Yay, my exam session has come to an end about two weeks ago, though *coughs* so probably I am going to write here more often than before. I've already been on some small vacations but now I am going to spend some time at home. I'm pretty much tired of changing my location constantly... ^^'
Anyway, how are you guys? Sorry for not being very active and stuff. What are the guild news apart from the news thread? ^_^

Finally! People are back! How is everyone this weekend? My weekend is alright except for getting into arguments with my mom. I really need to move out. Has anyone entered the July fanfic contest? I recommend you do! House points and all.

The horror X'O... Aha. What type of tattoo did you get? Time for the RAVENCLAW RAFFLE for Haven House Points Winners! The drawing today is for a Langer dragon plush from among our points winners who earned over betwen 5 and 15 House points for Ravenclaw last term! And the winner is...
Ivysaurusrex !!! SO FAR,
House Point Earner #1 - turayza has been rewarded with a winter fox mink off her wish list. She also received 2,000 gold, and for winning the most number of House Points of all Haven, an Ancient Chest!!
House Point Earner #2- Cerbera Dragon received a Western Zodiac off her wish list and 2,000 gold!
The next 6 people have all earned at least 25 points for Ravenclaw. Rewards upcoming: a drop necklace, Ravenclaw colored giftbox (Brown giftbox with a blue bow) a blue trimmed speedies bikini top & bottom set!

I spent most of the weekend reading a delightful Crossover fanfic. 17 chapters or so, and not complete yet. This was a recommended fanfic from our subforum. Many thanks to Shi-koi of Hufflepuff for recommending this one in our FanFiction subforum!
What if Harry had been raised in a loving family who has great pride in their bloodline? A rather unusual, particular American family! Harry is sorted into Slytherin, as in many FanFics...but this time he goes the process of sowing friendships across all the houses.
Summary: Petunia Dursley discovers that taking care of two small boys is too much for her, so she passes the guardianship of Harry Potter over to a distant relative - Morticia Addams. With Harry growing up in a very different type of Family, Dumbledore desperately tries to get him back. But the Harry Potter who finally arrives at Hogwarts, along with his "cousins" Pugsley and Wednesday, will be nothing like what Dumbledore expects.
Lots of heartwarming moments (which were completely unexpected given the premise), delightfully canon...in parts... I especially appreciated Potions class and the PTA meetings! (Parent-Teacher Association, for those who live outside the USA). I loved what happens to Remus...and Augusta Longbottom...and Neville, and Lucius! And poor Arabella Figg! I didn't particularly like the way Dumbledore was depicted, except that I detest Michael Gambon, so I quite enjoyed visualizing Gambon in the role in this fanfic.

Turayza - I don't know if you have already found this Item Normalization thread, but if you're still looking for it, then you must simply go to the main page (Home) and from the table below (Announcements) choose "View all". Then just find the thread.
I always pay attention to Snape while watching the series... however, I never noticed that. O.o
Uh, I can see I have reached 50 posts already. Does it mean I'm a second year student now? *can't find the thread with the years' table*

I never watched the movies beyond the first time they came out--and there are longgg gaps between, so I didn't really remember. Except Harry, Hermione, Ron and Draco change too much to have the difference be unnoticed.
