hello there, boobies. Once more Kirsa suddenly found herself buried face-first in Sasha's chest. This time the cadet let out a muffled protest, squirming and wiggling until she had slipped down out of her grasp. "Grah! Now is NOT the time to be worrying about your shirt, Sasha! We have to help!"
No matter, she could make up for her lack of attention now. Kirsa knew that Hans and Rolf probably wouldn't stand a chance against any of the Pokemon the Rockets had, but that wasn't something that was really important. Kirsa had a duty to fulfill, both as a solider and a Pokemon trainer, to protect the citizens of Slateport and her own Pokemon, who would willing put themselves through battle after battle for her. It was the least she could do in return. Unfortunately, she was without a weapon, but that was what improvision was for.
The purple haired cadet grabbed up a chair that was nearby, folded it up, and holding it as one would a baseball bat she jumped up onto a still-standing chair and launched herself at a Rocket that was hurrying past toward some younger looking trainers, catching him completely off guard from the side. There was an audible metal 'TANG' sound, and when the pair landed the Grunt was out cold, Kirsa standing over him with the chair. Hmph, he went down so easily. Quickly she looked around to see where Sasha was, and couldn't help but notice that Ivann seemed to be missing; her red eyes quickly scanned the ground in the immediate area, hoping that he wasn't hurt or something. Thankfully he was not, so she simply assumed he was somewhere, doing something to help as he had a duty, too. No reason to worry, he could probably take care of himself.
"Sasha! Don't just stand there, DO SOMETHING." Kirsa barked out in a voice that could have rivaled a Drill Sergeant, so much louder than her usual quiet tone.

Riza's eyes were wide with a mixture of fear and panic as the brawl unfolded before her, and soon they had been surrounded by men wearing dark uniforms, each with a big red R stamped on the chest. Suddenly they were attacking Crenu, but he wasn't about to be taken down without a fight, and slowly Riza began to come to her senses, particularly after Crenu's fist landed a solid punch to one of the Rockets' jaws. He'd knocked down two of the black-clad men but there were still more coming. The next exchange of attacks happened quickly, and when the ekans bit into Crenu's arm, she snapped out of it completely. If he hadn't jumped in the way, that Ekans would have bitten her or Ralts. "Crenu..." she whispered, completely shocked that he would protect her like that when he had no clear reason to.
Ralts, though trembling from fright, turned her gaze towards the Pokemon that had just attacked her trainer's new friend. It looked mean and vicious, and it had obviously been taught to attack people. She looked up at Riza as she sensed her trainer's emotions changing from fear to anger, and suddenly the tall girl was on her feet, with Ralts standing in front of her. 'We may not be the strongest ones here, but that doesn't mean we can't fight too,' she thought, glaring at the purple snake. "Ralts, use confusion!" she shouted, a slight tremble still lingering in her voice. Ralts nodded quickly and pointed her small white hand at the ekans, sending out a blast of green psychic energy at the snake. "That's the way, Ralts!" Riza cheered, though she was sure it seemed to be a lot stronger than the last time she'd used this attack. She also would have sent Sneasel out as well, but being the stronger of her two Pokemon she wanted to keep the dark and ice-type in reserve. * * * * * The buizel cried out as the starly's wings crashed into it, and it darted back, its two tails flicking back an forth angrily. "Are you going to take that from them, Buizel? Fight back with a water gun!" the older boy shouted. Buizel shook its head and looked up at the Starly, cheeks puffing out before it sprayed out a jet of water at Noa.
"Try to dodge that, Noa!" Katie called, but the buizel's aim was true and the water gun scored a direct hit to Noa's chest. "Shake it off and go with quick attack again," Katie commanded.
"You too, Buizel! Quick attack!"
The two speedy Pokemon were suddenly moving so fast that neither trainer could really see their Pokemon. Now and then, Noa would cry out, and then the buizel would screech with pain, but it was impossible to tell which Pokemon currently had the upper hand. "Hang in there, Noa! You can do it!" Katie called out, trying to encourage her Pokemon.

