No, just attempting to intellectually checkmate him before I need to have someone else do it for me.

Jak I don't see any mention of that Y shape, nor of their being any cuff. I read Leathery Apron And then the soldier stopped dead.
He simply was going to wait for his opponent to finish traversing the remaining footage between them to attack. Both of the gloved hands on the baton gripped it tighter, and the left one near the bottom twisted it slightly and pulled out. The length of the baton's shaft grew roughly an inch and a half, but at this distance and the fact that Spooky had his left hand down diagonal with the weapon; there was little to no chance this insignificant detail would be noticed. Especially when the soldier didn't break his gaze, just staring into the other man with dead assuredness, peering and waiting for the first move. with alittle extra on how he had seen Damion's hand motion in MMA. now here's where it goes to your right Leathery Apron He cocked an eyebrow upwards, curious.
Spooky continued to hold the weapon, with the yoke of the baton just above his right hand across his chest. With the two men finally coming to a head, the soldier was ready to counter and finish this, but first he was going to maintain his stance and let it all go down. This was the exact same way he had beaten Crawley just a short while ago, given this guy was probably nowhere near the same level of fighting as that man had been; this match had his name all over the Winners Podium. unless he's holding it in his left and the right, like the mid section of the staff or something. In which cause I didn't quite understand what you said. but like I said, there was no mention of the Y shape, nor a picture to run off of. I know you stepped back, I acknowledged this, but what I got from your post was that it was in your right hand and being held across your chest.

I mentioned that the right hand was below the yoke, the Y-shape, as you continue to refer it too. Check the quoted post yourself.
I never moved my left hand after the initial mention, as you can clearly see.
Please stop delaying, and edit your post to fit within the confines of the situation that you had your character walk into.

dude, a yoke tells me nothing. as I said before, a baton to me is a telescoping straight peice of metal. Not a y shaped one. it's like telling me a car part, I have no ******** clue what it is most likely.
but fine, It's not an unbreakable lock, so I'll fix it.

Yo apron, how much turning room does that baton give the wrist?

Tres - Absolutely none, you can't turn your wrist maybe perhaps a third of an inch left or right. And with the cuff on, you aren't going anywhere.
Dirge - Sure, if you can get out of the cuff it isn't.

First real day and we already got threats to call in a judge over a very basic attack motion.. I say we let this argument carry on 'bout three, maybe four more pages. If it's still going, all current GTB contestants should be allowed to enter the match in question and beat the contestants ruthlessly.
It's a great way to solve such troubling issues like what a baton truly is.

Dirge - Sure, if you can get out of the cuff it isn't. Theres a way out of the hammerlock when a person does it with there hands and just has a lock on the wrist...because that at least grants some slipping and squeezing room. I'm still trying to figure out a way to get out with the baton. and its hard.
