Yes and no. Last week and the week before were pains because of midterms. Last week I had two tests with essays and a paper due... which really isn't as bad as one of my classmates who had the horrible luck of having 3 exams and a paper due all on the same day. This Monday and Tuesday I had D&D, so Saturday and Sunday were me preparing for that and relaxing after all that school stress.
Then my D&D session on Tuesday depressed me because I f***ed up royally... at least 5 times (that session really sucked... for everyone... there were so many critical failures flying everywhere and we almost died several times... but there were just as many critical hits)
Monday's session was fantastic for me, though. We fought something called a gargantuan harpoon spider. It was a Challenge rating of 10 and our party was all level 6's... but because of me and my mace of a**-kicking we flippin' killed it in thirty seconds of game time. That spider totally wanted me dead... Really really badly. The second to ast round, all 5 of it's attacks were aimed right at me. You can't blame it, though, since it had about 520hp, And in 3 rounds I had dealt it 380 damage by myself, with the rest of that from my party. Thank you +2 Morningstar of Wounding which actually has the stats of a +3 mace of wounding because the DM said that's what it did. I almost died at the end though, because, like I said, it really wanted me gone... Freaking harpooned me. Of course I resisted all the poison before that (thank you, Dwarven poison resistance), but when it harpooned me, it got me with the poison. Sucker almost ate me alive, too (which was pretty much insta-death, for me at that point), but I managed to grab onto my troll buddy and his ridiculously high strength saved my a**. He made the roll to hold onto me right on the nose. Then my party broke the string that was trying to jerk me into it's mouth (which was really hard... damn string took 2 critical strikes and our sorcerer's force beam (rainbow beam if you have any idea what I'm talking about) to the face before it broke... Then the spider jihad-ed us in the face and basically exploded itself sending poisonous barbs flying everywhere, knocking our sorcerer back 3 spaces and impaling him to the wall leaving him at -9 hp (-10 is dead)... and impaling me again. Luckily we had found some Jesus-water just before this (super-water that instantly revives us to full health and cures everything), so the sorcerer got healed, and I drank some water while the troll and our other fighter pulled two poisonous spines out of me at the same time... which I promptly fell unconscious afterward, because that made me take about 150 points of damage which was being healed at the same time... which is pretty much gonna knock your a** out (I also failed the fortitude save...). But that one was fun. I kicked that spider's a**, man. 380 damage... by myself... in 3 rounds... round four was me getting impaled and then cut free... and round 5 was it self imploding because it only had 31 hp left.
Hells yeah, we kicked that spider's a** in 30 seconds.
But Tuesday was depressing... and I'm only now getting over it.

Oh, hey. Somebody had set a lot of the sub-forums to "crew only" for some reason... So if those of you who aren't crew or higher couldn't get into them before, that was why. I've fixed the ones that say they are open for business. The only ones that are still "crew only" are the blank one and comic relief.
Sorry about that. I wouldn't have even noticed if I didn't check.
Also, I've changed the guild type back to "private," since that's what it was the last time I remember it and it somehow got set to "Public." I remember some kind of vote thing that happened in which we agreed it should be set to private. Since it seems after they upgraded the way guilds are done, we can change it around now, I say we should have another vote on that.
The options would be:
public - anyone can see all the posts and post in the forums whether they are a member or not. private - Anyone can see posts and forums, but only members can post. hidden - only members can see posts and forums or post in the guild.
My vote would be to keep it private... but I can understand making it public if we want people to see if they want to stay here before they join up... although, I don't really want to have to deal with people just jacking with the forums or something...

Yahoo has released a list of 100 Movies to see before you die. I posted the list in my journal. Which ones make your list and which ones should have been or should not have been included?

Looks like rain for the next four days... I just washed my pups, so hopefully I'll get to do a photoshoot for the new Pet Society! Oh that reminds me... I'm posting "Dog Logic" today in my journal.

... I just saw something on XPlay of frickin' S*** yourself epic proportions. Like, seriously, if this thing doesn't fail, it will completely change the way computers are dealt with and how games are played for frickin' ever. I cannot even frickin' describe the magnitude of what I just saw. My jaw dropped and I just started spouting blasphemes as I was overwhelmed by awesomeness. Let's see if I can find the segment somewhere online... Yep, found it. and for the love of everything good in the world, watch this. It's that monumental. http://g4tv.com/xplay/videos/37359/GDC-09-OnLive-Video-Game-Service.htmlOf course, it's a pretty big gamble. If it sticks, though... if it sticks... it'll change everything. If it dies... it's probably gonna take a long time before we see anything like it again, if ever. It's gonna cause some problems with the companies that make hardware for gamers, too... for damned sure.

... I had a dream the other night... and just now when I thought back on it and analyzed it... I think I know exactly what it means... and that realization made me swear outloud.
I'll put it in the "Dreams" sub-forum... maybe someone will look at it...

Seriously... that dream analyzed almost too well...
I've been not writing out dreams, for some reason... I really should... I have 4 or 5 good ones right now still stored that I should really get down.

Chain, I agree with you. The Guild should be Private. That is how I always wanted it to be and what we all had voted for. Could you please make the change for me? I'm still not feeling well. Sorry. And if you can think of something to include or get going for me in the Comic Relief section I will greatly appreciate it. And then you could get it open for others to start posting. I hate starting new things and then having to abandon them before they even got off the ground because of getting sick. I love you Chain and appreciate all you're doing. Later yawll.