The Ekans was sent tumbling back after the super effective attack landed. Crenu grinned as he regained his composure, things would be a lot easier with the two of them. "Good to see you back on your feet." He figured he could leave the Ekans to Riza and concentrate on the Radicate and Golbat. "Let's go Hitmonlee, Jump Kick that Radicate!" With a flash of light Crenu had released Hitmonlee from his pokeball, the Kicking Pokemon rearing to go again after that humiliating defeat. Leaping off of one foot, Hitmonlee rocketed towards the Radicate ready to mow it down.
"Alright Radicate, Crunch that punk pokmemon's leg in two!" One of the Grunts issued, causing the Mouse Pokemon to shoot forward with amazing speed. Leaping up into the air, the Radicate's jaws clamped down on Hitmonlee's knee, was overwhelmed by the force with which he was suddenly pushed back. Hitmonlee on the other hand felt a sharp pain from the initial bite, but was able to shrug it off handily as the dark attack did only half its damage. Radicate found itself pounded into the ground by a powerful leg, slowly getting up to his feet.
"Damn, don't be such an idiot next time fool! I'll handle that Hitmonlee. Golbat, Air Cutter!" The Golbat shriek in delight, batting its wings rapidly at the Hitmonlee. With one last fierce flap, the Golbat sent razor like gusts of wind at the defenseless fighting type pokemon.
"Larvitar block! It won't end that easily Grunt, you're mine!" In a split second, Larvitar had slid across the battle field and made to shield Hitmonlee with his body. The larvitar jumped up into the air and crossed his hands in front of his body as he prepared for the slashing wind to strike. Upon contact with his rock hard skin, the wind scattered and had little effect, but the blast was still strong enough to send Larvitar back several before he landed with a thud. The Larvitar had a determined look in his eye, he would never let his master down. A sudden flash engulfed the Rock Skin Pokemon as he stared down the Golbat, growing taller and wider as his limbs grew smaller and non existent. Several spiny growth appeared on the head of his new oval shaped body and when the bright light subsided, a blue shelled cocoon like being with fierce eyes stood tall and ready to fight. "Heh, don't think losing your limbs will he a sufficient excuse Pupitar, I expect nothing but your best."
Meanwhile, the third Rocket was severely pissed that the girl he'd tried to take for a weakling was suddenly fighting back. Ekans had recovered and was rearing to go for another round with the little white pokemon. "Alright girl, how's this! Ekans, Acid now!" Ekans hissed angrily as he cocked his head back, launching it forward and spewing a highly corrosive sickly looking yellow ooze at the Ralts.

The Rockets looked warily at the two Houndooms. They knew perfectly well of their fire's effects, and did not look forward to being licked by it. So they simply got to cheering -- "Just do your thing, Golbat!" "Tear them to pieces, Ratticate!"
Daemyn had the opportunity to glance over at the ally -- or at least he figured it was an ally, since it was fighting all these Pokemon with him, and it had a trainer that wasn't all in black -- and he would have dropped his jaw if his mouth wasn't full of a Raticate's a**. Literally. He combined that weird firey attack with his bite in a Fire Fang than thrust the bloated rat away like a rag doll (how much stronger his jaws had gotten when he evolved!). "Brother?" the canine asked over the ruckus, the question mark clear in his tone. How many blue Houndooms were there? He hadn't seen his brother since they were both little, but he would bet anything that this was his blood right here, from the scent and the sight of him.
Suddenly breaking into a sprint, the Houndoom pretty much plowed through a few Pokemon, sending them flying in his energetic dash. One of them, an Ariados, latched onto his back and attempted to either Leech Seed or String Shot him down, but it really just annoyed the hell outta him. To get the nasty leech off his back, he whipped his head around and coated his own back with flames, of which he didn't really feel due his Flash Fire activating. And then, back to that blue Houndoom. Ally or not, Daemyn slammed into the guy with the blunt of his horns, not even holding back. The Houndoom then gazed levelly at the other, though anger kept his teeth bared. "I thought you were dead." Suddenly, however, a Murkrow rushed at the two canines, and Daemyn limbly bit into the bird like a roasted chicken and spat it back out with a good-bye ceremony of flames. Barbequed. "That's one for me," Daemyn smirked, before pushing off his brother with his hind legs and entering the melee.
