I go on a particular charity thread every time I'm on Gaia, cuz I've made friends there and it's an awesome place to hang out. I was talking about the amount I have to raise for the cheapest Alruna's Rose before I went away for the Bank Holiday Weekend and when I got back on today, there was a trade request waiting for me from one of the members of the thread with the title "You have friends here, it won't take that long."
It was a donation of 12k!

I spent the Bank Holiday Weekend with my Grandparents. I haven't seen them in forever, so it was nice.
We had a barbeque! With steak! And the weather was awesome. And my fella saw a shooting star! I didn't see it... crying

It was from Archangels of Hope. They're a lovely bunch. The charity itself gave me 7k recently for just being present and conversing.

I made my own set of runes today! I made them out of air-drying clay. I still have to paint and varnish them before I use them, but I think I did pretty well.
Okay, they're not perfect, but they're mine and I made them.

Yes! That is why I made my own wand out of a branch from my favorite tree in my garden. It's just a bit of horse chestnut (conker to most people) wood with some string wrapped round one end for a handle, but it has meaning to me.
If I knew how to forge stuff, you'd see me making my own athame next! rofl