Ulani, meanwhile, noted the oncoming wave towards the two girls that that stupid Houndoom was too busy being stupid to notice. Gee whiz, did she have to do everything by herself? Whipping down to M.A.'s belt, the Swablu released their newest campanion, the Smeargle (no one trusted Tora with any protecting business), whose droopy eyes widened a teensy bit due to the fight. What chaos. It was almost beautiful how that gorgeous Psychic Pokemon sent all those others flying, as if they had no will of their own. Oh, he would like to paint this scene, he thought, as he attempted to pull his art book from M.A.'s startled backpack... But then Ulani drilled him on the head, angrily ordering him to watch over the girl since the bad guys might attack.
It wouldn't do to have his new master offed like his old one, so he best do his job, the Smeargle thought. Saving a damsel in distress (which M.A. certainly wasn't), such an artistic, romantic duty!
And so the Swablu entered the melee. First, she Misted the area, then used her element of surprise to get some Shiftry right between the eyes. It wasn't enough to take it out, however, and the indignant Wickid Pokemon slashed some leaves at her -- Razor Leaves. She cried out in pain, but toughed through the tears forming at her eyes to go at the Shiftry in a Take-Down. The Tree went down, Ulani not with it; though she was a bit tired by that effort already. No more reckless throwing herself at Pokemon. She'd have to be craftier; she'd leave all the reckless throwing business to Daemyn, whose strength was pretty much in his persistent anger tantrums.
The Smeargle -- whose name M.A. discovered to be Diego in a brief, pleasant conversation between her advising the two Pokemon in battle -- decided he might as well flex his artistic muscles as well. He lazily held his tail, which glowed a blackish color, and painted a moderately huge ball with clashing teeth -- a Chain Chomp. This was his version of Crunch, and he sent the barking illustration out to do its damage.

To say Mike wasn't aroused by his long legged beauty completely dominating Rockets left and right would be a little bit of a fabrication. He laughed as he watched those that weren't completely knocked out scurry away with their tails between their legs. "My hero!" Mike swooned, prancing over and wrapping his arms around Flannery in true-damsel fashion. "Photo op-HURK!" his little rendevous was cut off when a meaty hand grabbed his jacket collar from behind and spirited him effortlessly into a pile of broken chairs. He was there one instant and then BAM, metal sandwich. Mike landed in the assortment of scrap with a loud crash. Mike's yelp and subsequent field trip grabbed Portabello's attention, who turned to be met with a rather large Rocket Grunt.
"Alright mushroom, you're coming with me." the hulking mass of muscle said, cracking his knuckles threateningly. "Unless you want to end up like your little boy back there." He nodded back to the pile of chairs recently renovated with a shaggy brown haired human missle.
Portabello narrowed his eyes, far from pleased. I'm going to have to decline that offer, tempting as it may be. His tail swished back and forth, traces of toxic spores littering the air. I'd suggest you take this time to flee, my Master wouldn't even break a sweat on a low life like you.
"Oh, you can talk," the grunt replied, ignoring the Breloom's threats. "The boss will gimme a raise for nabbin' a rare Pokemon like you."
Portabello, Stun Spore! the assortment of bent chairs mentally commanded.
With pleasure. The Breloom spun around, launching one of his toxic seeds straight at the distracted Rocket. It hit his chest, exploding in a cloud of toxic powder.
"What the-!" the grunt yelled unintentionally inhaling the paralyzing spores. In mere seconds he was frozen stiff. There was a loud crash as Mike exploded from the pile of chairs and landed harshly on the paralyzed Rocket, knocking him to the ground. There was blood on his face, and despite the pain evident from his cuts and scrapes, he was smiling.
"Hello there." Mike said sinisterly as he leaned forward, staring the grunt right in the eye. "Hee-hee-hee, that was fun!" he said through his smile, laughing at the man's frightened expression. "Oh good, you can move your eyes. Let's see if you can still scream!" Mike lifted up his head, bringing down onto the grunt's nose. It connected with a beautiful 'krack!', blood splashing out from his nostrils, a bit of it decorating the boy's forehead. Mike was delighted when he found out that the man could in fact, scream.
Mike let out a taunting sigh, igniting his gloves as he looked down at the helpless man. Without a word, he began to pummel the defenseless Rocket, his screams of pain only fueling his fury and battlelust. The boy laughed hysterically as the once mighty man was reduced to a whimpering coward beneath him. However, pity did not stay his hand, and he continued to tear into the Rocket, the pure rush of combat grabbing him and not letting go. It was only until he noticed the man wasn't moving anymore that he stopped. He was badly beaten and burned, but he would live. Pity. Mike stood up and brushed himself off, walking over to Portabello with a smile.
You alright Master? inquired the Breloom, brushing off some dirt from Mike's sleeve. But, before he could respond, Mike lost his balance and hit the ground, hard. Master! cried Portabello, rushing over and helping him up.
Mike shook his head, he felt awful. "Hey Portabello," he stood up, still teetering around a bit. "What happened? Last thing I remember was being hurled backward and..." Mike looked back, noticing the charred and unconcious Rocket on the ground. His head snapped back to Portabello, confused and a little frightened. "Did I do that?"
I'll explain on the way Master, now we must return to Sir Kilik!
The two ran back to Kilik, and were moments later joined by Kasiya. "Glad to see you're alright Kass." Mike said with a smile. "Now let's take this a*****e down a proverbial peg." With Kasiya and Kilik at his side, nothing would stop Mike from taking down Giovanni once and for all.

Kirsa's sudden outburst of authority and violence took Sasha by surprise. It hadn't really hit her until now that she was an actual cadet, and not just a little cutie in a suit. "O-oui! This is time for action!" She couldn't wield an improvised weapon as well as her friend, but she did have Pokemon. Taking Kirsa's lead, she commanded Granite to chuck a supporting volley of stones over at a nearby battle between a young trainer and a Rocket. The rocks clobbered the unsuspecting Zubat and sent it crashing to the ground. Both the trainer and the rocked looked over at the sudden intruision on their fight. "You can thank me later, run! I'll take care of this!" You didn't need to tell him twice. The boy recalled his Pokemon and fled, running towards the Pokemon Center.
"You little whore!" the grunt replied in a hideous raspy voice. "I'll fix you!" With a powerful toss, the Rocket released mangy looking Raticate, who made up what it lacked in charisma with a pair of sharp fangs. "Raticate, Brick Break!" the seemingly genderless Rocket cried out. The rat lunged forward, bringing down a glowing foot on the Graveler's head. Granite stumbled back slightly and rubbed his head, he wasn't expecting a hit like that.
"Whore?!" Sasha shrieked, screaming out a few choice French words in reply. "Granite, we will not suffer zis mockery! Flatten it!" The Graveler was more than happy to comply. With surprising speed, Granite threw himself into the air, bringing his massive weight down beside the grunt and her Raticate. The ground beneath the two erupted as stone and gravel were forcefully thrown into the sky with explosive force. Granite chuckled as he saw both Raticate and Rocket fall to the ground and scramble to make a getaway, joining his trainer in a victorious laugh.
"Zat is right you, you peasant! You run! " Sasha looked back to Kirsa and nodded, wearing a cute little determined frown. "Let us take ze fight to them! Charge!"

Riza's eyes were wide as the sudden evolution took place before her, and she smiled at Crenu and his newly evolved Pokemon. 'Okay I go from wonder what evolution looks like to seeing two in one day, how exciting!' It definitely pumped her up for when her own Pokemon evolved, if they ever chose to, that is. Riza had been too busy contemplating evolution at the moment and she had temporarily forgotten that she was participating in a battle. Ralts let out a shrill cry as the Ekans' acid splashed all over her body. It burned so badly they she could barely stand it.
"Ralts!" Riza cried, hating to see her Pokemon in pain like that. "Give him another confusion!" she called out, watching proudly as despite the pain, Ralts sent out another fairly strong blast of green, psychic energy at the naughty snake. "I'll teach you to attack people!" Riza shouted, her blood starting to pump now that her adrenaline had kicked in. If Crenu was willing to get injured to protect her, then she would do what she could to help protect him. It was only fair. * * * * * It seemed like the buizel was far more experienced than Noa was, as it was definitely getting the better of the starly. It launched another stream of water at the already tired bird and she faltered in the air, not out of it yet but definitely looking worse for wear. "Come back now, Noa! That's good for now." The brownish starly was pulled back into her ball by a red beam of light, and Katie narrowed her eyes at the buizel. 'This is going to be tough,' she thought as she sent out Genki. The Chimchar appeared in a flash of light, his flame already flaring up brightly as he sized up his opponent. He had seen this kind of Pokemon before and he knew its water-type attacks would hurt.
"Hah! This'll be easy!" the older boy laughed, pointing at the chimchar. "Soak that little firebrand with water gun!" The Buizel seemed to be laughing just like its trainer as it fired a get of water at the fire-type. Genki wouldn't have any of it though and deftly jumped out of the way, avoiding the watery attack like it was nothing. He sneered at the buizel as if to say "That all you got?"

As Robin ran forward she couldn't believe what she was doing. Running forward to a stage where a super strong trainer was with a powerful pokemon?! What was she thinking! This was something Luffy would do not her! This was for someone who was brave! Defiantly not her! For some reason though her legs kept moving her forward. Soon she was scrambling up onto the stage and to Rowans side. While she had scrambled forward she had missed Ann, now Cynthia, guard the professor with that Garchomp pokemon from the slides.
She watched with wide eyes as the Typhlosion was thrown as if it was a doll to the side. Never before had Robin seen such a powerful pokemon. She felt so out of her league... Turning her gaze back she could see everyone else was doing battle against the Rockets. They were all so brave, and so strong. Who did she think she was trying to save the professor? She bit her bottom lip in worry, everyone was so much stronger then her. Even trainers who were brand new were joining in and defending everyone else. She just stood there on the stage looking stupid and feeling fear well up inside of her.
It was a good thing that she had Luffy with her and he didn't put up with any of that self depreciation crap. The brave Aipom just gave his first and best friend a look that showed he was not happy with her. Giving her a whack with his tail upside the head he hoped that she would snap out of it and turn into the strong woman he knew she was! Looking forward he spotted Professor Rowan. Now Luffy had never met the man before but he couldn't help but be impressed with him. He was very brave and very strong willed, Luffy really liked that.
When Robin felt Luffy smack her upside the head and give her that disappointed look she felt something break inside of her a bit. Feeling the bravery she had felt before come back she stepped over to the Professor who was watching the battle between Cynthia, who revealed she was the Sinnoh Pokemon Champion! No wonder she was so strong! Jumping over to him Robin forced a grin on her face. "Professor!" She called out hoping that he recognized her. The Pokemon Professor turned his gaze over towards Robin and stared at her for a moment before he seemed to recognize her. "Oh Robin! I am glad you could make it." It didn't even seem like he was under attack or anything! He was standing there cool as a cucumber watching everything go by. Robin was a bit taken aback by how calm the man was but she shook it off. "Well I came up here to help you out. It might be best to get off the stage, or well at least out of plain sight." She muttered that last part. For some reason she had a feeling that he wouldn't be to pleased to leave the stage and the look on his face proved that she was right. "Oh come on please! It's not safe here! Plus I think the stage may collapse soon! I mean An-Cynthia did destroy one of those beam things." The stage didn't seem that safe as it shook somewhat under their weight and the flurry of battles going on around and on it.
"Hmm. It seems like that might be a good idea." The man muttered as he had to brace himself somewhat. Just then a Noctowl shot out of nowhere and snatched the briefcase from his hands. "Damn!" Rowan cursed as he watched the pokemon sweep off with it. There was a lot of important information in that case! "I need that briefcase!" He made to go after it but was stopped by Robin grabbing his arm. Glancing back he saw that the girl was scared. She was scared up on the stage but she was also determined to make sure he was safe. He frowned slightly before he sighed an decided to go with her. It would not be good to waste this girls courage like that. Robin could almost cry in relief when Rowan decided not to go after his case. He could always get that information later, but he couldn't get his life back if he died. She also didn't want to see the man who had inspired her into becoming a pokemon trainer get hurt!

Keegan felt himself get blindsided by something big and heavy as he tried to hold onto Kasiya's hand. The force of it nearly knocked him to the ground, and by the time he regained his composure, Kasiya was nowhere to be seen. "Kasiya!" he called, though it was to avail. He couldn't see the blonde anywhere and he silently wondered how she'd gotten so far so fast. Someone nearby had shouted something about the professor, and naturally Keegan turned his attention towards the stage. He was quite shocked to see none other than Mai, alongside a strangely familiar pink Typhlosion, both of whom were threatening the professor. "Dammit, Mai!" he grumbled, and soon he found himself moving towards the stage, intent on helping out Rowan. He didn't know why he was doing what he was doing, but perhaps those talks with Kasiya had inspired him to be a little more forward in situations like these.
A man in black advanced on him quite suddenly, wielding what appeared to be a broken chair leg as an improvised weapon. With a guttural growl he swung it home run-king style, and Keegan winced from a painful-sounding crack as the makeshift-bat made heavy contact with his torso, just behind and below his left shoulder. He bit his bottom lip hard in order to keep from yelling out, so hard in fact that he tasted blood. He pushed through the pain, locking eyes with the Rocket as another swing came at him. This time, however, Keegan ducked, much to the Rocket's dismay, and the redhead didn't hesitate to plant a fierce kick to his attacker's gut, just below the ribcage. Keegan smirked as the Rocket went down, though he was a little sad that it was over so soon - he must have really done a number on the guy's solar plexus.
Rotating his shoulder gingerly to help relieve the pain he now felt in his back and chest, Keegan looked up to the sky as Giovanni belted out an order to someone called Leo, and as Keegan followed his gaze towards the stage he caught sight of a man as he sent out a Noctowl. In a dazzling display of moves the owl had quickly relieved Professor Rowan of his briefcase and was now heading back towards the man Keegan assumed to be Leo. "Oh, no you don't!" Keegan shouted, knowing he had only one shot to seize that briefcase before it fell into the hands of Team Rocket. He let Artemis' Pokeball fly, as she was the fastest Pokemon he had and he thought that maybe she had a shot at out-maneuvering the Noctowl. "Intercept that Noctowl, Artemis!" Keegan shouted. The Swellow trilled out a sharp battle cry before she zipped towards the retreating owl, ready to snatch away its prize.

As Kilik was about to command Flygon to attack Giovanni's Dragonite, he felt the wind get knocked out of him. A somewhat lanky Grunt had snuck on up him and slammed him in the back with a chair. The boy's pupil's shrank as he stumbled forward, arching his back. He struggled for breath, falling onto his knees. Another blow to his pride was delivered in the form of a kick to his spine. Kilik let out a scream from the excruciating pain. They'll stop at nothing to make sure this goes through! he thought, attempting to crawl away.
"Oi!" the man laughed, "Wee lit'le Kilik can't even get hisself up!" He had a very thick British accent. He kneeled down and grabbed Kilik by the hair, pulling him up. "Rememba me? You were one o' my commanda in chief's. Neva could rally stand ya." He pulled back his fist and let a punch collide with the boy's jaw. "Man, Boss is watchin' this! He's gon' be so proud!" As he pulled back again, he felt a sharp pain in his arm. A shark was biting into his forearm ."That's a dodgy." A Sharpedo had latched itself on rather tightly. "Gerrof!" he barked, dropping Kilik.
Kilik landed on the ground in a heap, gasping for breath. He wiped some blood off of his lip as he looked up, his vision slightly blurred. "HEY MAAAAN!" Mazarin called out, flailing his arms about, "Great job, Sharpedo! Keep...doin' that bitin' thing you're doing!" The shark dug his teeth deeper in. Maz held out his hand for Kilik to grab. "You alright, man?" The black haired boy nodded, standing up slowly. His mouth was filled with that familiar copper taste. "Thanks. You and Sharpedo take care of Willis," Kilik nudged a thumb in the direction of Sharpedo's food. "Gotcha, buddy. Hey, Sharpedo!" Mazarin ran after the Grunt who had thought it a good idea to try and steal the shark just by running.
Kilik moved back over to Mike and Kasiya who had arrived. Flygon hovered next to her trainer, nodding excitedly. "Flyoooooo!!" she cooed. "Let's see what Giovanni can do when it's the three of us against him!" The boy pointed at the man on the helicopter, "You're not going to win so easily!"
Giovanni growled, glancing over at the Noctowl. If I get that briefcase, I can leave! He then laughed at Kilik's statement. "Aha! You're way out of your league, boy! I'm no mere Gym Leader, did you forget!?" He clenched his fists, "I am Giovanni, the head of Team Rocket! None of you have defeated me!" A smirk appeared on his lips and his eyes moved over both Mike and Kilik.
"And I know things that would make your friends' skin crawl!" Another mighty laugh, "I've got ammunition that you can't defend against." He snapped his fingers. The machine moved closer to the ground, within a safe distance for Giovanni to jump off if he so wished. Dragonite landed on the earth, ready to battle. Another two Pokemon revealed themselves from under Giovanni's control: The four-armed Olympian, Machamp and the green, not so friendly dinosaur Tyranitar. "Even if you did manage to 'take me down a peg'...Let's just say you'd truly regret it." His eyes seemed to pierce both Kilik and Mike, especially.
Kilik's fist shook. He looked warily at Mike and Kasiya, then back at Giovanni. What 'ammunition' was he talking about?

For the second time the Ekans was ssent tumbling back from the Ralt's psychic blast, finding it very difficult to get up a second time. But when the Ekans did finally manage, he held himself up in a rather woozy state that didn't employ much confidence. "Ahh! Wait, I know what to do! Ekans, use Bite now!" The Rocket looked pleased with himself as he remembered about the type advantage he'd have over the Psychic type Ralts with a dark type move, but when the Ekans coiled up to strike, the pokemon dove into the ground in its confusion. Head plowing into the dirt, teh Ekans lay dazed and unable to continue. "Oh no! I thought this girl was one of the weak ones!" Having been defeated and in fear of being laid out like the other Grunts he decided to retreat.
"Alright Hitmonlee, finish off that over sized rat with a Rolling Kick!" Hitmonlee nodded as he jumped forward, spinning his body around as he flung his foot out like a whip to destroy the Radicate. The Mouse Pokemon was quick however, and managed to evade the attack.
"Now Radicate! Quick Attack!" With a burst of speed from the Radicate's powerful legs, he rocketed forward with a streak of white light trailing behind him. Leaping up into a tackle it plowed into Hitmonlee, sending the kicking pokemon toppling over. The Hitmonlee was stunned for a moment, but seemed alright for the most part.
"You're up Pupitar, let's hit that Golbat with a Rock Slide!" Pupitar remained planted firmly on the ground as he locked eyes with the Golbat, preparing to attack. With glowing eyes, the Pupitar shook a little as several rocks and stones lifted up from the ground, raining down on the Bat Pokemon with great force.
"This one could be a problem, Golbat use Confusion Ray!" As the Golbat floated around screeching maniacally he tried his best to avoid the rain of earth that was coming down on him. Within a free second, it shot forward a bright and strange glowing orb that weaved around as it controlled by its own free will. As the orb circled Pupitar rapidly, the Golbat was struck down by a rather large stone and was being pelted by others. When the rock slide came to a stop, it struggled to get back into the air covered in bruises and scrapes, but still screeching wildly and ready to keep fighting.
Crenu watched as the orb circled Pupitar and entered his body, causing the Hard Shell Pokemon to wobble around in disorientation. This was a bad situation, Pupitar might end up damagin himself more than the opponent like this. But He was still pretty fresh and that Golbat must have been hurting after that last attack. Crenu himself seemed a tad disorientated as he wobbled a little as well before shaking it off. His breaths were growing a little heavier and he was starting to sweat despite the cool ocean air, but Crenu ignored these things as he still had a battle to win and pokemon to protect. Despite his general outlook on people and their daily concerns, Crenu did somewhat believe in at least one thing, and that was justice.
